• CS3 Master Collection Disc 2 fails to install

  For the last year and a half, my laptop has had problems.  I can't just go from Vista to Windows 7 without doing a clean install because Windows Update, Security Essentials, Defender, indexing and other stop working when I make the jump to the larger HD and I need.  With this issue, Windows 7 (or 8) failure of the upgrade (probably due to a bad hard drive driver, but I have updated all drivers).

  This means that I have no choice but to do a fresh install ("clean").  The only thing is that my disk 2 Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection disk 2 request fails.  After inseting the disk (as quickly), the progress bar starts and then the installation fails.

  I tried again and again, and it always takes forever to start over because I have to go through disk 1, first.

  If I can just download the archive request 2 workaround I can install other programs of the disc, but I don't see any archive older versions of the software.

  I know that it installed and running on Windows 8 (without Acrobat), but for some reason fails it install in Windows 7.  I tried to clean the disc, of course.

  The only reason why I have a computer is to run this series of programs.  As an artist, the PC has no other use for me if I can't launch Photoshop/Illustrator/Dreamweaver/Prime, etc...

  I mentioned the cleanup tool because you are already done with disc 1 and you seem to have problems with disk 2. If this is the case, then there is no saying what debris has already been installed or partially installed by disc 1.

  Download a Mac of CS6 Master Collection version for my new Mac Pro? I am owner of a PC version on my desktop, but I want to be able to use it on my Mac Pro too.   Unfortunately not.

  Creative Suite (perpetual licenses) are the specific operating system: Mac only or Windows only. Serial number of your version of Windows will not work on a Mac.

  So you have to either buy a CS6 Mac version or join the Cloud.

  Creating Cloud applications are approved so they're Mac or Windows. So you can activate on Mac/Mac, Mac/Win or Win/Win.

  Yesterday I bought a new iMac.  Downloaded the CS5 Master Collection on the Adobe site, but install says that my serial number is not valid.  I double checked with my products on my profile, and the number is correct.  Says Adobe technical support it is a technical problem, but my serial number IS valid for CS5.

• Creative Suite Master Collection 6 - Windows/Mac

  I own CS6 Master Collection and finally move to install.  I just bought an iMac 5K retina and you want to install on it.  I have an edition of Windows in a nice box of CS6 Master Collection (so I just worked on) I have has not installed on my old Windows PC and now after downloading the Mac version that the CD does not work, the series is not compatible.

  Can someone help me because I have the Windows version is about 1 year old and not installed.

  It's on a windows 7 PC there is no option to uninstall individual items to the Master Collection

  I solved the problem by uninstalling all of the CS6 Master Collection because it was the only option (your not able to uninstall the indivdual components).

  The ran CC cleaner.

  Finally reinstall and apply the updates.

  PS6 now allows me to print without crashing.

  Given that I'm in College I bought the student of the Adobe creative suite Master Collection CS6 version. It installed very well at that time, but that computer died and so I had to get a new one. It also runs windows 7. When I run the disc it didn't * race option. Instead, all I can do is to open the folder and I do not see an exe or any type of file to install it. What on earth am I doing?   I have the installation media of license volume for Creative Suite 3 Master Collection, and I try to install more on an image I want to deploy the year next to some laboratories.  The image is an image of Windows XP SP3 new, material is tested and I use these CS3 discs for some years now, with absolutely no problems during installation.

  I just tried to install the suite to the reference computer / picture that I'm building the image now, when I insert disc 1 and run the installer, the installer initialized and files copy and then when the main installation window appears, I get the error:

  I just tried the same disk in another system, and there is no problem with the disk.  The installation program starts perfectly.  I also tried to share the optical drive to the right machine on the network and running the installation program on the machine of image problems, and it does not reach the same point at the first sign of the window installer to come with the same error.

  During this time, I was able to install some updates of Windows and that everything is up to date, install Flash Player/Shockwave, install other applications that will be going on the image for the lab, all without any problem.  I also ran CCleaner [cleaner and registry], as well as the cleaning tool Adobe Creative Cloud for CS3, which there is no problem when I ran.  I also tried to erase the files to Program Files > Common Files > Adobe which were related to the installer and try again.  Whenever I get the same error.  Other tips?

  Just to let everyone know, I've already finished by wiping the machine, and then reinstall Windows and updates.  4 different technicians support Adobe could not figure it out, and at that point I was convinced that other applications on the image installed before hand had messed with the system JUST enough to only effect of the installation of Adobe and nothing else.  It is the installation that we talk as first item on a clean image.

  I'm having a problem with my CS Master Collection most. I just installed the CS 5.5, then the upgrade to CS 6, on my macbook around new year. I have both version on a physical disk. A week ago, my Photoshop application froze and I had to force quit the application. After the reboot it kept stuck on opening screen. I went on the forum and troubleshooting to suggest using the adobe cc cleaning tool, which eventually delete all my other apps from my mac adobe. Now whenever I try to install it, I get this message "we encountered the following problems: setup initialization failed." "Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem. This is a hyperlink that leads to a screen with this "Adobe Support Advisor has ceased to exist".

  Snowwhitebunny it's because Adobe Download Assistant does not have permission to download the installation files in your Applications folder.  I'm surprised that you have not received an error message in Adobe Download Assistant himself.  I recommend trying download again and this time by choosing your user folder or desktop.  Once the download is complete the installation program launches automatically.
