Windows Defender keeps cutting
Earlier my laptop was infected by several Trojan virus. He had himself introduced mainly in - C:\Windows| System32 | Syshost file. Between AVG, and what was left of my Windows security operation, he never became a full blown virus. In any case, I'm tired of playing with it, so I reformatted.
Hello
You had before AVG as defender arrested; and this time, too.
He had to be stopped by moy.

My windows defender was cut I can not in it to turn back on it just says 0x8007043c error code
I tried to turn on my back windows defender when I turned on my computer (because it says windows Defender is not on) I don't know how or what it stops. When I tried opening windows Defender it says that he could not because of code 0x8007043c, try manually. So I did, but he did the same thing he told me to try safe mood so I did and ran a scan and it said: a problem was found in the 0x8007043c code. That's all he didn't say anything else, except that it allowed me to turn on windows defender in safe mode. When I went to return to regular mood, she appeared Windows defender is turned off and then on again. He has just repeated what I have been through before and will not come because I can't not here to turn it on regular mood. Could someone please help.

For more than a month now, I get in the right corner that Webroot Software would I discover my notifications after his scan but when I click on view the Notifications, I get the mini screen that says loading... Please wait, but nothing happens. I can leave it there all day and nothing happens!
I tried every way I know how to enter Webroot without success. I just ignored it for a while, but now I get these red bombs of the Windows Defender Security of dangerous files. etc on my computer and run and scan. I then noticed tonight that Windows is the security system ONLY of Anit-Virus and Spy Sweeper running on my computer when I always chose my own 'System' - Webroot and don't remember that change at any time.
It is of course the weekend and you cannot get technical assistance from them until Monday, but I need to know how to pass but Webroot and not to use Windows security. When I try to change it, it displays the option 'choose' your own but not space on the page where to enter wht you have or offer search systems on your computer! It makes me crazy!
I also get a local saying JavaScript:0 VOID not only when I try to choose Webroot but when I tried to buy some goods on Nordstrom the other day. I have accidentally about a month or two ago uninstalled or delete Java because I don't think I used it and less you have on your computer the better. Well, I think I live by myself because when I tried to reinstall, I hit a snag and it won't download it without the original program under Windows. If the two are related and how to help me with these questions?
I hate IE9 and wish I could go back to IE8, but those days are over... I want to just get Webroot rear Protection as my main security and get return period of Java!
Can someone help me?
Hello
If you gave the name of the Security Defender program properly, you are infected with malware
There is NOTHING to do with Windows Defender in Vista
___________________________________________________
Security Defender is a fake anti-spyware that displays the results of the analysis wrong and alerts of security on your computer in order to scare you into buying. This program is usually installed on your computer through the use of the web sites that display ads claiming to be an online anti-malware scanner. When this ad is finished, it will state that your computer is infected and then prompts you to download and install Security Defender on your computer.
Follow the steps in the deletion in the link below
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-security-Defender
and malware, Security Defender is, STOP your antivirus and real work safety programs!

Right-click Windows Internet Explorer 9 and click on uninstall and then, when you are prompted, click Yes.
Click one of the following:
Restart now (to complete the process of uninstalling Internet Explorer 9 and restore the previous version of Internet Explorer).

Windows Defender is disabled whenever I turn on my computer. setting has been activated automatically, but a message "windows defender is disabled" keep appearing one whenever I click on it. Help, please. Thank you!
If you have Microsoft Security Essentials or AVG installed, you don't have to do a thing. These 2 are supposed to disable Windows Defender, because they have their own "defender". Running two defenders would conflict on the other and redundant.
If you have not installed 2 above. Try this...
Start bittun > in the search box, type services > press ENTER > uac prompt > scroll down and look for Windows Defender...
under the State ; It must be said Started
under Startup type : must say automatic
If this isn't the case, right click on Windows Defender > properties >
under the change of automatic startup type to
under service status to start editing
Click OK.t-4-2

I need to keep Windows Defender and Microsoft Security Essentials installed?
My question is, what do I need to keep Windows Defender installed too, or I can uninstall it.
I have Microsoft Security Essentials installed and it works fine. I am running Vista 64 bit with service PK. 2 and the Defender is installed under Vista. Before MSE I used Windows Live One Care until my subscription has expired and that they did not renew it. At that point, I finally installed MSE. Windows defender can be uninstalled? It seems to be an unnecessary element in my Security Center.
Hello
No it can't be uninstalled
It is part of the vista operating system
by default must disable MSE, it
If for any reason any MSE has not disabled it read this;
read the information on the below link on how to disable the windows defender service in vista or make an autostart to enable
and here is the method to remove it from startup in vista

Why security essientials keep turn off windows Defender. ?
Why essential security keep turn off windows Defender?
Hello
Windows Defender features are included in MSE, defender of loading would be redundant.
Windows Defender antispyware =
MSE is antivirus + antispyware.
Then think about MSE as Windows Defender with more added (which is).
===========================================
Here's what I use and recommend:
Avast and Prevx proved extremely reliable and compatible with everything I threw at them.
Microsoft Security Essentials and Prevx have also proven very reliable and compatible.Avast Home free - stop any shields is not necessary except away from Standard, Web and network is working.
Prevx - Home - free
Windows Firewall
Windows Defender (is not necessary if you use MSE)
Protected IE - mode
IE 8 - SmartScreen filter WE (IE 7 phishing filter)
I also IE always start with asset if filter InPrivate IE 8.
(Sometimes you have to temporarily turn off with the little icon to the left of the + bottom right of IE)Avast - stop home - free - all shields you do no need except leave Standard, Web and network running.
(Double-click the blue icon - details look OK. - upper left Shields - those that you do not cancel).
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.htmlOr use Microsoft Security Essentials - free
http://www.Microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/Prevx works well alongside MSE or Avast
Prevx - Home - small, fast, exceptional CLOUD free protection, working with other security programs. It comes
a scan only, VERY EFFICIENT, if it finds something to come back here or use Google to see how to remove.
http://www.prevx.com/ <-->-->
http://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.asp <-->-->PCmag - Prevx - Editor's choice
http://www.PCMag.com/Article2/0, 2817,2346862,00.aspAlso get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever suspect malware, and that would be unusual with
Avast and Prevx running except a low occasional (not much), updated cookie and then run it as
a scanner. I have a lot of scanners and they never find anything of note that I started to use this configuration.I hope this helps.

original title: WHY Windows Update keep up to date USELESS of Windows Defender and installation USELESS malware remover?
I'm a computer technician who makes a TON of virus remove money from Windows computers. Two-thirds of my tasks of repair involving the elimination of viruses from Windows and trying to fix the Internet Explorer, the worst browser known to humanity.
I have a question about Windows Defender and the malicious software removal tool. These are two programs entirely worthless, evidenced by the fact that computers with them installed still get infected of all viruses, Trojan and rootkit out there. Clearly, if these two programs of malware Microsoft has done anything to protect your computer, it would have been without having to release still a THIRD tool antivirus, "security essentials" for Microsoft. I'm not complaining — the way Microsoft Windows absorbs malware like a sponge, put a lot of money in my bank account. Please keep doing what you're doing... however...
My question is, given that Windows Defender and the malicious software removal tool doing nothing to protect against malware, why Windows Update keep harassing upgrade us on a regular basis?
Windows defender is not an antivirus program, it is designed to protect against spyware.
If you don't like them, so do not use them.

I was looking for answers, but cannot find the right for me... I just want to know if boths do the same job my windows Defender cause was disabled for antivirus...
Hi Andrews,
I am glad that you posted the question in the Microsoft Community.
I would suggest you running multiple instances of the anti-virus program are not recommended. It could lead to false detection and performance degradation. You can keep o what a security program installed.
I suggest you to download and install Microsoft Security essential because it is a free and a very reliable Microsoft anti-virus program.
Download the latest version of Microsoft Security essential and install the same.
Hope you find this information useful and let us know if you need assistance in the future. We will be happy to help you.
