You do not have. You ask the recipient sends the receipt for you, but they are under no obligation to do so. Send a message to yourself to see what they see.

  • Windows Live Mail 2012 request username and password

Windows Live Mail 2012 never asked me user and password because it has been installed. After trying to send a photo from my Canon camera software after I had downloaded the images from the camera, asked for the username and password. Joined those from Microsoft. E-mail does not; It is in the Outbox. Choose the icon on desktop for Windows Live Mail 2012 and all contacts are gone. Email arrives, but can not send email. Need problem solved.

If you try to use the Windows function send to > message recipient to send an image, you must be logged into Windows Live Mail. There is a bug in the program.

When you are connected, you will see the contacts that belong to the Microsoft Account sign in to help. These are the same ones you see at http://people.live.com so sign here with the same account. If you are not signed in, you will see the default contacts list. There is no link between these different sets of contacts.

To avoid the bug, start by opening a message compose window in Windows Live Mail (for example by pressing Ctrl-N), and then apply a Insert > single photo to insert an image or images in the body of your message, or attach a file to send in the form of attachments.

If you are not able to send messages, please remove any message not sent from the Outbox, then compose a simple message, try again with a single topic and send it to yourself. Send the error message in your response.

  • 0x800CCC0F error code is trying to send an email using Windows Live Mail

Apparently not answered my question, even if it is requested - a lot!  Here once again is:

I can receive but not send mail with Windows Live Mail.  I have a new laptop - less than 1 week, running Windows 7 Home.
I set up my email accounts exactly the same as in Outlook on my old machine.  I have them set up on my phone without problem as well.  Only it does not work with Windows Live Mail.

I have McAfee Firewall and Virus Checker - which I disabled it according to other positions.  Not good, it won't send.  No matter what I do, this is the error:

Your server suddenly put an end to the connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Server: - hidden for obvious reasons.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0F
    Protocol: SMTP
    Port: 25

    Can anyone help?

    1. If you do not include the full error message, no one can help. Reveal your server won't cause problems.

  • My Windows Live Mail is sorted in alphabetical order by family name, but now, when I add a new contact, it is positioned at the top of the list instead being placed in the right place alphabetical.

My direct mail is sorted in alphabetical order by family name, but now, when I add a new contact, it is positioned at the top of the list instead being placed in the right place alphabetical.  How to load the list of contacts to organize all contacts, including contacts, in alphabetical order by family name?

E-mail address is removed from the privacy *.

My direct mail is sorted in alphabetical order by family name,

It is not clear what you mean by this statement.

    • There is an option in the contacts window in kind (names) of > name -is that what you mean?
    • Or that, when you open / switch to the contacts window, you see a list sorted by last name?
    • Or that when you click on to... or start typing in the to... box in a message composition window, you see a list ('contact selector') sorted by family name?

Only in contact with an e-mail address will appear in the "Chooser". The list includes names in alphabetical order. For contacts with a first name and a registered name , the list will be sorted based on the preference granted to sort by in the Contacts window. Contacts with multiple email addresses will appear once for each address with the address in brackets after the name.

Name is a special value built by WLMail contact data fields. It will consist of the first match found during the analysis of the data fields in the following order:

    1. Nickname
    2. First name + last name (in the order specified to sort by in the Contacts window)
    3. First name or last name
    4. Company
    5. E-mail address
As you start typing in of... box, WLMail will present a list of matching entries in your contacts list. You can start typing username, first name, first name, company, e-mail address to a contact or any significant word in the Notes field for this contact. So, if you type bil, for example, the list that appears will include
    • any person whose nickname starts with Bil, e.g. Billyboy
    • any person whose first name begins with Bil, e.g. of Bilbo Baggins
    • anyone whose first name begins with Bil, for example Jim Bilko
    • everyone whose company name starts with Bil, e.g. Billingsgate Market
    • everyone with an address of e-mail from bil bil or just after a period or the ' @' symbol, for example "the bilbo at hotmail dot com" or "jim to billingsgate dot com" or "jim.bilko at hotmail dot com.
    • all categories whose name contains a word starting with bil

If this does not solve your problem, please post your question in the forum dedicated to contacts in Windows Live Mail.

Impossible to send using windows live mail with on restart my computer every time.   I use broadband services, but they say it is not their problem

Start with this Port number.   Port 80 is usually reserved for HTTP.    Try the 25.

Unless your host secureserver.net says something, otherwise...

Oh.  They do it?  But no information for WLMail, so you have to adapt...

    (BING search engine for)

    )

In particular, I think, note this:

NOTE: "smtpout.secureserver.net" is a relay SMTP server. To use this server to send e-mail messages, you must enable SMTP relay on your e-mail account. Connect to your management page email accounts to set up SMTP relay. If you have not set up SMTP relay and allows it to your Internet Service Provider (ISP), you can use the server of mail from your Internet Service provider. Contact your Internet service provider for this setting.

BTW if you use WLMail.exe you can also try to get help from the WLSC through its Mail Portal

I tried this several times in recent days and get the same result every time.

I hope you look at the responses from the support staff to "cannot display" question to WLSC.  It's going to be a long term job, I think. The iPad experience was conducted using the same Internet connection or another?

I'm sorry, it will take an expert in demystifying the WLMail journal to address the problem of calendar. It is quite common, although I suspect that the message "corrupt data" covers a multitude of different errors. They should have enough cases to be able to say what the problem is, but they are so starved of resources that I doubt that anyone has attended the.

  • Lost mail in Windows Live mail 2011

I have several problems with Windows Live mail 2011.

I have archived emails in a folder - under "storage folders".

In the preview, there are 3 emails - all looking for good - but when I see the content-

as the former email of 2007 - which has nothing to do with these 3 are on display. It is actually the same with all 3 emails

and I have files from folder with the same problem. So now I can't see the content. BIG problem.

After check-in - I tested the email - and there is no problem - but all night - the problem came...

So, I get "this is a problem when you attempt to open this message -" so I should just click on another folder

and most of the time - when coming back to my original email - he then can open. Not very secure.

When you use the arrow - to open the subfolder - often display the records-pop up - what causes that

I then have to scroll again - looking for these same subfolders. Not very easy to use, as I would request for a stay in the place.

I just hope that you can save my emails - a less...

    Thank you :-)

  • Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0F - «your server was terminated suddenly the connection...» »

    De : M.V.Miller

Vista window Mail & Windows Live Mail both give me the same error:

Your server suddenly put an end to the connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Subject ' test... remove this (way join; 350ko)'

    Secure (SSL): No.
    Socket error: 10053

If the mail is just text, it passes generally through. A small accessory (60KO ' ish) sometimes sends. A greater attachment always generates the error message

I disabled the scan to email from my AV, both for incoming & outgoing messages. It is AVG Free Edition, Ver.8.0.169.

My ISP tech support says that my setup is correct; that the problem must be a bug in my email client... "call", they say... It was at their suggestion I went from WM to WLM. The problems all seem to have begun when the IAF spent my connection DSL of the CAPM method (using a Cisco 675 modem) mode DMT (with a Westell 6100 modem). (does anyone know what I just said, there?...) I don't have!)

.. .anybody have ideas? I am open to any suggestions at this point.

So Windows XP you pretty much has the same result as Vista, regarding the sending of attachments. To exclude the server as being the cause of the problem, you should try another server. Get a free account with Gmail, which will allow
    you try their server smtp.gmail.com.

  • Cannot send mail with picture through windows live mail Ox800CCCF3

Use windows live mail, until yesterday, I was able to send emails via hotmail with photos.  suddenly, the emails with photos began to go into the Outbox after sending button has been clicked.  messaages normal email without attachments are fine.  they can be sent and received.

one of the popup that tells you that the message cannot be sent was Ox800CCCF3 (among others).  In addition, on the lower right corner of the screen of e-mail, it says ' error (yellow triangle with an exclamation point) work online. "

I'm tired of trying to find solutions.  person doesn't answer the question or technical proposals indicated what to do.  I ticked a box in the center of solutions requesting that I be alerted when a response arrives, but all I got was an automatic e-mail saying that I asked to be informed of a response: there is no answer.  It doesn't matter if it's the windows or microsoft Solution Center.  I kep hit a wall of death.  suggestions welcomed.  Thank you for your interest.

    What AV (anti-virus) you use.
Whether she has the option of electronic analysis.
If so, find out if it is enabled.
    If so, disable it.

Note: do not forget to delete those stuck in the Outbox.

  • Cannot access Yahoo mail in Windows Live Mail

I use Windows Live Mail on Windows 7 as my primary e-mail which is very good management program but an old Yahoo I want to add to my Live Mail account.

Using Live Mail accounts I entered my Yahoo e-mail address and the password.  But when I open Live Mail I receive a request for my Yahoo name and password.  Simply typing in all thrown me back to the same page.  I sent a test message to my Yahoo which is received account so I know it works but Live Mail can't access.  Is it necessary to security special parameter (or similar)

How can I get Live Mail to my Yahoo account?

    Thank you

The link to Windows Live Solution Center went wacky. I can't connect either.
Maybe the server problem. Temporarily, I suppose. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.
