  I have this problem, too. Started 2/12 and that he might have after an update from Microsoft. It happens on that computer, not my other and only if you are using Firefox. • Cannot open PDF files in Windows Live Mail.

  I recently got a new computer running Windows 7.  I have Windows Live Mail and have tried to open the 'pdf' files attached to e-mails.  When I try to open them I get an error message.  I downloaded the file in the file management section for Adobe and Adobe.  How to open a PDF file without first having to save it on my computer?

  HURT SO BAD!  I had the same problem - I tried the security options in Internet Explorer and Adobe, also the download of unassociate.exe that was put in place for users of Vista and used on the extension pdf without result.  IF YOU USE IT ON THE PDF AND PDFXML extensions, then open Adobe reader and click Help, repair drive installation it works!
