• Satellite P300 - Windows Live Messenger System Crash

  I recently bought a Toshiba P300 that works great except for one thing: Windows Live Messenger completely blocks my computer.

  I tried the latest version of 2009, version 8.1, and even the version 7.5 and every time it's the same thing: I correctly install the program, then it starts automatically, I write my email and password, it connects to my account, I see my friends online and a few seconds later my computer freezes. It is said that the program is not responding and I can't even do CTRL + ALT + DEL, at all, nothing happens. My mouse changes when I'm on the side of the window (the double arrow appears as when you want to resize the window), but nothing happens and I have to press the power switch to turn off the computer and restart.

  I had no problem with the version of MSN Messenger or Windows Live Mail online, so I don't really know what can be the problem. Once I managed to speak to someone for about 2 minutes before the problem occurred (which happened the same day where that I bought the computer, since nothing).

  It is a strange problem that I know, but if anyone can help, I would be happy!

  I agree with you it s a strange problem and I've never heard of this.

  You use the factory settings or you have installed your own version of Windows? If you have your own version of Windows should reinstall using the Toshiba recovery disc. Also, if you are running the factory settings, you should try to reinstall Windows. Maybe it's a problem with a corrupted system file

• 0xc0000022 Windows Live Messenger; no other program Live running.

  I googled around and tried every fix and now I'm starting to desperate.

  I get the error 0xc0000022 when I run Windows Live Messenger on my laptop Vista Home. Error report Windows says it's Mabezat.B but after Combofix, many analyses SafeMode antivirus (Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes, etc) and whatnot, I'm sure MUST BE a false positive and the real question relates to permissions. After WLM all runs fine, initially anyway, if I "run as Administrator". He goes to crash when I try and do something with it, however.

  In fact, apparently no direct program want to run at all, even if I uninstalled, reinstalled them erased from my machine and reinstalled again. I'm normally very good with questions, this is the first time that I never had to ask for help online.

  I tried to remove and then reloading the whole windows live package.  But windows vista is blocking windows live Messenger every time dang.  These are the claims that it is closed by the DEP program.  Why is it that if it is part of windows or a windows program? And why my computer laptop isn't a problem with it, but in my office?  And I tried to add windows live messenger in the list of DEP programs, as indicated by the stupid help window and he ALWAYS breaks it.  is - anyone has a SOLUTION?   I recently undated my Windows Live Messenger Version 2009 (Build 14.0.8064.206).

  In a few seconds Messenger being connected in the message "Please tell Microsoft this problem" appeared, i.e. "Windows Live Communications Platform has encountered a problem and needs to close.   The only running two process was Tmeejme.exe, and after the problem has been resolved.

  The version I have installed, as described in Add/Remove Programs, is Toshiba Mobile Extension3 for Windows XP V3.36.00 XP. Anyone know if this problem with the new Messenger been reported before and is at - it a hotfix or an update?

  Well I've had this problem before and was solved with the installation of Service Pack 1. Well now it comes back to haunt me again! Windows live messenger does not register the webcam. The cam works and I am registered in the control panel etc. It is only on live messenger it does not...

  * Download driver Chicony Webcam drivers from Toshiba Web site section was updated. If you can't find an updated driver, try a new driver of another model of Toshiba.
  * Install the Service Pack 1 of Vista, or Vista Hotfix KB934374: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/934374 (KB934374 is included in SP1)
  * Update your e-mail software (MSN/Yahoo Messenger, etc...)
  * If you have another program that can use the webcam (e.g. Skype), make sure that they are completely closed and not, sitting in the system tray.
  * Try to close the bar Assistant camera on the left side of the office.
  * To stop the Camera Assistant software from running at startup, run Regedit and delete HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Camera Assistant Software".

  Usually two webcams operate independently from each other and so I don t think that it is a webcam driver problem I think that it s windows or windows live messenger problem
  Maybe something confused keys registry or files may be some updates to update or similar

  In your case, I recommend you to uninstall the software of webcam software, internal external webcam and the windows live messenger.
  Then, you must clean the BONES and the registry tool like CCLeaner cleaning, for example. It the free tool.

  After this, reinstall the Chicony webcam software and test functionality without installation of windows live messenger.
  If the webcam will be functions then you could install the windows live messenger again.

• Qosmo G40 - built Chicony Webcam incompatible with windows live messenger

  I can't have the built-in webcam to work on my brand new G40 - 108 with Windows Live Messenger. I get the following message appears when you try to set up "audio and video setting" the Herald: "Windows cannot connect to this webcam. Close any program that may be using this webcam and restart the wizard."

  He connected with technical support from Toshiba, which were also unable to solve the problem. We have tried to disable both webcam at startup apps. If both executed at startup, the chicony software does not work.

  Yes I have a solution.
  Remove the old software and the driver for the system.
  Go to the Toshiba European page and download the latest software for a chicony and the driver.
  Then install on the laptop and enjoy.

  Notes; Restart the laptop everytime after reinstalling the driver.
