  • You try to run Windows Live One Care Safety Scanner

Now, I tried this on 3 computers that are not networked to each other somehow.

I went to this link http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/howsafe.htm and chose to launch the protection scan and it quickly loads files 1 to 4 and then on file 5 of 8, it is located at about 50% of 5 to 15 minutes and then has a red error box popping up that he couldn't run or load or finish.

Some problems at the moment in this domain/site?

The error just pops up again and I copied it: 0 X 08402802

Try running the scanner using Internet Explorer if you use a different browser. Also try this time:

    http://OneCare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm

See what is wrong. Try java update of the control panel and in Windows Update. Restart your PC and see the result, it can also cause a delay of network. You can choose different location to scan by clicking on the language at the top right of the page.
