Hello

I try to see the photos using the default Windows Live Photo Gallery and keep receiving this message:

    Hi AntonioJMonteiro,

    (1) if it works well before?

    (2) remember to make changes?

Method 1: You can follow the steps described in the article below, which deals with a similar question

Windows Live Photo Gallery crashes or won't start

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/944221

    Important
: method 1 contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • Printing with Windows Live Photo Gallery and Windows Photo Viewer

When you try to print in the above programs (Windows 7 replacements for the old photo and Fax Viewer), there are several issues that I can't understand:

    1. I can't find paper of A4 size, only in small sizes.

    2. There is only a single print option: ' picture full page ' and not the ability to print size the image half or quarter size as in the old WP & FV.

Where can I find settings similar to WP & FV by which I can choose the page size and the size of the photo on the paper?

    Thank you

  • Windows live photo gallery screensaver "folder I chose contains no pictures or videos."

I don't know if it's the same problem, but windows live photo gallery screensaver gives me a message saying that the folder I chose contains no photos or videos.  But in fact, the record has a lot of photos and subfolders have thousands of photos.  This screensaver works fine on a xp computer that has essentally the same set of files.  Are there special issues with the Vista screen savers.

  • When you use Windows Live Photo Gallery SCREENSAVER, monitor off, regardless of power parameters. The power settings work with all the other screen savers.

Windows Live Photo Gallery screensaver does not extinguish whatever my power settings.  This is the case with Windows Live Photo Gallery.  When you use any other screen saver, the screen turns off according to the way in which the power settings are defined.  It is quite frustrating because I prefer to use as my screen saver Windows Live Photo Gallery.  But he will stay indefinitely if I stop it manually.  Someone has any idea how to solve this problem?   Thank you.

    ===========================================
Complex issue... but I'll try to offer some ideas.

Data that cannot be rewritten on the photo files are archived in the
Windows Live Photo Gallery database owner (Pictures.pd5).
So... move the files may prevent access to the data.

If you move the files to another computer, you may have some
moviing success the Pictures.pd5 file also.

Sometimes data are not written back to the image files, because they
are read only... and sometimes it's because of the file format.
