Windows Movie Maker is cut my clip.

I have a minute 11 long clip that I have the color corrected and transmitted quickly using Adobe After Effects. Later I put it in Windows Movie Maker to put everything together but after about 5 minutes of game screen just went clip all black with no audio either. This never happened before do - what I do?

You can also check and make sure that the clip is not cut.
Click under timeline to expand.
Go to video, right click on Audio and check to see if the mute setting is enabled.

I hope this helps.

When I imported a WMM video clip which is a. AVI file and it fell on the timeline and read, I could hear no problem but the screen was black. • Is what camcorder compatible with Windows Movie Maker on Vista Home Premium?

I'm in a bit of a dead end.  I have to make and edit a film which is mostly clips stored in Windows Movie Maker on my old computer which has VISTA Home Premium/64 bit.

In most old clips (that are compatible), I have to shoot some new images.  My recent purchase of a Sony camcorder does not work.

Can anyone recommend a camcorder that will have files that are compatible with Windows Movie Maker?  My Sony clips seem impossible to move outside the Sony software so I can't convert them.

I'm ready to buy a new camera.  I just need something compatible.  Would even buy a used one on E - Bay as long as it will work with the old Windows Movie Maker.

    Can anyone help?

If its on a memory card to buy a card reader, if you do not. Or if you connect the cable it should allow you to see what on it

Most camcorders these days support MP4. If it is HD. The new Panasonic cam I have here, I think that it records in MP4. Since it is 1080 p

The old who is also Panasonic may have been old, (it is not HD), but it had a firewire port.

But I think that it saved videos like WMV (I mean I don't know that it loaded in Movie maker, when I got it)

You will have either to buy a program that supports MP4, or use a video conversion program and convert to WMV

  • Windows Movie Maker plays audio only, from video files downloaded

(I see other, similar types of questions about my problem, but none that fits 'exactly'.  So here we are...)  Recently, I used the Roxio VHS to DVD software to capture movies at home at my computer.  Files saved as .mpg files.

When I tried to use Windows Movie Maker to edit some clips at all, I couldn't see any video (only the audio was playing).

I used the 'compatibility', put options different filters turned off. but this does not work either.

What should I do to solve my problem (and subsequently, to play these videos)?

  • Windows Movie Maker cut the end of the clips. Help! Why is this happening?

I don't understand why this is happening.  I used Windows Movie Maker with VISTA Home Premium often enough.  The images come from the camera I've always used.

I have a 64-bit computer, where this is relevant.

I'm working on a new project and twice now, Windows Movie Maker doesn't cut the end of a clip.  I don't get any notification that something is wrong.  It will not just clip the end.

Why is the happening?  What should I do?

    Thank you.

Instead of cut... maybe you can try to crack the

  • Some video clips to cut or freeze altogether when editing in Windows Movie Maker.

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

    • I imported a few video clips for Windows Video Maker and when I played against them on the timeline, they played very well, but when I started working on a project and added the clip on the timeline the clip played to halfway through and then the clip is cut off from himself and played the tree in this way the rest of the clip or just froze altogether but the timer continued. At first, I thought, there might be something wrong with the clip so I imported another copy of the clip, but he kept repeating the same problem with all versions of the clip that I imported. It is not the first time, it does, Windows Movie Maker has done this before with other video clips of mine.

This is usually due to incompatible source files.

  • Problems with Windows Movie Maker: video/Audio, cut and cutting

I recently did some videos, but there was this thing really annoying happening in the middle of the video. Okay, let's say I put together all the clips in Windows Movie Maker for my taste, and it's how I wanted it to be. I saw it and then suddenly in the middle of the video the sound shuts down or freezes the clip or it will just empty. I have not been able to solve and so I can't do more videos without him just hide or cut.

Please help, I need to make a video for a deadline but nothing I try suddenly freezes or cuts in a specific clip. How is what is happening and what can I do to stop it. I've accidentally done something or it just freezes.

Thanks, I need all the help I can get!

I use Windows Vista. And this has only been produced recently, that my previous videos have been very well.

Well well... once again, without success. The same thing happens, it freezes in the middle of the clip. I get the FLV file by orbit actually, but I don't know who is a hoarder of corrupted file. What should I do?

    ==============================================
Don't know what to tell you... apparently the original .flv video clip is damaged.

I'm cutting snippets of a video. I'm going to the clip, and then audio but the silent statement won't. Then I tried to reduce the sound from scratch, but the clip is not yet at normal volume. Is it me, or the program? Can anyone help me please with this.

  • Video clips in my program of Windows Movie Maker are not displayed.

It shows the video is played, but no image shows. I checked and the filter is not the problem.

Please mak that your videos are compatible with windows movie maker. As I know, windows movie maker supports well wmv, avi and mpg video. If your video clips have the wrong format, you can use this video converter to convert your videos to windows Movie Maker.

  • Windows Movie Maker closes when I try to load more than six clips on the storyboard.

I have Windows XP on my computer.

When I try to load clips in total more than 6, Windows Movie Maker closes down, regardless of how many clips I try and load at any time.

I save my 'best video clips for playback on my computer' - 'Create clips when the wizard has finished.

Y at - it a fix for this please.

  • Video clip with file extension 3gpp converted to wmv but no audio in Windows Movie Maker

I have a video clip taken from a cell phone with file extension 3gpp.  I converted it to a wmv file using software downloaded using an XP operating system.

Thank you for your interest and your answer to my question.  I was actually able to do something with it that I managed to import a file to convert 3gpp in Windows Movie Maker.  Here's what I did as others who may have the same problem currently or in the future, try:

Initially, I converted a file video in a .wmv file 3gpp and tried to import the Windows Movie Maker.  The video is imported, but is not the audio.  I converted the same file video 3gpp in one file .avi and it imported into the Windows Movie Maker project that I did and it worked! The .avi video and audio imported and played without any problems.  Thanks again for your response.
