I received a call from someone saying that they represented WINDOWS and they had followed my system (because I registered my laptop) and they have a detected problem and they wanted orders me to go to the EVENT VIEWER to make some changes that would solve the problem.

This is a complete scam and one that has become very common these days. Microsoft never does such calls. Don't think anything such a caller said, do nothing that he tells you to do and hang up on him immediately.

I have windows 7 and that you have not knowingly changed parameters. When I try to download something or play sims # I get a message that says your internet security setting preventing one or more files being opened.

I downloaded a game from microsoft called 'Faery-Legends of Avalon', I am currently running Windows 7 Professional. I can't play the game. The game turns on but when it gets to the part where you enter a character name, I get the answer that ' a problem due the program to stop working correctly, Windows go close the program and notify you if a solution is available. . Is this not compatible with windows 7 pro game. I just installed pro about a month ago and this is the first game that I downloaded from the installation.

It seems that the module defective sdb4mdu.dll is the cause of the crash. According to my research, sdb4mdu.dll is a driver printer interface module - which means that it is related to your printer drivers. Assuming that this module belongs to your default printer (which it might not, it is hard to say), disable it would risk instability. I recommend you to run the System File Checker. See this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us
Don't forget to restart your computer after you run it.
If this does not work, try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your printer.
If it does not either, we can try to turn off the TPM. (first of all, creating a restore point in case something goes wrong)
