• I just upgraded to El Capitan, which automatically "upgraded" iPhoto in Photos.  When I opened the Photos, my thumb nails is blurred with the exception of those that have been published in iPhoto.  This never happened in iPhoto.  How can I fix?

The photos were initially imported into iPhoto via the camera memory card to JPEG.  Is there a way to fix this?  I take lots of photos for a local spca and this will really slow me down in the decision-making process on the pictures to use.  I'm not a very tech savvy person any help with this is greatly appreciated!

  (1) did you do changes on the computer before this problem?
  (2) is the issue limited only with the specific folder?
   
  I suggest you to follow the steps and check if the problem persists.
  (a) open Windows Explorer .
  (b) with the right button on image library , and select Remove.
  (c) click Yes to confirm.
  (d) then right click on libraries in the navigation pane.
  (e) select restore default libraries.
  
  Note: Deleting of a library does not delete the contents of the included folders. However, you need to add or include your folders manually, if necessary.

  I suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the printer and see if that makes a difference.

  These applications come free with a new Mac. they are not included as part of the operating system.

  So if you had previously, they relied on the App Store with your AppleID.

  If yes then you can download them again from the shopping page in the Mac App Store.

  Or you have them on a backup that you made before the re-setup.

• Cannot find the boxes with inlay of text that have been converted from Quark

  Hi all.  It's kind of a weird one.  I have a lot of documents that have been converted to different versions of Quark to Indesign CS5.5.  I need to find all the text boxes that have a 0.139 text inset, which seems to be the default for text boxes that have been converted from Quark that have text box.  I'll find/replace, choose the command object and set my search criteria for spacing to insert at 0.139, leaving all other criteria being. He comes back and says no matches found.  If I create a new document and test it, it works fine.  Is there something that I am missing?  What is a "bug" due to a converted Quark document? I tried to uncheck all the attributes object except inset spacing without result.

  Doing this by hand is VERY time consuming as you might imagine.

  I think that your problem is with your conversion unit. 0,0139 inches do not match one point PostScript (it is equal to 1,0008 PostScript points). You should try the same method you were using, but rather try to enter "1 point" as your search query.

  Your antivirus can be delete messages and that's why they are gone (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx and if you are using Windows Mail try to compact and repair the database - www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).  Otherwise, you will just go to view | Current view | Show all messages.

• Since the last update, Thunderbird the entire PC stops when the popup box appears after all messages have been downloaded.

  The last automatic update included a calendar function, which I turned off I thought it was at the origin of the problem. But now, after you have downloaded all the messages, I usually box pop up at the bottom right of the screen telling me that I received x messages but he only half fades and the PC all jams. I re-installed the game. Same thing. I reinstalled Vista 64. Same thing. I get about 3 minutes in the game and then locking the. 1 single game still work (BioShock2). COD - MW2 and COD MW lock the sytem. One is direct install, and the other is the steam. I have a video card Nvidia GTX 280 with the latest drivers from Microsoft. Before the reinstall, I tried to install the most recent NVIDIA. Did not help. Yet the locks without showing error. About half of the time it stops at my off video card a few seconds after that the display goes crazy. BioShock uses DirectX 10, and others use DirectX 11. I read on some sites that 11 causes the video crashes on some systems. I want to know is why 11 is working for so long and stop NOW. Is there a way to make the games all run on 10? COD BlackOPS crashes too. I played ALL these games over and over again until the last 3 weeks. If there was some error to post logs I would but there is not. Any suggestions on where to find some kind of problem that could cause this? The video card was removed, cleaned and put back into the computer. Still crashes. 1 in 4 of the games will take place without any problems. 3 will be blocking of the computer and the video trash in 3 minutes or less to start the game. The video is great, until blocking.
