  My computer did not come with the CD of windows vista. It is a HP Pavilion 9340f.  I did a diagnostic CD hardware bootable, but also recovery disks. Vista would be on these?

  The last update was on 8/14 and since then I can not access the server for updates.  My machine is a Toshiba Satellite L555, CPU Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB, 64-bit with Windows Home Premium.  I get error code 80072EE2. I installed Norton Internet Security.
  This problem also exists on two other computers.  One is a Dell Inspiron with Vista which has had the problem for several months and the other is a same Toshiba that is fresh out of the box and has no additional firewall or antivirus protection.  I would be very appeciate any assistance.
