  • When you create a new message in Windows Mail only some contact appear just by typing the first few letters of their name

Original title: Windows mail contact probrem

When you create a new email, why some of my E-mail contacts appear with just by typing the first letters of his name while other contacts in my list do not appear?

for example, if I send an email to alan, so when I type the letter 'a' all contacts beginning with 'a' used to appear and you can select whatever you want. This is not the case now, and I have checked the contacts that do not appear are saved the same way as those that appear.

    Any suggestions please

  • Where are the files of Windows Mail messages and contacts stored in Windows 7?

I backed up a Windows 7 system and restored to factory State by doing a restore of the system because the system has been seriously infected by viruses.  I couldn't do the export before the system recovery.

Now, given the Windows 7 system restore brand new I am trying to restore Windows Mail account.  In fact, I can't tell if it was a front window Mail or Windows Live Mail.  I don't know if the locations of the files for messages and contacts of these two letters are different.

When I go to c:\users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\, I don't see Windows Live Mail but Windows Mail.  So does that mean it was a Windows Mail system not a before Windows Live Mail System.  I copied the files saved in Windows Mail system on the same path directory in the newly recovered system, but it doesn't seem to make a difference when I open Windows Live Mail, which is the only e-mail program on the newly recovered Windows 7 system.

Can someone confirm the locations of the files to messages and contacts, Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail in the operating system Windows 7 home.  Can I just copy the files on?  With Outlook 2007 and 2010, she usually works if I simply copy the files or import from the saved file.  Also should which file names be so that I can easily identify them?  Are the mail accounts and password setup to re - enter as Outlook 2007/2010 or are stored in the files I can simply copy to the new system?

  • Stop Windows Mail creation part of the body of the e-mails received

Why a simple received email from Windows Mail creates an attachment of e-mail?

    Hello

There is no bnout your system info.

However be warned that some (on the side of provider) e-mail servers convert e-mail to an attachment if they suspect that e-mail is a questionable spam.

By converting it to an attachment it gives the user a chance to get rid of before opening the "Junk" on access to its system.

  • I have a problem with my windows mail on my windows vista computer.

I changed my ISP and was assigned to a new email address.   I opened the windows mail and put in the username and password, but the windows messaging gives me an error message.  He let me use the windows mail.  Before that, I had installed windows live mail and windows live mail.  For some reason, windows live mail came and asked if I wanted her to be a default value.  I have to click on something and then I realized that windows live mail mixed all my contacts so that I could use windows live mail.  I didn't want to deal with the two different Windows Messaging system so I went and deleted just the windows live mail (I went as far as opening all files and remove what was in the files).  After doing this, I went to use the windows mail.  It seemed to work very well then, but I noticed that whenever I wanted to send a Web page, windows mail open exponent of the emails in the Inbox.  I would like to click on create and then copy and paste the link into the body (for me, the has not apparently normal).  I did the wrong thing by removing windows live mail in the first place (I reinstalled the 'thing' again, but it does not work either).  So, I'm stuck with two mails from different windows that do not work.  How to restore windows to their original function messages?

In addition to the user name and password, you must also change the incoming and outgoing mail servers.

  • Problems of synchronization between a mobile device and Windows Mail

I use Windows Mail 6.0.6000.16386 version (vista_rtm.061101 - 2205) on my Vista machine.

T1) when I synchronize my contact numbers of my mobile (Nokia) to my Windows Mail Contacts using the supplied software (Nokia PC suite), I find that if a certain person/entity contact stored in mobile, to say Mr. X or Company Y, 4 phone numbers, only 1 or 2 of them get copied into the Windows Mail contacts folder other numbers not copied anywhere. What is the reason for this, and how can it be rectified it IE. all the associated with a given contact phone numbers must be copied across everything by synchronizing?

Q2) I have 2 mobile, each for himself, and wife. Each mobile has its own set of contacts. During synchronization with Windows Mail, I found that all the contacts from mobile 2 copied in a single database of Contacts in Windows Mail and vice versa so in each mobile. So my contacts appear in the motive of my wife, as well as its own contacts, contacts appear in my mobile, as well as mine.  Is it possible in Windows Mail by which we create separate databases for each set of contacts in the mobile phone, so that when you run a synchronization between my phone and Windows Mail, only my contacts updated in 'ma' database and in my phone, then when the mobile synchronization of my wife with Windows Mail and only its contacts updated in 'his' database and his mobile phone.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

I think many other users of Nokia's reported problems with this PC Suite software. I suggest you look on the Nokia forums for support with this specific software, as it is a question of Nokia PC Suite and not a Windows Mail or Windows issue.

As for your second question, you need to create a second account using Windows Mail and helps to keep the boxes to the letters and separate records:

  • I need to change my details of window mail host

I typed in an invalid address for my Windows mail e-mail program & I need to change what I can send emails directly on Web sites. Where to find the info on the host & server my pc uses? I have no modem & just use wifi places.

You need an ISP (Internet Service Provider) to configure Windows Mail to send emails to craigslist, etc.

Or if you want to use Yahoo and Windows Mail, you must PAY version of Yahoo Mail PLUS for POP3.

Set up Windows Mail to connect to Yahoo Mail Plus

You can use Yahoo or Hotmail for web based email on the hotspots.

Save the file exported in the media of your choice.

To re-import your emails etc, just choose the import option and find the saved folder that you created in the guide above.
