  Anyone know where you can get a printer driver for the HP Photosmart 100 printer? II'm under 64-bit Windows 7 and can't find a driver anywhere. I have the original disc, but it shows be good only as far as Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Any help would be appreciated.

  By your post, I see that you need drivers for your Photosmart 100 printer. I can help you.

  I checked online, and unfortunately there is no driver available for Windows 7.

  But you could install a generic driver that should work.

  On the computer, go to start, devices and printers, select Add a printer.

  Follow the steps, select HP and Deskjet 9800, Deskjet 450 or the Deskjet 990, from the list. (even if you have a photosmart)

  I was given a HP Photosmart C6280 printer, but the person do not have the disc that came with it to install the driver. I am reluctant technologically and have no idea what to do.   I tried all methods to install English through regional options, install the update patch and also installing Microsoft Desktop language settings change. None of this works and there seems to be no English language pack and MUI is only for Windows XP Professional not personal.

  I went and changed the menus of the tab Advanced English-United States and the regional tab. Is that all I can install it. In addition the tab details and the English set as default language. Yet all my Windows apps and windows are Korean.

  I'm sorry, but as you know the MUI is only for XP Pro. You will need to either buy XP Home in English and do a clean install or upgrade to XP Pro Korean and get the language packs. (You cannot spend the Korean House in English Pro.) MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

• Compaq NX 5000 reinstalled W XP Home Edition, need driver help

  Yes, there is areal old computer, but still works.  I just reinstalled XP W on it, and now I need a help for all the drivers installed, etc.  Has already done this, but I could use a friend to help out me.  An irritating thing is that I tried to install the audio drivers the other night.  I didn't know that one to use, so I installed 2 different ones.  The sound now works, but when I start the computer, I get a window every time who said, 'the drivers have been installed.  Looks like she'd go away now, like it would be.  Any advice?

  So, since you have multiple audio problem (and for any driver, so that you have several chioces), find the ID of the hardware first and post it.

  To find a hardware ID, click each device with a small yellow? Select this option.

  Then click on the Details tab.

  You will see the hardware ID. (You need to XP SP2 or SP3 in order to see the hardware ID)

  Then I'll post the exact links by the drivers you need and there will be no guesswork involved.

  For a Web site, save in my favorites first. Then, just left-click on it and drag it to the desktop or the taskbar.

  I used a parallel cable rather than the USB cable. Just follow the instructions if you use a USB cable to connect your printer to your computer.

  I need downgrading to Windows XP Home edition to my new Satellite L40 - 12 X. For now, Toshiba does not provide driver Windows XP Home edition for my laptop, exept for Atheros Wi - Fi.

  So I found the drivers for each device directly from the only supplier site except for the modem of Toshiba. Vista driver does not work and the list of devices in its .inf file tells that the chipset is Agere.

  On the site of agere, I have not found what I need... anyone can help me?

  I had the same problem on my L40 - 13G. Before installing drivers, you must download and install patch KB888111 and KB835221 for Windows XP. And try to install the XP of satellite L30 drivers (if you have modem with toshiba chipset) or L100 (if you have chipset connexant).
  P.S. sorry but my English is not good - but I hope you understand me :-)
