Recently my company computer bit is facing error "insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service" on and outside, since mid Nov 2009. This happen when the user opens a number of excel (with link & macro), Lotus Notes & internet exeplorer 6. When this error occurs, the user are anable to open a network share, new program (e.g., word). A new program can be opened only if the other program is close and it not much (5 ~ 6 Excel, 1 lotus notes apps & 2 ~ 3 IE). seems there reach max what ever.

Memory (2 GB), paging (3 GB), disk space & CPU's been tick. use of resources see available memory (800 MB free), paging (2.5 GB free), space (5 GB free) disk & CPU avarage is 5 ~ 10% of usage.

try using the Explorer from sysinternal processor but fail because the sub-sub-screen/popup windows launch when this happen. check with the patch from microsoft update for patch to deploy these last. no chance to find one is reporting similar question to my problem (see list below)

    Hello

OT: I can not install my wireless adapter TP-Link on PC under Windows XP Pro. I continue to receive messages from "insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service" after each reinstallation
I had this problem since I moved into my new house two weeks ago. To my old place, my pc is connected to my router via a network cable, so everything was fine and dandy. However, to my new place, with a network cable is just not possible, so I use a usb wireless adapter to connect. I bought a TP-Link Wireless N USB Adapter (model TL-WN727N) and I can not installed.  First, I installed the software using the CD-ROM of resources which is come with the product then connected the adapter wireless on my usb port at the back of the pc. It detects the device very well, but when he wants to install the driver of this message displays "an error occurred during the installation of the device. Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service". When I opened my device manager, a yellow exclamation mark under Network - 802.11 n WLAN cards there. In this window, I tried:!. the driver update (latest driver same downloaded of the site Web of TP-Link) 2. Disable the device (nothing happens) and 3. Uninstall (which I just can't because another message "failed to uninstall the device. The device may be required to start the computer"is displayed). All three failed to install my wireless card. I am out of resources here, so any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Put into hibernation - insufficient system resources exist to complete the API (Tecra M4)

I just thought I'd pass on my experience with this problem.

I recently updated my Tecra M4 2 GB of RAM memory. Everything was fine except everyonce in a while he would not hibernate. However, it would suspend to RAM (standby). It seemed to happen after the antivirus software has managed to (which I had changed at the same time). I studied this way, but it also happened if I had a lot of programs running. So, a quick google search revealed why almost all laptops come with only 512 MB of RAM.

There is a problem with Windows, freeing the memory in a way that allows it to be written to the hard disk, preventing the hibernation and to create the very vague error message "insufficient system resources exist to complete the API".

The solution is to contact Microsoft by phone and ask them for the fix for the #909095 of the Knowledge Base article. The fix is free but the MS site makes it seem as if you have to pay £200 to contact Ms support

This seems to have solved my problem!
    Hooray!

This is the Knowledge Base article:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=909095

Here's the Blog I found the solution on:
    http://www.ntwizards.NET/2004/10/13/Hibernate
Of course, the only problem with contacting MS support is that I received a LOT of phone calls asking me what I thought of their support... it was very good, so I don't really mind, but I find it funny that I continue to have called and asked the same questions!

    Hi Kelly

    Thanks for this useful information.
It of very nice that you posted this tip. I think that it s very useful for users of the forum who might have the same problems on laptops.

  • Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.

That's what my computer says when I try to connect: "insufficient system resources exist to complete the API."   When I turn on the computer, it says that in a small box, a few seconds after that it says 'Windows is putting on the way to the TOP.'  But it won't be because of this and he just keeps fact that over and over again before it restarts itself.   I looked into this and found "this problem occurs generally when the computer uses 1 GB or more of RAM."  Please tell me how to solve this problem.   Thank you.

  • Error after running system update: "the Group Policy Client service has no logon. Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service".

Original title: run windows Vista Ultimate 32 - is system update, get now

Facts: OS Vista Ultimate 32 bit

    Antivirus - Eset NOD32
ESET prompted me to leave with the latest updates window, made it regularly, menu updates box Eset Windows open.  I accept the standard updates. Computer needs to restart to complete the installation.  I accept.  Windows restarts comp, I connect, BONE implements internal whatnot.  Screen turns off, a blue screen, stop, restart cycle begins = restart - screen down - blue - boot in SafeMode etc.   Finally, I use the Vista ultimate installation disc to break the cycle.    I repair the startup procedure, then restore point 3 days for a previous backup of the system.  Now I get "The Group Policy Client service failed the logon.  Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service".
What should do? What should do?  Buy a Mac?

    Hello PatrickRatley,

Often we see odd behavior as the result of a program from loading at startup.

To solve these, we use the clean boot troubleshooting.

The following article describes this process:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

If it does not and this ends up really being something to do with group policy, you can post in our TechNet forums:

  • Install the driver error: "insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service."

When starting my computer (Dell laptop) Vista, it asks to install the Broadcom Ethernet driver.  I click "locate and install driver software" and it returns the error:
Install the driver error: "insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service."

    How can I fix?

    Hello

    ·         What antivirus software or security is installed on your computer?

    ·         Did you recently change on computers such as installing any application?

    Step 1:

Temporarily try to disable the antivirus on the computer program and check if the problem persists.

Note: Check that you activate your anti-virus protection on the computer back after you complete these steps. It is not recommended to disable these settings on the computer. It's just to solve the problem.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software

    Step 2:

I also suggest you to download the drivers from the Dell website and check if it helps.

  • Error "insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service" what installation driver for Remote NDIS on Internet sharing

I get this error message when you try to install the driver 'Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device' Microsoft allowing me to attach my cell phone.  This driver installs normally automatically whenever I attach my phone to a computer windows 7 via USB and enable tethering.  I did several times with success on other systems, as well as one currently give this error.  I tried the registry setting:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]
    "PagedPoolSize" = DWORD
    "PoolUsageMaximum' = dword:0000003 c

As suggested in another article about this error message on a XP machine without success.

Currently expanded memory: 179 Non paged: 84

    Any help would be appreciated.

I also had this problem for awhile now and have been unable attach despite trying your suggested corrections.

Could you clarify what the error code 5aa means exactly? I get this error code when getting the "Insufficient resources" error when trying to install/upgrade my Motorola Network Interface driver, but the same error code appeared recently when I tried to install the latest version of my application of attachment, which gave me the same error code even if instead of "insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service." , it was in response to
    'UpdateDriverForPlugAndPlayDevices err is 5aa'.
I could only solve this problem by installing an older version. I think to understand it this error code would better identify the source of this problem.
  • Insufficient system resources when running multiple images

    Hello

I don't know if I'm posting in the correct forum, but I have a problem here.

I am under some applications of intensive testing in mulitple vm images, with these images hosted on a server.

When I run 2 images, applications work fine.

But when I run 4 images simultaneously, the applications start to fail with errors such as "insufficient system resources" or "invalid".

I surf autour and found "invalid" could also be due to a limitation of County of handle, which I think is sorta question "insufficient system resources".

Performance for 4 images are not ideal.

I wish that all the images to the performace to about 75% CPU.

But I couldn't just 2 to run at 75%, the other 2 to 25% of the CPU.

I wonder if changing to ESXi could help solve this problem.

    Anyone who could comment?

Do not specify more than one processor in your virtual machines unless you really, really need. Multiple virtual machines that you have, the more it will be difficult for VMware plan all processors which need time CPU. Also make sure that your disk by looking at the settings of the host, is not the bottleneck as it's usually my cause of bad results.
