Where can I download Windows 7 Pro ISO? I have the product key

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

Heyo. Im running windows 8, with about 2000 (I think) corrupted files that it contains. /sfc scannow does not fix any of them. /DISM / /restorehealth/cleanup-image online doesn't solve all these either. I need to solve this problem, because I want to sell this laptop, it is in perfect condition except for these problems. I tried hundreds of ways to solve this problem, and none of them worked. Even tried installing the trial evaluation copy Windows 8.1 to reset my pc, but not even that would install. IM in need you guys. I'd love any help that I can get and will be willing to give something (other than money) if requested :)

Laptop comes with windows pre-installed 8. Need update windows 8.1 update, but it does not.

    Thanks in advance.

Seems to me that your best bet is to contact your computer support and request a set of Recovery Disks.Note that there is usually a small fee for these expenses. Hope this helps and if you need another post to help and we will be happy to help you.

  • Try installing windows xp pro (not original disc) using the cd key that came with the computer and it tells me that it is invaild. Why?

Both xp pro... dunno why its not working, worked prior to this installation. Same model, same format, reinstall installation routine... not working do not. Help, please

If you have an OEM of XP Pro product key version and a CD of XP Pro retail, which will not work because they must be of the same type of XP Pro.

If both the key product AND the installation CD are for the same type of XP Pro (otherwise, they are all two OEM or they are two retailers), so you just need to be very careful when you enter the 25-character product key, be careful not to confuse an 8 with a B, a 5s etc.

  • Windows 7 home upgrade to windows 7 pro says that's not available?

I can't use my anytime upgrade windows 7 home to windows 7 pro, I said that's not available.

What can I do to upgrade to windows pro

Microsoft sales ended for Anytime Upgrade and licensing of retail in October 2013. Otherwise, your only way to upgrade is by purchasing the retail full version or upgrade Windows 7 Professional license and use it with the wizard upgrade Express Windows 7 home Basique/Familiale Premium. I just checked amazon.com and all the licenses that I see are copies OEM System Builder:

    http://www.Amazon.com/Microsoft-Windows-7-8-software/b?ie=UTF8&node=1286119011

This means the boxed retail copies request a bonus, while the OEM System Builder copies remain affordable.

    Full version (retail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-Does not require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

    -Expensive

    Upgrade version (detail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

-Expensive, but less expensive full version

    OEM System Builder version:

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

There is nothing wrong to use it too, especially that all future versions of Windows will be full versions.

If you can get a copy of a retail license, you can do the following:

If the license for Windows 7 Professional, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 Edition Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Professional on demand, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Professional your files, programs and settings retained.

Please note that the Express upgrade does not support OEM, MSDN-Academic, Volume (the student faculty licenses) license. If you are in possession of all these brackets, you will need to save and do a custom clean install. If you want to do it, please backup your Windows 7 Home Premium or according to edition currently installed. Some licenses for Windows distributed to tertiary level students are not perpetual, which means that you cannot continue to use the software after a course or graduating.

It must be a cd with sp3 slipstreamed CD.

If you can get into your bios default and the cd to start everything first and try again, what happens this time?

In addition, clean the cd by wiping gently from the Center to the edge, NOT in a circle, with a soft cloth wet litely.

your cd can have a streak that gives you the error.

  • Satellite A100-709 - Windows XP Pro lost key

    Hello

I formatted my machine today and re-installed the same operating system (Windows XP Pro), but did not notice that my key of windows on the back of my Satellite A100-709 has been torn. :(

So now I have a machine with an inactive license.
No idea how I can get it back, should I talk to Toshiba/Windows to do knowing that they might have in their books of b?

    Hello to omak

Problem s that this key at the bottom isn't for the activation of the OS and this is the license for the original Windows Toshiba version offers with this laptop.

If you are using clean install of Windows XP Home edition, you must use the key to legal license for this version.
You have original Toshiba recovery DVD that you got with your laptop?

  • Install Windows XP pro twice?

I bought a new PC and am now using the old, although I would like to install the CD Windows XP Pro I have at home with product keys and everything, is this possible? I read different stories about the mother card an onw only version, but I also read that it is possible with XP Pro to install on several systems.

So: I have the original CD of XP Pro, I will not use the systems at the same time (probably as he works to get rid of the old), and have both original product key. Can I just install it on the second PC?

I'm sorry, but which is not allowed.  You can only use your XP Pro CD to install it on a computer.

If you have a commercial version (you bought XP in a store) and not a version OEM (that came pre-installed on your computer), you can uninstall Windows XP from the old computer and install it on the new computer.

  • Install Windows 7 Pro the Dell laptop w / OEM Windows 7 Home Premium

I have a bit of a MESS! Bought a Dell Latitude Laptop online, which was supposed to have Windows 7 Pro.  When receipt he did 7 Home Premium. Found I had problems with some XP programs running and finished by the seller to send me a genuine disc "Réinstallation DVD Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-bit," Dell and a key COST and product.  My concern - since they are BOTH the OEM versions of the operating system and a new drive a "Reinstall" rather than an "upgrade" - is that going to reformat my hard drive and destroy all my drivers and the factory pre-installed programs?  Dell installs a number of vital programs to run the webcam, diagnostics, audio, secure data backup, etc., and all necessary hardware drivers, but they do not send copies of disc.  How to backup all this?  And then, everything I need to copy from the system to be able to reinstall the programs?  Seems an almost impossible process... A drive to "Reinstall" OEM gives you an option to simply replace the operating system and everything still leave it alone?  I certainly don't want to start without knowing what I am getting into.

    Would appreciate certainly no help...

    Nancy

Thanks for your quick response. I'm a little nervous because of all the issues that I had with this laptop - then just one last question for confirmation - if I buy a key to upgrade to 7 Pro AND use the Express Upgrade Wizard, it WILL NOT reformat my hard drive?

That's right, see how it works:

    http://www.notebooks.com/2009/10/26/Windows-7-anytime-upgrade-%E2%80%93-unlocking-more-benefits/

When I am in fact, drivers for all my hardware and programs installed and my data will always be there and accessible under the new OS? Thank you. Nancy

    That is right.
