  I have a Lenovo desktop computer that I would like to upgrade. Firstly the power supply. I was wondering what is the stronger power supply that I can put. So that when in the future when I purchase an upgrade I won't have to worry about food being a problem.   OK, I can say I solved it myself in totally different one for me much easier approach: graphics card of B590 I own is "Intel HD Graphic", so:

  1.), I searched drivers drivers vga WinXP ThinkPad Lenovo support site and downloaded (link to these drivers: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/83d122ww.exe - it really is just a container, you just extract/run it unchecking 'install' option at the end of extraction that way cos he instal used, a need to do it "by hand"... standard it extracted 'C:\Drivers\Win\DISPLAY4' so after extraction just take this file and) move it to the right place if you want, and you can also delete the original file "83d112ww.exe")

  2.) and then in Device Manager I've manually updated my 'hard' vga with these drivers uknown (you must point to the folder with these drivers, its subfolder in of these pilots called "Graphics" - you'll find required file 'kit51488.inf')

  3.) you will see 3 drivers after sellecting: Intel HD graphics, Intel HD graphics 3000, Intel HD Graphic 4000 - our drivers are the first generic one (Intel HD Graphic)

  4.) after press OK WinXP complain that these drivers are not exactly for this device blah blah blah, just go on...

  5.) at the end you will not be prompted to restart, but YOU HAVE TO (!)

  6.) after reboot: voila - everything is up and running as it should be now with installed Intel HD Graphic...

  Hello, has the same task these day´s. This is my solution.

  1. create a custom Win - CD installation with nLite, www.nliteos.com and
  include Win Service Pack 3
  2. change the Bios setting from AHCI to IDE harddisk
  (Native WinXp doesn´t truly support AHCI Mode)
  3. when the installation of XP is complete, download and install the "Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver for Windows XP, Vista (32 bit) - ThinkPad" http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-70477

  There is a file in your profile called popstate.dat that Thunderbird uses to "remember" where are included with downloads. If it is corrupted in some way what you see occurs.

  I'm glad that you guessed it, to work, but just to clarify, to transfer the entire Thunderbird folder, rather than just the profile subfolder, is suggested because it makes useless edit profiles.ini.

  Move from one OS to another way some preferences in the profile will not properly transfer as an attachment for the opening of applications, but the repair for this is to remove mimeTypes.rdf in the profile folder and let the TB to create a new empty version.   Did you move your library to a different location or restore your iPhoto library? Have you run free cleaning of storage applications?

  Where is stored the iPhoto library?

  If missing photos are no longer in your folder of masters and IPLM missing reports TIFFs, the photos are actually missing.  Is there a 'Old masters' folder in your iPhoto library?

  Try to restore t the library since the last Time Machine backup, you did until the photos have disappeared.
