Wiping of Windows 7 and reinstalling

So, apparently, I have either a defective battery or Windows 7 is not properly read the ability. I am very experienced with PC and never leave my overload of the battery, but Windows is reading that it holds only an hour. I don't know if I need a new battery or if there is a problem with Windows, so I chose to wipe. Here's my question.

The most effective way would be to save it, wipe the PC via the bios, then use my backups? Or I need a Windows 7 disc to restore the windows before I can use my backups? Any help or thoughts are appreciated!

My model is an Envy 14 1210nr

Play more with claymore

Try to calibrate the battery.

How to uninstall windows 10 and reinstall windows 7

I do not recommend coming back because I've seen too much to go wrong.
Returning can be done only if you have installed in the past 30 days (if you created a new user, you should remove it before come back you)

Back on the settings > update & security > Recovery > roll back to a previous operating system

This will only work if the windows.old and 2 hidden folders ($Windows. ~ WS & Windows $. ~ BT) are still present.  If you do that you will need to re - install.

  • If you uninstall windows xp and reinstall it will damage your computor

If uninstall you and reinstall the same edition of windows xp it will damage your computor

Not physically, but you may need to reinstall the device drivers and chipset for each hardware device to work properly.

Go to your computer manufacturer's support web site and search for the Windows XP drivers for your specific model number.

If there are Windows XP drivers, then download to a folder on your hard drive, burn them on a CD/DVD, then after you have reinstalled XP, install all drivers, starting with the card drivers mother/chipset, SATA, LAN, Audio, USB, graphics, Webcam, Etc., and so on.

If you have an Intel motherboard, you can try the Intel driver update utility: http://www.intel.com/support/detect.htm?iid=dc_iduu

    Graphics/video drivers:
Check the download site of the manufacture of the graphics card for the latest Windows 7 drivers for your card.

  • HP Pavilion A4310F: Remove Windows 10 and reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium

I did a full install of Windows 10 yesterday and I did not all records or documents as I saved them to my external hard drive.

The problem that I ran was that my NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 has no update to win 10 and that it does not appear correctly.

My computer came with Windows 7 Home premium installed and I have the product key.

As I installed the full version on Windows 10, I can't get the computer to win 7.

I don't have a Windows 7 disc, when I bought the computer, so I need to know if I can download a copy of the Windows 7 Home Premium somewhere and use my current product key?

When the computer is again I did a set of recovery discs and I still have those... I don't know if they can help.

Any help or advice would be very helpful.  A download link would be useful as well.

Thank you in advace for your help.  Jim.

Yes the disks you did will be reinstall W7, disc 1 is bootable, then put it in the drive and restart the PC, when you see the Dell logo ESC key several times, then select your boot (cd-dvd-rom) device, it should now boot from disc 1 and start the recovery process, it is a long process, so be patient and don't do anything unless otherwise , it will restart on its own several times, do not interrupt the process.

When it is done with the recovery, there will be a screen to start to set up your user name and so on.

How can I manually remove my hard drive? I have the reinstallation cd to reinstall windows xp.

Make sure that your computer is completely turned off.

Turn on your computer and quickly put it in your drive before the Windows XP logo appears.

It may take a few seconds for the disc starts to spin, then it should display the following in the screen test:

Follow the instructions on the screen, let it load all windows file, once it's done it should display an option:

  • Can I reinstall Windows XP and Office 2007 with just the numbers, product keys, and no disc.

I have three old computers in my house.  All three begin to show serious signs of just getting old.  I was recommended to clean my computers.  I would like to reinstall my Windows OS and reinstall the software of my office.  I've lost my records over the years and moving, but still have my product key numbers that I kept in my office files.  Is it possible to reinstall it without a disk?

    BCorb,

I suggest you call the computer manufacturer and request for an XP CD will be sent to you. It should be for only a few dollars, like $10 or more because it is an OEM copy.

For the Office CD, if it came with the computer you could probably try to ask them to send a copy as well, although I do not know if your computer manufacturer did.

    See you soon ~!
