Wired internet on laptop with no connector rj45 Inspiron 7352

Is it possible to use USB or HDMI wired Ethernet?  my inspiron has no rj45 connection.

Yes.  Looks like you just need a USB Ethernet adapter.  There are many choices and they are sold in most stores that carry the network interface cards (for example, Dell.com, Wal-Mart, etc.).

  • Trying to connect Xbox 360 to Internet using laptop with Windows 7, but am not finding the 'Share' button in the network connections and I don't have the ability to "bridge connections".

Sorry about the long title, but it pretty much says my problem. I am trying to connect my Xbox 360 to my Windows7 laptop with the ethernet cable. I have a home network that the wireless laptop works out of. When I go into the control panel network connections section, I can't find the 'Sharing' tab that says that every tutorial I can find there should be. Tutorials can say to go to the screen that shows your wireless connections, highlight your home network and the network to your Xbox and then right click and press "bridge connections". I do not have the option for bridge connections. Can anyone help?

After having connected the laptop and Xbox with an Ethernet cable, you should be able to enable sharing of Internet connection on the wireless network connection:

    1. Make sure that the two network connections are enabled.
    2. Right click on the wireless network connection.
    3. Click on Properties .
    4. Click sharing .
    5. Put a check mark in the check box under Internet connection sharing .
    6. Click OK .

After you enable ICS, not bridging the connections. Boulder computer Maven

  • HP G72 laptop with win 7 ultra randomly grave time and also the internet connection

I have two laptops running wireless, HP and an old Dell with XPS. The Dell works well with wireless and Wired internet and printer. The two laptops are side by side and wireless to the router provided by my ISP, Time Warner. The Hp also works very well with/wireless internet and to the printer until it disconnects from the internet/printer, date in which I simply turn off the Radio by using the f12 key and then re - turn on the radio with the key and continue my work. Sometimes the interval on maybe 20 minutes and a few hours. The computer loses the date/time, also on some different random intervals and reset it as well as the internet delivered to a server provides only temporary reset for a random period. Seems one of the ntp servers provides longer periods of internet connection than most other servers, including those of the nist.

It's way on my ability to fix, but from what I have learned, it seems this could be a timing issue applicable to both the disconnect from the internet and issues of specifying unstable computer date to the portable win 7 only.

I'd certainly appreciate any suggestions on how to solve these two problems.

    Fred

On March 8, I used Microsoft FIX IT to automatically reset the TCP/IP as suggested and restarted the computer and then reset the time. I haven't changed the time zone and guess that change from time to time would happen automatically. From that moment, the internet remains connected and the date / time is correct at the new time after 21hours which is encouraging. I do not understand how to reset TCP/IP would correct the problem of random disconnection of the internet, but I'll be glad if these two issues are cured and can only express my thanks to all who responded.

  • a computer laptop, internet is accessible only if proxyserver offline, my office internet is accessible with the proxy server. without him we cannot access the internet.

I am faced with a kind of strange and unusual error. in my office, the internet is accessible with the proxy server. without him we cannot access the internet. However, there is a laptop computer on which some time the internet is accessible only when I leave the proxyserver only on that machine... any idea?

    Hello

    Work on a domain environment?

Changing the proxy settings is something that you usually only have to do if you connect to the Internet via a corporate network. By default, Internet Explorer automatically detects proxy settings. However, you may need to manually set a proxy with information supplied by your network administrator.

  • How to configure NAT for Hyper-V on laptop with wifi, wired and vpn connectivity

Me, as I suspect a lot of people, I have a laptop with WiFi connection, cable connection and VPN connection (Cisco AnyConnect), which

also uses a virtual adapter (activated when active). I searched for some time a way to be able to move to

Hyper-V in VirtualBox. Blocker full for me is the need for a lot of my virtual machines to be able to connect to the

Internet through 'the connection active' in the way that VirtualBox and VMWare Workstation/Player through their NAT feature.

I'm not a networking wait, but after looking around, can't seem to find something that is simple enough for me to configure,

with a minimum of resources, which allows me to connect a Hyper-V virtual network via a simple NAT device adapter

all three potential network connections - most seem to not assume that one connection out of the machine, which of course does not

    me what I want.

    Three questions:

    1. is there a Windows application available that an adapter (like loopback) internal which acts as a real NAT device to one of the surfaces

external access via the active network connections and through the Windows Firewall and any other antivirus, components etc. for

the road to (i.e. behaves like a "normal app" inside Windows for internet access)? It would be the best option, because it would be

"always there" when I run virtual machines

    2. display of my lack of knowledge around this feature, don't RRAS (and I know that this is not an option "minimum contact") allow you to

Connect an internal network adapter to several external network adapters?

    3. on the Linux/OpenBSD various base/NAT routers, are everything that allow several external adapters and who are

relatively easy to set up (by an independent expert of the network)?

Really, we could do with this feature for Hyper-V on the desktop, but willing to work around him, if there is a way to at least the

use virtual machines, once it is easy to install.

    Hi rajendrarao,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community. According to the description of the problem, it takes a long time to connect to the internet. Provide the following information:

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You get the error message?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software .

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

    Startup options (including safe mode)

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode with networking, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 3 from the link to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

Method 3: Follow the steps in the article.
