  I have an old Pavilion DV6 3240Br and just upgraded to windows 10. Unfortunately, I can't find a driver for my system. HP said that it will not develop specific drivers for my device. It uses a broadcom 4313gn 802.11b/g/n wireless card. There is a driver (maybe another portable model) that works with this broadcom card in 10 x 64 windows?

  So I just install a new copy of Win7 Ultimate 64-bit version and I'm having the hardest time for an installation driver for the wireless network card.

  I was download the map and try to install at least 5/6 times but it will not yet appear in my device manager, or I am able to turn on the radio/satellite icon in my keyboard to turn on the wireless adapter.

  I have spent the last 2 hours trying to get this to work without success.

• Pavilion 17-f145nl hangs on malfuncion wireless broadcom - windows 10

  Good afternoon,

  I "try to resolve the issues on this laptop, as I put it to update to windows 10, associated with:"

  • freezes during use,
  • problems on the judgment or the suspension.

  I tried several suggestions read on the forum and through many relocations of several drivers, updates, or downgrade to previous versions, trying to find a stable combination:

  • Intel IME,
  • Broadcom driver wireless
  • Intel chipset,
  • HP driveguard protection,
  • video driver Intel HD.

  Now, everything is updated to the most recent. The only two things that I was able to solve are:

  • Stop - can save issues, by installing the latest version of the IME from Intel (11.0.0.1181) driver.
  • HP 3d Driveguard, following the indication of all (twice) uninstall before reinstall the latest driver from HP (found on the suggestion Forum). Driveguard was not working since upgrade to Windows 10 without me that realizing it. I was hoping that this latest achievement would have helped when fixing the mess.

  Yesterday, it seemed that affect configuration was stable, and I was able to operate all day with no problems (heavily). But today the mobile hung once again, showing Wireless failure in the tray notification area. Now, I think its clear that the real problem is the only wireless module!

  I don't know what else to try to get the broadcom correctly function. I have followed all of the suggestions, associated emission power, AP, power management settings compatibility settings and so on. Seems to be a problem between the chipset and wifi card, which is not possible to fix. The problem appears without warning, after some time or almost immediately after a reboot. It is random and impossible to identify.

  Reading the Forum, seems that windows 10 reinstall from scratch does not solve issues like this, but it is the last test I can run before you send the laptop HP using hardware (that eventually I'll do before the expiration of the warranty). And I come back to 8.1 windows (which can be a solution, go to factory reset), since last July, I bought the laptop with the assurance that the machine is ready to be upgraded to windows 10.

  I'm looking for a good alternative, before losing the other days without result

  Finally, I went to the complete reinstallation of Windows 10, authoring tool of via media, as suggested.

  After installation, I needed to update the wireless driver in order to make wifi work correctly (much lower than expected sensitivity). Now, after more than a month of extensive use, everything seems work fine, included network cable.

  The only question that remains is connected to power, the saving features with Notepad unable to go to sleep and resume correctly. As before, I demoted the driver Intel IME in the xx 9. a downloaded from the site of the HP service.

  After all, it would have been better to go to the tool of creation of media before, instead of trying to adapt the initial configuration of the upgrade. Through this experience, I did the same thing to other laptops, it is very beneficial.

  Many thanks to HP for help on this forum; I'll stay tuned and wait for the solution of the conflict Intel IME, finally.

  So, if you are unable to connect to the internet, unfortunately, I won't be able to help you with that.

  Your laptop was equipped with Intel wireless network adapter and NOT card Realtek WLan and therefore the Realtek WLan driver does not need to be installed.
  You should consider a fact: there are different laptops on the market models that are equipped with different material parts. Some support the Realtek WLan card and some models were equipped with modules WLan Intel and that's why you can find some drivers (like Realtek Bluetooth Driver Package Filter) in the driver from the list of downloads that are not essential for all models.

  As I m not wrong not the * Satellite A210 - ST0 PSAFGC * is a Canadian series and therefore, it would be desirable to use the Canadian page for the download of the driver!

  The WLan card chip could come from Realtek or Atheros.

  Last but not least, you should check your BIOS version. If the latest version is available on the Canadian page and then try to update!
