  Your model came with the wireless network card.

  Is there a place to install a wireless card?

  Are there already the antennas in the compartment?

  If this isn't the case, you will need to purchase an external wireless adapter.

  Please see the service manual in Chapter 5 for the location where the wireless card is going.

  None of them are available for sale to HP, then your best bet is to buy used on eBay.

  Only one of the listed cards will work and they also have the HP piece on them or they will not work.

  First of all, I hope that your camera comes with the wireless network card and the wireless network adapter is listed in the device under network adapters Manager.

  I bought a Pavilion 15-ab157nr some time ago and have had several problems with the internet connection. I think they come from the map, a Realtek RTL8723BE. I want to upgrade to a better card, but I can't find information on what might work as a replacement. Will there be a whitelist of known for this model? I found the Service Manual of 'star wars special edition' but I don't know if this would apply to my model.

  I understand that you bought your laptop some time ago, but have experienced difficulties with your wireless network you believe is related to the card and consider replacing the wireless card. I noticed you responded to a similar request in @ShoutH2O and that they will try the Intel 2 x 2 AC 7265, which is recommended to replace. • How to install mini-pci in 1955-S805 wireless card?

  I am installing a new mini-pci wireless card in my Satellite 1955-S805. I was able to lift and remove the black band brilliant above the keyboard and unscrew the two screws holding the key on the keyboard. But under the keyboard is silver metal. It doesn't seem to be a way to go beyond that. Everything I read seems to say that the mini-pci card under the keyboard.

  Anyone know how to install a mini-pci card in these books of 1955-S805? Or does anyone have a manual on this model?

  I don't know, but you have an American model. I have laptop 1900-703. This is a European model, and I had no problem to install the mini-pci wireless card.

  Your device also has a wireless keyboard. Am I wrong?

  I was told the card Intel(r) WiFi Link 5100 AGN is better that the card Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n, but why has not done toshiba card wifi accessible in the qosmio.

  I can't find a maintenanve or manual for this laptop, only a user guide has nothing on the location map wifi repair.

  As far as I know the NIC wireless on the Qosmio X 500 is placed under the keyboard if you want to have access to the wireless network adapter, you must remove the keyboard first.
  Can you do it alone?

  I just installed a number of 517188-001 wireless card in a HP slimline desktop PC. Although it is very close, I get a very weak signal from my router. Is an antenna needed to get a good signal of this card? It is not a router problem that I have a number of devices operating with success with it.

  I currently have a HP DV6-7014nr with Windows installed 8.1 and parts of stock out of the box.  I noticed that the stock is an internal wireless card is not dual-band.  It is a very large problem with my current situation, in which I can't take advantage of the possible bandwidth to my ordinary place almost as well as if I had installed dual card.  The warranty is already in place, so I am not concerned by the cancellation of the warranty, I just want to know if the card that I'm looking work inside the laptop.  I was going to buy a wireless card Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 HMWWB for my laptop, and I need to know if this card will work correctly with inside my laptop.  Thanks in advance.

  Well have the driver on the hard disk or on a key USB available for install after you pass cards. You can't install the driver before the material is present in the computer.

  Also, you will probably find that Windows 8.1 has built in the driver of the Intel card.

• Wireless card working not

  I have a 64 bit Vista computer. (at home).  Suddenly, the wireless doesn't work.  The router works. I have malware and virus up-to-date analyses.  I can go online with the hardlined of the computer.

  The driver (Intel) R WiFi Link 5100 AGN - is up-to-date

  I move the power switch and the led does not illuminate.  Am I safe to assume that my wireless card has gone wrong?

  I did a restore of the system without success.

  Any other suggestions before replacing the card?

  If I replace the card do I replace with the card laptop external or internal.  I have the slot I can do an external card.

  If the switch does not illuminate while the unit is probably bad. Check with the system
  manufacturer and their forums (if any) for known problems, especially if a guarantee is in place.

  Double check/settings (BIOS/CMOS) often F2 then attention screen as you launch - check to
  see if there is a setting to enable/disable - if so check that it is enabled - if you find yourself using
  another adapter turn it off then it. If no enable/disable in the BIOS, then if you end up
  using another adapter, then DISABLE the WiFi device present in the Device Manager.

  If you need another WiFi device the easiest would be to use a USB WiFi adapter.
