Wireless drivers

Hi all!

I'm having some trouble with the drivers for my laptop (Envy 17-j178ca). I tried to install all the possible drivers on the hp site.

Tried to diagnose and windows complains that there is a problem with drivers... even if it shows that it is enabled and active I cannot connect or even see the list of possible points of connection wireless. All this shows the large red cross whenever I try to open the list of available networks. Very weird, but any help would be appreciated.

Kind regards.

Okey guys!

Who ever had the problem with adapters Wireless download from the link above for windows corresponding (7 x 32, 7 x 64 or 8 s)...

My problem is solved... HORAY! Some HP business credit and the huge credit to my creativity... XD

Get it in Legacy Mode re-installed Windows 7 x 64 (SP1) and Wireless Adapeter installed everything away before installing any other DRIVERS (driver link NOT HP'S link above):
During installation select CUSTOM installation and select 3 check marks...

After installation, I was able to use and see the networks everywhere in my building (YES YES).
FINALLY...

Install the rest of the required drivers (chipset< might="" disable="" you="" wifi="" adapters="" during="" installation="" )="" but="" no="" worries="" should="" enable="" it="" after="" its="" completion.="" )="" and="" the="" rest="" of="" them="" audio,="" video="" can="" be="" "auto="" detected"="" and="" installled="" at="">

REST is u p for you!
ATTENTION DO NOT INSTALL QUICK STORAGE UNTIL ALL THE UPDATES AND DRIVERS TO INSTALL...
otherwise it does allow you to install anything... (WINDOWS UPDATES) ESPECIALLY... common problem of microsoft...

release, but no appropriate test... (just my opinion all rights reserved XD)

CUSTOMER HAPPY by USING your PC until it the END of it...

Good luck!!!

I have a HP mini 210-2145 DX.  I recently had to do a clean install of Windows Ultimate edition.  Now, I can get a wireless connection because I can't find the right drivers on the HP site.  I tried 12 + drivers that I downloaded.  They all seem to be for 32 bits, and it's 64-bit.

Can someone please help me find the right wireless drivers to install?  Thank you.

Try this different file and see if it works automatically and installs the driver.

    Very annoying, probably a bug.

    Concerning

Yes, I noticed the same problem on my two laptops from different manufacturers.
I have a Win 7 64 bit OS installed as well and I think that this could be the Windows or WLan driver problem
Because the two laptops use different maps of wireless network (Intel and Atheros) I came to the conclusion that this power has something to do with Win 7 OS.

However, your laptop supports the right card Realtek RTL8191SE Wlan 802.11bgn?
Have you tried the WLan driver from Realtek page?
    Try this

I could solve my problem refreshing the IP WLan.
I did it is the control box (back box began with cmd). Here I used the command ipconfig / renew.

It was very annoying that so changed that the WLan IPadress of automatically assigns a static IP address of course I had to change the configuration of the router to because DHCP assigns the IP address automatically on all devices in the network.

Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder, that you unzipped.

This package contains the Realtek driver local area network (LAN) that allows the NIC (NIC) Realtek chip in the notebook models that are running an operating system supported.

    File name: sp55083.exe

  • HP Pavillion DV6120us wireless drivers after reinstall

    Hi all

I intend to sell my HP Pavillion DV6120us laptop, so I wanted to wipe the drive and reinstall Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. I did it successfully, but when I went to install the wireless network drivers, nothing would work. I tried this utility that I had heard about called Driver Pack Solutions, but I got errors, try to connect to a network. So, I did a system restore. Then, I tried to download the drivers on HP's Support site. I discovered that there are two different drivers, one that is Intel Pro/WIreless and one which is Broadcom. I wasn't sure, but the descriptions made it seem like they needed them for work. I was not sure what order to install, so I tried the two, making a return system restore to before the driver facilities. I also tried each one on its own. No matter what, I still have errors, if he even showed the Wireless icon in the tray at all. I also noticed that there are two versions of the HP Wireless Assistant, 2.0, and 3.0, I think. What drivers do I need? Do I need or I have the HP Wireless Assistant? What version? In what order should I install everything? I'm doing something else wrong?

    Thank you in advance,

    Matt

    Hi all!

I think I found the solution after a little tinkering. I used the Driver Pack Solutions to install the wired ethernet driver, then connected to the internet and installed updates to Windows. I selected Custom and some updated hardware installed, and one of them was the wireless driver. After installing it, I installed the HP Wireless Assistant (V3.00 Rev D) and everything worked well and has since then! I had no error connecting to my network, and it is still connected after disconnection of the Ethernet.

    Thank you

    Matt
