  Yes, you must install Acrobat Pro application to edit PDF files. Reader is a different application and you cannot edit PDF files in that.

How can I do that when I can't even SEE the PDF file?  I'm not a person tech (strictly point and click on) so it's more frustrating for me.  When I scan something, which I do a lot, now I have to go through this stupid thing of cloud and he infiltrated everything I never scanned and saved.  I'm nervous about uninstalling this unwanted program because I don't want to aggravate the disorder.  I just want to be able to view and print PDF files as if I were always able to do before.  Suggestions (preferably some that a jerk tech like me can understand?)  Thanks in advance for anyone who has got an answer.

  Could a right click on the PDF file > open with > choose program by default and select CD player as default PDF Viewer.
