WLC Collection failed - Config - no APs running no.

I was not able to collect successfully with our wireless LAN controllers.  SNMP and SSH work correctly and one set of very limited data are collected, but he did not provide the AP inventory which is necessary in order to obtain these WAP portal of the NMP.  I tried everything at my disposal, but still does not accumulate the WLC AP inventory.  The WLC shows as "Managed" and collection is successful, less inventory of the AP.  Please help and if possible the Dataset that will collect this inventory so I can create a special Collection profile for our WLCs.  Thank you.

Perfect.  Thank you.  This sysobjectid should be part of the WLC platform (settings > manage platform definitions).  This platform will be referenced in the dataset (settings > manage data sets) called AIRESPACE-without THREAD-MIB_bsnAP.  If you look inside the data group, you will see the WLC platform here.

Collection profile was executed?

Where are you not see the APs?  On the portal of the NMP or in the results of the collection on the CSPC (reports > Collection profile summary Run), choose the profile Collection and the date, and select Action > view data.  You can find the device in question and click it and search for the set of data listed above and then see the raw data.  If you see the LWAP here, so this isn't a matter of collection and we need to check if it is a problem of back-end processing.

    Our DBAs extended then the data files, and we tried to restart again the Collection rebuild (fast regeneration).
    Somehow, he began where he had ended. Yet once, it failed with the same error as above.

    Then we restarted our servers of the University Complutense of MADRID and he was always at the State cleanup, State = Interrupted = poster

    (1) will disrupt it my collection research currently active? (My current collection of search works well, the documents are get properly indexed except on the new metadata)

    If new content get indexed properly, and then ignore the part of reconstruction of collection.

    (2) we look forward to perform the Collection rebuild with the option rebuild quickly. What are the chances of landing in a situation where we can to perform a full rebuild of Collection (we have > 2 M documents and who is consumea a lot of time and resources at the end server; and therefore our worst fears)

    Fast reconstruction is really needed when we have new fields of metadata added and need to be searchable.

    If this is where the problem happening, might then need some tracing more as an indexer *, systemdatabase with lots of comments for the following steps:

    1. Add a new custom metadata

    2 update Db configuration manager applet

    3. fast reconstruction

    4 to record with the new field populated and then perform a search.

    Capture the output of the server, then it must be analysed.

    Can you post the exact version of AAU where this problem arises and the version of DB? Copy the tag of version under AAU - Administration - Configuration information and posting it here.

    ORA-01013: user has requested the cancellation of the ongoing operation - is this still an active issue? If so, my suggestion would be to restart the receiver DB / service to clear all process of dead / guillotine.

  • update failed KB2572078, can not run properly.

    I have automatic updates and all seem to go thanks to accept to KB2572078.  I get a message "update failed" when my PC is running this update and I have tried everything I can to understand this.  I see that others have this problem so I am in the dark.  Can someone please help me understand what is happening?  The update is important according to my IE so I hope someone can help.  I ran microsoft fix it, and he said that everything is fine with my updates.  I had the same update failed with IE 7.  At work, we have technical support available at any time, but here I am without a lifeline... maybe you have the answer?  I appreciate your time if you have any suggestions for my problem/s.

    Try to repair the affected version of .NET Framework.

    To repair the .NET Framework 4 Client Profile or .NET Framework 4 extended etc. -.

    • Click on start/Orb and click on Control Panel.
    • Go to the program and features.
    • Locate the Microsoft.Net Framework 4 Client Profile or .NET Framework 4 extended, right-click.
    • You should have the choice to repair or uninstall/change, click it.
    • This will then give you the opportunity to fix it
    • Select the repair option.

    Try to install the update after a reboot...

    If no joy, see above section for further assistance.

  • Adding an entity to a collection fails with dps2015 api php services

    We have some problems with the php api.

    try adding a section entity to a collection (or collection to the collection House) still fails with the message:

    the message is lifted in the method dps2015sdk\contentService\Article ()->updateContentElements();

    It seems that concatenated data ($arrData) will not reach the schema of data requested in the application for the server.

    dps2015sdk\contentService\Collection::addEntity() requires an HREF entity, please try to replace your #4 by the following line:

  • Collection fails even if the test says its ok...

    I get this message after changing to 2.3

    • Collector starting VM test
    • OK collection: 10.150.1.25. Start time: 2012-04-03 14:52:33 duration: 2,948 seconds samples: 332
    • Collector for the VM ending test
    • A collection of 10.150.1.25, started to 2012-04-03 15:01 failed to 2012-04-03 15:01:03.

    so the test works fine, but when the real collection attempt, it fails. And I don't see why.

    also, I get this message when you try to establish rules:

    the server could not be contacted at this time.

    You have all the guests who would use a license server? (ESX 3/3.5)

    There is a mistake to the extent of consumption 2.3.0 when collecting of these former hosts.

    If so, can submit you a request for support and private Message me the SR number?

  • Clone fails - auxiliary database listener running but not no projection in LSNRCTL

    Hello

    I'm a DBA again working with databases Oracle 11.2.0.2 on Solaris.

    With RMAN, I'm trying to clone a database of production of server1 to the database of test on server2. The RMAN process fails with the error: RMAN-04006: auxiliary database error: ORA-12528: TNS:listener: all appropriate instances are blocking new connections.

    When I look at the auxiliary database (test), it is up and running, I can't tnsping it. However, under the heading 'lsnrctl services' I noticed that the corresponding listener is missing... even though when I check the running processes using ' ps - ef | grep LSNR", I can see the process.

    I can start and stop the listener for this database successfully, but it is still not listed under lsnrctl show or lsnrctl services. The entry for this database in the listener.ora file corresponds to the exact same format as other listeners of DB on the same server that display correctly.

    The use of generic names, the entry is:

    It suggests to me that two missing databases have a value assigned to their 'LOCAL_LISTENER' init parameter, pointing to the non-standard port.

    It gives to think that the missing DBA has tried to look at things and created an environment unnecessarily complex.

    A single listener, with the default name for LISTENER, using the default port of 1521 is quite capable of--indeed, was designed for - several databases of several versions of several ORACLE_HOMEs service. Try to "name" a listener or put it on a default undefined port does nothing but confuse those who come behind.

    But I digress from the topic of your immediate problem. Return the listener.ora file, restart your receiver. Then note what JohnWatson said about the way of lsnrctl commands addressed to this non-standard listener.

    Try bypassing the tnsnames and recipient. In the meantime I'll check your entries of tns.

  • Motherboard has failed on the computer running Windows XP Professional. Can I replace the motherboard and re - install Windows with my product key?

    My computer was assembled by myself has worked for many years, the operating system is win xp pro OEM.  The motherboard has failed and I'm replacing it with a newer version, that is no longer available. I can re - install win xp pro using any win xp pro not oem and using original key to activate? I understand the oem rules as it relates to a registered oem (Dell, Acer, etc) but my oem copy was bought at retail and as far as I know is not related to a named oem. In fact, I'd say I'm oem as I made the original equipment.

    There is disagreement on that. I've seen people claim that if you change the motherboard, you essentially create a new PC (which would mean you would need another license as an OEM license can be used on a PC and never transferred to another).

    And then there are people who say that it is the OEM who decides what constitutes a new PC. I tend to support this point of view, personally. But there is disagreement.
    BTW, if you bought the OEM CD has no impact on the license.
    After installation, you may need the Microsoft phone to activate (in other words, if the activation over the Internet does not work).
