WMA file works only in Internet Explorer

In Studio 8 (PC) I am incorporating a file audio .wma on a page using Insert > media > Plugin. Once the AMM PlugIn on the page, I put the settings for Autostart/True, Volume/1 000 and ShowControls/True.

In FireFox 1.5.0.9 the audio file begins to play immediately. If I change the volume to 10,000 or change of the ShowControls to False, there is no change in the way the page appears.

In IE6 the audio doesn't work at all.

Here is the link to the website: http://d13364384.u159.worldispnetwork.com

There is audio on several pages.

I'm a newbie, so there are a lot of things that probably need to work. But I do not know why the audio does not play in Internet Explorer.
I'll try and see if I can create an audio file in Flash and try this route too.

But someone saw as to why this audio file is not controlled by the settings in the FireFox browser or why he does not play in Internet Explorer?

Thank you

David

Works in IE6 for me, but I don't really see the point. Audio playback will automatically excited visitors to listen to the music. If the message is important, the visitors with their audio turned off or down he will miss. It does not really add value IMO.

  • Major problem with Muse site works only in Internet Explorer

    The site loads very well in another browser, but doesn't load at all in Internet Explorer. I'm on a Mac and do not use IE but when I load the site in a browser test I get this error: "JavaScript Expection: error calling the function switch: error: invalid argument".

    Noting all the site load.  We just went live with this site today and many people try to use IE, so I'm in a panic to find a solution.  I searched and seem similar problems but have not found a solution that works for me. Any help would be appreciated.

    The site is: www.palmvista.church

    Thanks for your help.

    IE is notoriously badly to deal with malformed hyperlinks. Other browsers ignore silently. IE shake its cookies and often after the hyperlink problem has been treated properly. I suspect therefore that there is an incorrect hyperlink on your page.

    In the 'Useful links' section, the hyperlink on 'FAQ' seems to be malformed. Try to remove that link and add a valid link, then re-publish/re-upload the site to test on IE. Which may, or may not, be the cause. But it's the first thing to try.

  • inside your fix it looks to below:

    In addition, you might also want to rethink your design. Construction of a navigation bar with absolute divs is a bad design and won't have problems. Such as... try placing the cursor on the menu products... link will open then without dragging the mouse in the menu to continue to move the mouse to the left or right (home or news & links) links, you'll see that your context menu will not close and will remain open. To close it, you will need to place the cursor in the pop-up window and soar on the back. Just not very friendly. There are so many other options for navigation and you should really look into your options. Good luck.

  • Navigation bar links work only in Internet Explorer 7

    Hey people.  I have a site where he looks a lot like IE 8, Mozilla, Chrome, and Safari, but not in IE 7.

    The site is for an annual conference and I know that dozens of people who are going to be displayed to the site using IE 7 with no intention to upgrade.  Even my company uses IE 7 and that's how I learned this morning that the site works in it.  And then panic the value in... lol.

    I am actually trying to find a workaround for the real site right now... so this link below is actually on the partially completed test site, I've been working on until I finished it and it flies.

    I DON'T know how to code HTML... so I think with a possible workaround.  I don't want to have Javascript code tries to recognize the browser and sending people to IE7 to a slightly different site... but if it's the only way, then it will have to do.

    Any ideas?  I've already called the helpdesk Adobe and they have not an idea... told me to throw it here and see what happens :-)

    Hello

    You have two image empty frames on the master page covering the elements of two image albums. It is very likely one (or two) of these frameworks have also been covering the major part of your horizontal menu of your previous version (which was blocking the mouse clicks in IE7).

    You can find either select all (Ctrl + A) on the master page or clicking and dragging to the top about halfway down the page. Removing these empty picture frames solves the problem.

    Thank you

  • FlashVideo works only in Internet Explorer on PC

    Hello

    I'll put together a site that includes a simple Flash animation. The film works very well in all the browsers on Mac (although I can't confirm whether or not that includes it is to say, as I did on my system even though she was always accompanied by Microfsoft!).

    On our Windows PC, however, although the film is very well in Firefox, it does not in IE 8. The strange thing is, I have visited other sites in IE and it runs Flash movies - just not this Flash animation.

    I use Flash CS3 on Mac and I saved the movie in Flash Player 8 and Flash Player 9 without success. The file uses ActionScript 2.0.

    I uninstalled Flash on the PC and reinstalled the latest versions, again without success.

    Does anyone have experience of this and maybe have any suggestions as to what I can try next? I'm quickly running out of ideas.

    Thanks much for any help.

    Usually, when a browser has a problem playing a Flash file, it is due the embed code that is used in the html page.  You can compare your code with code from another page to see what the differences are there?  You should let Flash generates the embed code rather than to use other software to do if that's what you were doing.  Just a page html and publkish Flash, test this page in your browsers and if it works, copy / paste this code instead of what you have now.

  • getURL - works only in Internet Explorer

    I have a file at the root of a web server and before the Flash Player 9 (I think this is the culprit), I was able to connect just the following code to a button and download the file (it will work in Mozilla browsers, but not IE):

    getURL ("file.zip#/", _blank);
    }

    Any ideas?

    I removed _blank and it works now.

  • JavaScript works only in Internet Explorer

    Hello world

    I have this table:
    create table workers(
    worker_id number,
    status varchar2(1));
    I have this data
    insert into workers values(1,'N');
    insert into workers values(2,'Y');
    commit;
    Now I have this query on my report and point: P1_WORKER_ID (hidden):
    select worker_id,
    CASE
    when status = 'N' then
    <ahref=" javascript:P1_WORKER_ID.value='||worker_id||';doSubmit(''ACTIVE'');"><img src="#IMAGE_PREFIX#error.gif"/></a>

    I have 2 processes (process of PL/SQL) with: ASK = 'ACTIVE' or: ASK = 'INACTIVE', will change the status of the worker.

    When I'm with Firefox, it toggles the images, update status and the image correctly. But in IE it give me this error:

    P1_WORKER_ID is not defined

    Help?

    P.S. 1. I have the enable Javascript in the Tools/Security

    Nested double quotes break javascript. Use single quotes around P1_WORKER_ID you have around ACTIVE.
