Update your video card drivers. Bring:

    1. site of the device mftr. ; OR
    2. site of the card mother mftr. If the material is on board; OR
    3. website of the OEM manufacturer for your specific machine if you have a PC OEM (HP, Dell, Sony, etc.).

Read the installation instructions on the Web site where you get the drivers.

To find out what hardware is in your computer:

    1. read all documentation that you got when you purchased the computer.
    2. If the computer is OEM, access the site Web of the OEM for your specific model machine and look at the specs (you'll be there to get the drivers anyway)
    3. download, install and run a program of inventory of the free system like Belarc Advisor or System Information for Windows.

  • I just open WMP after several days, and the files do not load. The message says that the search for media files.

I opened the Windows Media Player after several days of not to use.  Files won't load.  It is said that there is no element in the library.  I'm going to add to the library, and there is nothing there.  I add places to watch, say OK and leave.  When I come back it is empty again.  How can I return my library and playlists?

Sounds like a corrupt media library that can be fixed by resetting it. To reset, follow the instructions for WMP 11 Vista at http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#medialibrary . Tim Baets

    Hello

I'm having a problem with my Windows XP Home Edition lose an output audio and returning to its display go back to a previous version.

    Scenario:
-J' have VPN connect to my network to work and then remote desktop for my work machine.
-After the closure of the Office remotely and disconnect the VPN, I no longer hear any sound. YouTube, WMP, Rhapsody and system sounds don't work anymore.

    Scenario:
-Possibly associated with VPN/remote desktop as well
-The taskbar menus / deform slightly and return to the old regime. It looks like in Windows 95/98/2000 when looking at the screen.
-I do not know what causes this, but usually not noticed after being there for a while, long enough for the screensaver to be launched on.

    What I tried:
-Scenario 1: unplug my speakers to the machine, by searching for driver errors in the Control Panel, looking for driver updates, turning the speakers off tension.
    -Workaround solution: restart Machine

    -Scenario 2: nothing

~ 3 months ago, I had an infection, which I thought that I solved it with Malwarebytes or Avast. Other FREE antivirus/anti(fill in) suggestions?

    Hi, TR-79,

Acer - voice volume to low during DVD playback

During playback of DVDs in Acer Arcade, the audio output for the voice is quite low, yet the other noises are at normal volume.

    1. Start the computer, allowing the computer to boot completely.

  • Why Windows Media Player in W7 duplicate audio files apparently without input from me

It's pretty simple. I have a PC with i5 processor and run W7 home edition. For some reason, unbeknownst to me WMP duplicates now so ripped audio files from a CD. Sometimes it is incompatible with only about 90% of the titles in doubles and it doesn't happen immediately. After that the days of non-use, I open WMP to find a disc that I thought had apparently escaped, magically duplicate. Indeed strange events. I can't comment on downloads on the net that I do not use this source. Anyone can shed light on the issue?

    Rod Armstrong

    Hi Rod,

1 are - that these duplicates reflect while ripping CDs with Windows Media Player?

2 did you do changes on the computer before the show?

First, check if there are different entries for the same media on your computer. If a song or a file is saved two times he can show you a duplicate because they are located in two different places.

Method 1: I would recommend you to rebuild the database of Windows Media Player and see if the problem is resolved.

    Here's how:

To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. exit Windows Media Player.

    b. click Start, click run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Playerand then click OK.

    c. Select all files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    d. restart Windows Media Player.

Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

Method 2: If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files.

To do this, follow these steps:

    a. exit Windows Media Player.

    b. click Start, click run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoftand then click OK.

    c. Select the Media Player folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

    d. restart Windows Media Player.

  • Citrix receiver does not work on ver 30.0.

Receiver Citrix (ICA client) does not work on ver 30.0. Request do not start when you click citrix links in the website of the company. Worked fine until worm 29.1. Changed the version back to worm 29.1 works fine now.

Three suggestions based on the experience of other users with Firefox 30 Citrix:

    (1) change the permissions of the plugin.

Firefox 30 past most of the plugins "Always turned on" - allowing any site to use - to "ask to activate" - requiring sites to get your permission to use them. For some plugins, this setting is not working properly and you need to restore.

To do this, open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click on Plugins. Search for Citrix and change to ' activate ' "always enable". Then try Citrix again in a new window (or exit and restart Firefox).

See: updated for Firefox 30.0 now Citrix Receiver does not open.

    (2) If you have an older version of the plugin, you may need to be updated.

See: Firefox 30 will not organize the Application of ICA when you use Citrix receiver 4

    (3) check that Citrix content using the desired plugin/application.

See: use Citrix Receiver with Firefox to connect to the VDI 30, he fails.

  • "Use current Page" to save the Home/tab pages is gray, even though I have a new install of ver 22 without adding plugins or extensions. How can I fix it?

When I try to save my pages / tabs, I can not, because this option is grayed out. I even uninstalled FF with Revo Uninstaller completely reinstalled without new plugins or extensions, and it remains greyed out. The only thing I can do is pin the tabs, but I wish to use this option. If I can't, I don't know whether its Firefox or malware or? Thanks in advance for any help. Windows 7 family Premium SP1, Firefox ver. 22

Thank you very much for your time and effort. It was not the solution, but I couldn't find a place to close the ticket/request. I discovered that I had pinned tabs, in doing so, it grayed out this option. Once I have this marking tabs, I was able to use the option ' use current Page/s. Thanks again for responding so quickly.

  • Download for Firefox wmp, attempts are unsuccessful

When I was unable to play a video on discovery education, I was invited to update the Firefox wmp plugin. I clicked on the links, download the file and then run install, but it does not seem to be downloaded, because I still can't play the video and there is no version of wmp listed under Tools, Plug-ins.

Hello, please try this: enter Subject: config in the bar firefox address (confirm the message information where it appears) & search for the preference named plugins.load_appdir_plugins. Double-click it and change its value to true (a restart of the browser may be needed later for the change to take effect).

  • What are the *.ver in TS2014 files

I build a few installers TestStand 2014 SP1 and noticed that in many of the installation and public directories there are files of type *.ver and I can't find anything in the help TestStand, Google, or here on the Web site of NOR.

Anyone know what here? for example:

    C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 2014 (32-bit)\Components\Models\ModelPlugins\Addons\PublicAddons.ver

Must I include in an installer for a custom with custom Plugins process model?

    Thank you!

You don't need to worry about the deployment.  .ver files are binary files that are used by the installer of the TestStand product, typically TestStand patches, to determine the version of the files that are on the system and finally to decide which files to update.  TestStand Deployment Utility manages versions of file for the entire generation and installers to fix using a separate mechanism (the information is stored in the TSD file), these are not required on computers deployment targets.

  • I would like to copy the time elapsed since WMP 11 and paste it into a Word document.

I would like to copy the time elapsed since WMP 11 and paste it into a Word document. I have this on several occasions, is there a way to shortcut this process through Autohotkey? Would appreciate any help at all!

    Hello

    1. What is the operating system installed on your computer?

Unfortunately, there is no shortcut key to copy the time elapsed since Windows Media Player.

You can use your favorite search engine to search for any third party software that accomplishes your request.

  • WMP 11 does not add info media songs torn. I checked all the settings.

I will try to be comprehensive and succinct.  I'm using WMP 11.  My OS: Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, SP2.

When I rip a CD WMP displays album art, the title of the song, the length, contributing, artist, composer, etc. etc.  But none of this media information is added to the song (MP3) files.

    I've been here:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/media-information-in-Windows-Media-Player-frequently-asked-questions

... and these read and followed the instructions.

    • How can update information for media in the library, I tell the player to update the file name of the article?
    • How can update information for media in the library, I tell the player to move the files to the appropriate artist and album on my computer files?

    The relevant parameters are:

    Options--> the Library tab

Section "media automatic information update for the file settings.

Checked: Retrieve additional information from the Internet, the "Replace all media information" option selected
UNchecked: Rename music files using rip music settings
UNchecked: rearrange music in rip music folder, using rip music settings
UNchecked: maintain my rating in stars as global ratings in files.

Here's the weird part.  When I look in the My Music folder, while the CD is being ripped up I see a new folder with the name of the album and in this folder, I can see the MP3 files with the names of the songs, but then something causes all files to be moved automatically in the unknown artist folder in a folder with this name format : "Unknown album (23/05/2013 AM 3-35-59).  In addition, the new folder with the name of the album automatically gets deleted.

I have downloaded and run this: MicrosoftFixit.WinMediaPlayer.Run.exe and chose the option to detect the problem and let me choose which ones to fix.  He finds these problems and I chose to fix them all.

    Corrupt recording script

-Reset jscript.dll and vscript.dll of registration

    Windows Media Player

-Reset the Windows Media Player library

The next time I opened WMP she had to find and add all my music files to the library again, but the problem was not fixed.  In fact, I ran fixit program later and found the same problems, so I don't know how accurate the fixit program is.

Any suggestions to solve the problem of information media?

    Thank you.

Update: I have uninstalled and then reinstalled WMP 11, but it made no difference.

I "solved" the problem, but I still don't know exactly what caused it.  I found that by unchecking the 'retrieve additional information on the Internet' option on the tab library, the problem disappeared.  However, I don't know if the problem is with the information THAT WMP is the recovery of the Internet, or with what WMP does with this information.

  • View full-screen media back to the small window after 20-30 minutes of play. WMP - 11, Classic, VLC, all media players.

Did you recently clean reinstall of the operating system, no malware present, all drivers up to date, no media questions before you reinstall, now, when playing video files in any format, on any media player, full-screen doesn't "stick", but she climbs to view more small window for no apparent reason.  I tried to temporarily turn off anything that might interfere: malware apps, anti-virus, auto updaters, etc., even all the processes which seemed sure to stop temporarily, but after about 20 to 30 minutes to play any video format (mpeg4, avi, DVD disc, etc., full screen will jump to the small window for no apparent reason. When the problem persisted I even downloaded fresh copies of WMP 11, WMP Classic and VLC, but no joy, screen size change continues to happen with all the players, all types of video files. I'm out of ideas. What could possibly be the cause?

[XP Home Edition, Service Pack 3, Intel 2.5 gHz, 1 GB Ram, 80 Gb HDD, SiS 661FX/GX Mirage Graphics... Yes, old, I know, but it worked well for me so far.]

Thank you for your response. I tried your suggestions but they do not solve the problem.  You did, however, lead me to looking at my system settings instead of the settings for the media players - behavior was going on with WMP 11, Media Player Classic and VLC.  I found that, I hope, will prove to be the solution: in Device Manager > Sound, video & Game Controllers > media Remotes > properties I found my video controller (mciavi32.dll) opened its properties > settings > watch the video of 'window' or 'full screen '.  I selected "full screen" and for extra measure of value WMP 11 always open it in full screen. I have not done a test yet further with these three players, but I hope that these parameters will cure the problem. Oh yes, I went to SiS, I already had the latest display driver, but I have downloaded/installed a new copy anyway, just to be certain that my old one was not corrupted in a non-obvious way.

Again, thank you for your help.
