"Workflow" DSLR for ideal rendering and exporting

I just finished my first project of 5 minutes in Premiere Pro CS6 with excellent results.  The source material is a Canon 7 d, and I work with unconverted native files.  Unfortunately, as the project had color correction with Magic Bullet looks, filters such as sharpness and layers of "fuzzy" of certain elements on the screen, the original compressed h264 export took nearly 7 hours.

A little research led to realize that I was better export a 'master' and the conversion outside of Premiere Pro.  So, what would be the best way to proceed?

Do I have to view my calendar and then choose export with 'match sequence settings' and 'use discovered?  Should not pre-made and export rather than "match sequence settings"?  If I pre-made and use of previews, the resulting quality will be the same if I surrender all by exporting?

Or is there another way?  Could I create preview with ProRes files and export to ProRes format?

Please help us to a delighted PP convert.

you have almost perfect it, but for a potential problem...

(1) import my native dslr images,

YES!

(2) create a sequence with settings and a setting of say ProRes 422, overview

YES - BUT ProRes is available on Mac. If you are on Windows, use AViD DNxHD or UtLossless.

(3) change my project with effects, etc.

YES!

(4) rendering the chronology, and

YES!

5) export to ProRes 422 'use previews' selected format? Then create files with this master of export ProRes codec.

A little.

Note even if you use the preview files, Apple QuickTime with ProRes support does not implement Smart Rendering so you decode and re-encode to the ProRes format (good vs copy the preview of a file already compressed through executives).

There is therefore really not backwards by a master ProRes and then deposited into the SOUL to do your other final products. Instead, I strongly recommend that you queue your sequence to Media Encoder. The first output can be ProRes422 (for archiving etc.) If you wish.

Right click and "duplicate" this original work in the SOUL and change the settings on each replication to create all output files you need. CS6 actually has a very nice interface. Doing it this way was more than the Mercury playback engine (IE nVidia CUDA MPE) will make all your resize for you - that is much faster (as 10 x) to open the master file of ProRes in SOUL and creation of files out there.

Make sure that you always have the "use previews' enabled for all cloned jobs.

Kind regards

  • Subject: Speed video rendering and export in Adobe Premiere CC 2014

I did some research on this point - and I've read about the different ways to do it - but at the end of the day... my videos still take some time to export (10-minute video will take 30 to 40 minutes to export)

I recently bought a new MacBook Pro with a 2.5 Quad core i7 processor... 16 GB of ram and an AMD Radeon r9 M370x 2 GB video card.

Videos should be much faster with this alone, but they go to a slower speed. I know people who have similar videos, treatment within 4-5 minutes.

Now, the video is filmed in 1980 x 1080, I think... I would like to export to 1280 x 720... There is not much I can do...

I tried to lower the speed of transmission of about 1, which decreases the size of the spectacular video... and I've even limited to one pass.

I don't want to sacrifice the extreme video quality to win 2 minutes of processing time (down from 40 minutes to 38 minutes)

What can I do to speed up rendering and exporting in the sequence settings?

File > project settings > general.

  • Rendering and export failed with an unknown error because of the color of Lumetri?

I am rendering & export failures with an 'unknown error' code within Premiere Pro and Media Encoder.  I think that the problem is related to the Lumetri color filter that is widely used in all of the timeline.  There are hundreds of clips and each clip has 2-4 color filters Lumetri applied.  Each clip also has the red giant Cosmo and filter FilmConvert Pro 2.36.1 coming to overlap (visually underneath by order of effects filters Panel) all filters from Lumetri.  The reason why I believe that the problem is related to the Lumetri color filter is that it is the first time that I use.  Previously, I used the filter red giant Colorista III coloring, but last week decided to try using the Lumetri color for the same effect.

Please let me know if anyone has had similar experiences, what were their solutions, or if someone has some ideas on how to solve this problem.  I would really appreciate the help!

    System details:

    Windows Pro 64-bit 10

    Intel i7 5960 X 8-core 3.0GHz (cooled water and too quick to 4.2 GHz)

    64GB 2133 MHz DRAM (non-ECC)

2 x Nvidia GTX 980 4 GB GPUs (not in SLI)

Intel 750 PCIe 400 GB SSD (for BONES)

SSD Pro 1 TB Samsung 840 (for Adobe Cache)

SSD Pro 1 TB Samsung 840 (for export)

Matrix RAID 5 of 48 TB (eight 6 TB HDs with MegaRAID, LSI 9361-8i card) (for media)

    Information on the timeline:

1920 x 1080 (original video files are MP4 UHD scaled down by 50% in the timeline)

    23.976 fps

    CUDA Mercury Render Engine

    Length of the sequence: 14:30

I have discovered a workaround of sorts.  I noticed that when rendered in PP he would make progress before a failure (the green line that precedes the timeline would get a little longer).  If I saved this progress and rebooted the system, then tried to make it again, it would make a little further.  I've done this dozens of times for 4 hours make completely a 14:30 long sequence.

I noticed doing this routine that my CPU was maxxed on all rendered.  Resource monitor reported the use of CPU to 143% continuous (all other indicators RAM, disk speed, etc. were well under their maximums).  This brings me to suspect that maybe there is a problem with overheating of the CPU.  But who would be closed for the entire system, correct?

Once the entire sequence has been made (all the green lines above clips) I tried export by using the "Use preview files" option enabled.  Failure again.  I tried export uncompressed AVI, Quicktimes and PNG sequences.  All have failed.  I tried to export to PP as well as TEA.  The two have not.  I tried to export with option 'To make maximum quality' is enabled.  Surprisingly, this product the longest time encoding managed (32 minutes before failure).  As by chance, using the option of MRQ kept my CPU loads sawtoothing between 100% and 75%, then maybe there's something to the CPU overheating theory?

In an ultimate attempt desperate to save my video project (looming deadlines!) I divided the sequence of Assembly in five servings (I cut on the melted white or fade-to-black transitions) and exported to each of them.  This copy export times within 20 minutes.  It worked.

I noticed this another Adobe Forums thread that seems to speak of the similar difficulties with effects of Lumetri in Creative Cloud 2015.  Perhaps the Lumetri effects are not ready for prime time?

    https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/1236018?start=0 & tstart = 0

Please let me know if anyone has any ideas on this.  In the meantime, I'll wind up this project and never use Lumetri effects again.

    Hello Kevin,

Thank you for offering help to solve this problem.

I was able to export the majority of the sequence with all the Lumetri effects, red giant and FilmConvert mixed in clips.  After the sequence using the tedious method described above I segmented the sequence in the quarterfinals; all exported except one.  I divided it into two; Another exported doesn't have.  I cut half too, once again only half exported without failure.  I finally reduced the embarrassing part until a second sequence clips 35; an interview with green screen with superimposed titles and superposition of b-roll clips.

I removed all the effects of the Lumetri of these clips and replaced by Red Giant Colorista III effects, which are very similar to the effect of Lumetri in the GUI and application.  The sequence made completely without "unknown error."  Then it was exported successfully (and used about 70% when compared to more CPU activity 110% with the Lumetri to export).

The difference would be that the effect of color of Lumetri has this YUV icon next to it in the effect controls panel?  Which means that YUV?

The problem is perhaps not totally related to the color of Lumetri effect (as I said, I was able to export the majority of the 14:30 sequences use, although gradually by segmentation of the sequence into smaller portions), but if the move is a solution then I'll use it.

I lost a day to fix this.  If this thread is useful to someone else, then it was worthwhile.

  • 5.5 pro Pre closes during rendering and exporting

I worked on short, 1 min 30 to 2 min, testimonies, including tracks for logo, title, Matt and real media. This requires changes keyframing scale, position, correction of 3 colours, gobos and dissemination. Hello

I'm trying to render and export a clip 4 minutes of GoPro in first Pro CC. Only used filters are stabilizer Warp and distortion (parameter GoPro) Correction lens.

Render or export of this 4 minute clip takes 8 to 10 hours. Even just trying to return a part of 17 seconds of the clip takes at least 40 minutes. Even when you try to export by the SOUL. What I am doing wrong? I do something wrong, that otherwise it is just crazy.

    The system is:

The effect of lens distortion is not accelerated, so that slow AMD processor must carry the burden, and it shows in your time-exporters.

  • Not will not be rendered and export audio?

Whenever I visit the clip, the clip plays fine but the sound is not there. I checked several times if audio has been set for rendering, but it isn't still here on the video renderer. Why?

Version: Adobe After effect CS6 (2015)

There is a really annoying bug in the version of After Effects 13.5.1 where it will not be rendered audio in AVI or WAV format. You have three options:

    • Make a MOV
    • Rendering using Adobe Media Encoder
    • Open your project in 2014 CC file to render (bonus: you can render with multiprocessing can be faster)

Oh yes, or you can wait until the update is scheduled for the end of the month. So... oven solutions, but that last seems like a fool.

performance is better because of the air sdk.

How can 3, you Batch Export of Clips from the event viewer in Final Cut? For now I see that you are limited to 1 export clip in Event Viewer that is located in the library.

    1. Yes. The goal is to select a rendering parameter that is suited to your hardware and your needs. You can render in low quality if you want to help the reading or very high quality for more details in the picture, especially if you work in the UHD formats.

    2 No.

    3. There is no real batch export feature. You can export in order by putting in place a default destination and export quickly with a shortcut, a file after the other. Do not wait for each file to be completed. There is also a utility called exporting Clip that might help if you need to export files. Or you can use the compressor.

  • Random green frames in rendered first and export of files

    Hello!

I just put a new MacBook Pro and I have a problem of rendering in first CC. Random green frames appear sporadically throughout my video. This is happening on my rendered calendar and in the exported file. It seems to affect clips with heavier color correction. What happens and how can solve this problem?

Here is a link to the video on Vimeo. You can see the Green frames to 00:04, 00:43, 01:03, 01:39 01:48, 01:58 and 02:25.

I'm editing on first CC. Most of the clips have effects heavy work (movement, fast color corrector, RGB and overlay for vignetting circle curves). All the project files and images are stored on a WD My Passport external 2 TB Portable USB 3.0

The film is a set of 5 D Mark III for 1080 p IPB, so files are .movs.

Export to the H.264 format with the Vimeo HD 1080 p 23.976 preset, without changing the settings predefined. But again, the problem product also prior to export, after on the timeline.

    Fixed a problem!

Someone from the support team Adobe asked me to change the rendering in software only mode engine. This can be changed under file > project settings > General. Specifically, I changed Mercury Playback Engine acceleration GPU (Open CL) to Mercury Playback Engine software only. I deleted the old files of rendering and re-exported with no other problems.

    Success!

  • not sure, instruments, file types and export for lightroom

    Hello:

I am a new user of LR and new to the process of dam. I'm confused about something that is without doubt essential and fundamental in this process. My computer configuration is two internal drives (car and a working archive photo), as well as the external backup and burn to dvd. Using LR for image adjustment and catalog management (do not use Photoshop).  I will be the conversion to DNG on ingestion for raw. I add metadata loose on ingestion and then align the images in LR to rate images and making adjustments to the base image. These images are then archived that original.

Now, if I do work extra on these archived images (addl. setting of the image or metadata) these images would consider instruments?  If so, I would then go to export in LR to add (for example, masterfile, master.dng or .tif) file name before you send, for example, a derviative work file before sending it to the archive?

Also, if I send you these archival footage, but do not send email or web, do I need to change the DNG to another type of file (for example, tif)?

Finally, I have a few old jpegs on cards with media that I want to put in this process. Is there something special I need to do in the treatment of these images against dealing with the raw?

I read the dam book as well as reading through various resources online, but this process is quite confusing for a beginner.

    Please answer at any time.

    Thank you

    Joe.

Lightroom is a non-destructive Editor. This may be different from what you have used in the past.

With publishers not destructive, there is no concept of original and derivative (except if you choose to use a 2nd program like Photoshop, it seems that you do not intend to do). With an editor not destructive, you make your changes in the Editor (Development Module), and these instructions are stored in Lightroom as a 'recipe' and not as a separate file on your hard drive. These instructions on your changes are applied whenever you use Lightroom to display your image (or whenever you choose to print from Lightroom do a LR slidesehow or make a web page of LR). The original is completely unchanged and there is no export derived retouched or registration. Therefore, there is no need to separate the original and edited photo, because there is no retouched saved. Additional changes in Lightroom are managed the same, original remains unchanged, your changes are saved and there is no picture derived or recorded.

The only time wherever you can save a copy of the picture is that if you wanted a copy for one end non-Lightroom, in which case you use file-> export... in a 'temporary' folder to a file on disk, then you use the file created for any purpose non-Lightroom you have and once completed, you can delete the file in the temporary folder knowing that LR can recreate exactly if you need it again. If you want to print from LR, LR email, or create a webpage of LR or create a slideshow of LR, you need not create a photo exported.

Jpg and RAW, and DNG is that all treated the same to you, the user. Yes, there are internal differences that are not important to your workflow.

  • Just an exported bar-file for Q10, Z10, and necessary peripheral Alpha SDK native 10.1.0.338?

    Hello

Here's a simple question probably, but an answer would help me a lot.

I build an application against the new version of the native SDK (10.1.0.338) - the beta version for the features of Q.

Then I tested it with the SDK on Alpha device, Z10 (both 1280 x 768) and also of Q10 (720 x 720) and it works fine.

Then, I produced a bar file to export to the world of BB. My hypothesis is correct that I need a simple bar-file for all devices (Q10, Z10, Alpha device)?

Thank you very much in advance for your help and your best regards

    Andreas

That's the way I do now, so as far as I know, this should be sufficient.

  • How do the layout and export multiple images on a single sheet of paper for printing? [was: Luke H]

I'm something of a beginner with lightroom (and a little slow with the technology), so my question may seem Basic, but can someone tell me - is it possible to use the print module, then create a page with several photos on this topic for example a model (with different pictures of different sizes on this topic) and then export this whole (with all its photos) page as a file on my computer which means that I can take this single file to the printer, where they can print for me on one sheet? (whenever I do that he sends the photos individually, not on a page, and in their basic format without any changes that I made).

First of all, I would advise to check with the printer to see if you have understood correctly this requirement for tiff (because most of the laboratories prefer jpg).

If you really need bring TIFF and do have access to Photoshop or similar, you can use the function Jpg printing option as described above, save the file in jpg with a value of high quality (90 or 100) then import the jpg in LR and exporting in a 8-bit tiff (as jpg is always of 8-bit nothing would be gained by exporting a 16-bit tiff file). Loss of quality would be very small and invisible.
