  You need camera raw 6,7 & PSE10 for the 5 d mkiii. Otherwise, download and install the free Adobe DNG converter to convert your raw files to the universal Raw format files and Adobe will open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for uses in the software of the camera factory)

  In Photoshop CS 6 ex (cloud creative), when I open a Canon T3i DSLR RAW image it does not give the time that the photo was taken at the second, at the minute.  In my old Photoshop CS 3, raw images from Canon are identified at the second.

  For my work, I need to know the time when the image was shot at the second.

  Am I missing a setting or something?

  I was able to solve this problem.

  I use Mac Mac OS; snow leopard and mountain lion.

  Soultion:

  In Mac OS: Click the date and time in the menu bar. Then go to 'open language and text... '. "in the box. Then go to the "Region" or "Formats" depending on your operating system. Click on "Times" and customize the settings for your own needs.

  This allows up to milliseconds for the Canon RAW EXIF time.

  I don't have lightroom 5.7 purchased outright, to pay each month and use windows 8, I updated the update of raw and dng to version 9.

  I bought a canon eos m3 and shoot in raw and lightroom will not open them they are cr2 files, read I need lightroom 6 or later version is this correct as all my other canon DSLR digital raw files open very well?

  Google Adobe DNG converter 9.5.1.

  Download it from the Adobe website and install it. Copy your images to a folder on your hard disk that you create. Probably in the same folder structure all your images are stored in. By default, which would be under your user name > images folder, but it can be anywhere and any name.

  Run the converter program and point to this folder, look through all the options of the converter program and choose those that are best for you and click on the button to convert.

  Other people have the same problems. But I also heard people now having this problem.

  Could you Adobe experts please try and help us in this regard. I'll soon put my camera and can not have editing software that will work with the RAW files.

  Specifically, the 7 d has been supported since Camera Raw 5.6 - so elements took over the 7 d out of the box since version 9.

  If you really mean the 7 d later Mark II then who argued since Camera Raw 8.7 - elements then 13 and later.

  It doesn't look like Camera Raw 9.1 is compatible with Photoshop elements 13. But you can download the 9.1 DNG Converter and create DNG copies that work with Photoshop Elements.

  The Raw of Canon T6i files are supported in Photoshop CC2015 which includes Camera Raw 9.1.1

  However, you would not be able to install this patch for Photoshop Elements 9 as it is an older version on Photoshop Elements and it does not support T6i Cannon

  The answer lies in this faq:

  PSE12 cannot be updated to the required version of ACR, 8.2, you need PSE13.

  This faq has links to see the whichACR version are necessary for a camera and which is supported by your version of elements.

  I myself CS5.5 and now I bought the Canon 6 d, but that Camera Raw update is not compatible Canon 6 d RAW files (CR2). What is the problem?

  This device is not supported for CS5.5.

  Support 6 d Canon came with the 7.3 version which works with CS6.
