Now, every time I create a layer mask, or try to work on a Photoshop freezes completely, forcing me to restart and (most of the time unless I have record EACH step) start of a scratch. Which is pretty much annoying... any suggestions?

  I work with masks in CS 4 and use the brush to create a mask of several parts of my picture. How can I configure my software so that the part I'm masking appears on the screen that I paint, instead of just the area of mask on the adjustment layer?

  Not sure I understand your question, but the typical process if you are using an adjustment layer, who appears with her own mask, is as follows:

  Open your mage and this seems to be your background layer. Click on your desired setting (say, hue/saturation, for example) and and make the changes you want. The image on the screen reflects those changes across the image. Now, select your brush tool and set its characteristics, be sure that the foreground color is set to black, make sure that the adjustment layer is selected (not the background layer) in the layers palette and make sure that the mask is selected in the adjustment layer by clicking on the thumbnail of the mask. Using your paint brush the areas to protect the adjustment. The painted areas will return to their original aspect of the hue/saturation and the corresponding surfaces becomes black in the thumbnail of the mask.

  Your best approximation is CREATE TYPE, but their is nothing of what is a 100% adjustment.

  For example, if you create a domain with a check constraint you need to implement than separately on each table.

• 28 Firefox no longer works with Gmail and Google Search

  Using Firefox 28 and after a few minutes, that Gmail doesn't work anymore and Google search is just like his work for about 30 seconds and then does nothing.   Sound your layer mask.  This is not completely its not completely masking the area.  The black area is not 100% black his only reduce the transparency of the atea sahpe filling.  Just turn off the visibility of the cyan shape layer you will see that it has nothing to do with that layer and its surly white not the projection of bottom layer.   I use a setting of levels on your layer mask to darken the dark. Look at the result.

  Hi all. I am relatively new to working with the CS3 version, and at this time I'm trying to reproduce other tutorials out there so that I can get a basic understanding of CS3. The piece I'm working on that now uses masking on a text layer to show an effect of "Star".
  
  I ran through the tutorial check several times, I have the same parameters and 'design' as the person who presents, and the mask works when I'm in CS3, if I test the movie, the only thing I see is the layer mask moving on top of the text and not the way he plays CS3.

  If you see the mask, he is not a layer mask. If you mean you see the effect of the mask, and it is hide a textfield, chances are it's a dynamic textfield. Change to a static textfield or incorporate the police inside.
