• Why my application is not available for download through App World on the Playbook?

  I wonder if anyone can help me how I can get my app - "Downtown Livermore' (http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/reviews/43728?lang=en) available for download on App world on the Playbook. It is available on Blackberry phones, but not on the playbook. I can't find an option to make

  available on the Playbook. Where can I configure that? I need to create a presentation of the new?

  When you create the new version, you must download the Playbook (.bar) bundle and to specify that this bundle will support the Tablet (as a platform). I believe you can download simultaneously bundle for smartphones and bundle for Playbook, however you can not change the existing version and add beams. So I would say to create a new version and download the two beams.

  Another option would be to create a new application called 'Your-app-name for Playbook', some developers prefer to do.

• BlackBerry Smartphones _ is not available for download from app world?

  I looked at my phone and she the Saturn which where 4 apps I bought through world app that was available updates. I go to appworld and goto my world and select one of these applications and it says upgrade is free, but when I select upgrade, it is said, for example, "MiaWallpaper is not available for download on the app world." What the hell is happening? It's really me off ticking. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

  Hi and welcome to the Forums!

  In some cases, it was discovered that updates (from got AppWorld apps) require additional steps in order to install the update. If the update will not install, please try this:

  1. Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight the app > BBKey > delete
  2. AppWorld > MyWorld > Login > highlight the app (if she shows at all, in any State) > BBKey > delete
  3. Use your PC (via the mass storage Mode) or your BB (via Media > BBKey > Explore) and find all references (folders, files) to the app delete everything you find. Search the memory of your device and your press card as well.

• Problems for download through App World - blackBerry Smartphones download stuck

  Hello. I searched the forums and do not see an answer to my particular problem so I hope someone can help out me. If there is already an answer to this question, please point me in the right direction. All the posts I've read mainly referred to apps stuck at "Starting download"... "and nothing on that I read the threads deadlock downloads already underway.

  Here's the problem:

  I tried to download AP Mobile the other day via App Workd (v. 1.1.0.24) and for some reason any download stagnates on 197 k 335 k and seems to be stuck here no matter what I try to do. I tried all the possible corrections that I have read in other posts, as do a battery pull, send me the link of the App World on my PC, etc, and nothing does. I tried to make a break and the resumption of a dozen times or more. I have more an option to download the app when I go to it via App World, through my camera. I tried to uninstall/reinstall App World. I don't know what else to do?

  Y at - it a magic trick hidden to cancel the download, or somehow out of it to restart?

  I was able to download/install any other applications without any problem. Even as this, we are still 'active '. Strange.

  Why App World gives users the possibility to cancel/restart in the first place?

  Does anyone have suggestions or options for me please?

  Hi, I do not use Appworld so I will be not specific, but please search again on this forum about the answers that talk about Appworld and clearing the cache of the AppWorld using Alt (sequence of the RST. That should erase the portion of Setup that you have already downloaded and let you start the installation from scratch.

  Has anyone seen the new guidelines for the image to be submitted with your application?

  It says an "icon" of 480 x 480 px. But looking at the elements recommended in App World now, most of them more like small billboards and is in a landscape format.  (I suppose that the probability to be featured are becoming thinner, but I was wondering...)

  Hello. When I go to BlackBerry App World > My World, I get the message "You have all the apps from App World installed." It certainly isn't true that I downloaded and installed a lot of apps in App World, including free RIM applications.

  Don't know not just if it is relelvant, but recently I bought a PlayBook and I am using the BlackBerry ID, but that shouldn't be a problem, right?

• Redirect to printer - works for some, not for others

  Hi VMWare community,.

  I have a weird situation on my setup using VMWare View VDI.  I run three separate through a VMWare View 3.0 Server connection profiles.  When connecting to A profile, no matter who I connect as the printer redirection works very well.  When I connect to the B profile, the printer redirection works very well.

  (I mean the printer redirection is when the customer is fully connected, can hit print in applications and it redirects to their remote printer (who sees in the local RDP session)).

  BUT... connection to the C profile leads to some interesting results.

  When I connect without going through security VMWare Server, by connecting directly to the display of connection to the server, the printer redirection works very well.  When I connect via the Security Server, is not...  OK, this isn't an absolute... When I connect like some users it works, some it doesn't.

  All users are configured in the same way in Active directory.  The users of the end computers are very similar, both using IE7 and Windows XP to connect...

  Somehow, there is a difference... any ideas on where I am missing the difference?

  Why don't you just run the full Client from the view on the PC?  No need for VPN - simply connect to the external URL can be solved for the security server if you open the appropriate ports on your firewall.  None of the required additional ports (443 and 80 maybe) than if you used only the view portal.

  I have clients that are running exactly as config and their at-home users to print to their local office of their virtual machine running in the data center.

• How to get auto-fill to work for applications not not the browser

  Not as long as I am with the browser Safari, but during a phone and go to an application, any application, like Netflix when I put in my email as part of the connection that I have to type out in plenty no matter how many apps i go to, my Samsung would provide auto-fill it in when I start to type.

  Yet once, it is NOT on so that in the web browser on the internet, but on the phone using all apps.

  Not all applications will allow an AutoFill, but I found that I can use a shortcut of ALT text to get my email in some applications. It will depend on the application itself. I went into settings > general > keyboards > text replacement and then entered my email address, then a 3-letter code. When in some applications you can enter the 3 letter code and it will replace as my email address.

  The code above to select the business tab in the menu once looked in Firefox, but not IE when URL contains the suffix #corporate.

  When I insert an "alert" to the variable "corporateRectangle" in Firefox it returns [HTMLObj] and in IE, it returns "null".

  The question is that the menu animation has a preloader.  Firefox ignores the preloader as IE treats the preloader as onLoad being full.  That is why the attempt to access the item ID is zero because it has not yet been loaded.

  I decided to approach the problem from a different point of view and read my bookmark of in animation.  This has proved to be a very simple solution once I realized that I had to put the code in the first frame of the animation NOT creationComplete or compositionReady.

• Applications for Smartphones blackBerry does not download with the bb app world

  I just got a new bb bold 9780. I get errors when I try to download apps. I've deleted and reinstalled world app bb twice, and that did not help. I am able to look for apps and click Download, then I get a series of errors:

  1. sometimes it is just about starting to download for hours/days

  2 legal, I get an error that says: this application not available for download on the bb app world (I even got this error when you try to download an update for the bb app world! lol)

  3. sometimes, I get an error message saying cannot connect to the bb app world, please check your connection

  My connection is good, as I can browse the internet without problem. There isn't any app problem individual because I have tried several apps.

  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  So, I found the solution!

  Basically it seems to be a problem in the world of bbapp. I know that I was using the right email and password I used several times to download new applications. This combination is no longer works somehow. To solve the problem simply:

  Sign up for a new world bbapp ID!

  That's all! You will need to use a new email address, so it's annoying, but it works.

  It's a very simple solution!

  The old e-mail/password combination is in no. man s land. Can't explain this part. Also, I can't explain why it didn't come with an error when I enter the password it is not working. It shows that I have registered, it just does not allow me to download anyting.

  In any case, can't complain too much because it's Aussie a simple solution.

  If you don't know how to register for a new BBappworld ID do the following:

  -Click on the bbappworld icon

  -Select the icon of my world

  -Click on the button of menu while in my world

  -Select disconnect

  -Select the icon for my new world

  -Scroll down to create a BlackBerry ID.

  That's all!

  My BBM has disappeared from the BB app world, even if I type Blackberry Messenger in the search engine of the app world it shows a few apps from third party bt not the BBM real application itself...

  I currently have 6.2.0.56 BBM version and therefore cannot be updated to BBM 7...

  A few weeks ago, BBM is available for download on App world bt, it was still 6.2.0.56 version not BBM 7. .and BBM 7 released by RIM in December. Now its gone compleletly.

  I will stay in India... If BBM 7 not made available to the Indian BB users by RIM? and when it will be available?

  Or there are some issues with App world?

  And also done BB travel works in India coz I know for cards is BB n traffic BB does not.

  The reason is that carriers in India have not agreed to support the voice feature of BBM again.

  You should complain to your mobile service providers.

  I bought its 1.0 effect (Soft TM) Appworld last summer. They are an upgrade to 2.0 and when I try to upgrade using App world on the device, I get a message indicating that its effect is not available for download through app world. If I go on App world site is here, then why can't download it. How to pass without having to pay for it. BTW, I'm a new Member of the forum.

  Missing the exact error message and complete you are seeing, we do some guess... Here's mine (if, that is, you are interested to solve this... If, instead, you leave BB, then you can ignore all this):

  • KB29501 'BlackBerry identity Setup error, please try again later' when you try to install an update for BlackBerry BlackBerry App World identity.
  • KB29300 "An identity BlackBerry update is required" message appears at the launch of BlackBerry App World 3.1
  • KB29613 The error "failed Installing BlackBerry identity. Please try again later. (80003)"appears in BlackBerry App World

  I hope that they contain something useful! There are also several existing threads on this site, which discuss exact error... your opinion of those who may prove useful, and a search of this website, by using the error message, error code or symptom, should reveal all the existing threads that are applicable to you.

  options of > device > application... do you see there?
  If so, return to home menu key and press on, select "Show all" and look in your records.
  If not, re - download by going to blackberry.com on your browser in the device.
