  I've seen great improvement in the performance of 64-bit on Windows 7. So, especially if you work in hi-def or AVCHD, I recommend the upgrade.

We loaded the operating system without using Acronis and have not had any problems since! I've also installed a WD Blue 1 TB HDD and rebuilt directories so that all libraries (Documents, photos, videos, etc.) are on the disk hard while the system is installed on the solid state drive. The upgrades were worth every penny! Now, my desktop HP 5 years computer works very well and the performance is very good even by today's standards. Boot times are much faster, too.

  This week I started having problems with my load of the battery 2. It took DAYS to load at this point, while previously the whole thing load pretty quickly.

  

  Is the battery #2 the dock? Is there something that can be done to analyze the battery and fix it, or means that it is endangered and needs replacement? Pretty unimpressive for a unit less than two years and as high-end as it's apparently supposed to be.

• Laptop suspended

  Hello everyone.

  I have an Alienware m17x r4. I got it for four years and its been absolutely brilliant. But these last three days its been acting weird vey. It starts on the first of these three days and hang just at the moment where he slowed. Then I had to do a hard reset, after which he would again start and then suspended in 10 minutes. After three days now, I reinstalled windows and video drivers nvidia. It will now boot and allow me to perform simple tasks, but it always crashes when I try to play a video on vlc media player (my default media player).

  Actually after I posted on this community. I reinstalled drivers nVidia via safe mode once again and after reinstalling windows I did and the nVidia drivers as what I had already done, but I thought it was worth a shot. Now its been perfectly fine. For the last five days.

  well, after playing around with this one for a bit it now never happens while I use it actively, but if I get ripped and didn't turn my computer off when I come back it is usually bsod'ed, so I was gone.  I tried to adjust my power save settings, I thought initially, it helped, but it seems that it has caused the amount of time it can idle before bsod increase some but it does always if left long alone enough.

  I tried an experiment where I left the team fortress 2 current running on the screen title and left alone for an hour, only one time, it has not BSODs have been left alone.

  HTML is still HTML.  You don't harm the code in your old sites if you switch to CC.

  HTML5 is more efficient and well worth learning and using now.

  I created a flash animation that includes a sound effect (mp3). The animation works well and the sound plays as expected. But at the end of the animation, the sound is played again. I check my swf file, but sometimes a preview flash. If anyone has experienced this?

  Not sure, but you could try adding a script framework at the end of your animation with this code:

  this.stopAllSounds ();

  This line should stop all sounds playing on this timeline, without affecting the Captivate. I can't guarantee that, but it's worth a try. Now, if your animation focuses on AS3, then the above will not work. After return to it is and I'll write the code for you, or do a search (it is not a single line/method).
