Issue of Helix - #2 battery not charging properly

This week I started having problems with my load of the battery 2. It took DAYS to load at this point, while previously the whole thing load pretty quickly.

Is the battery #2 the dock? Is there something that can be done to analyze the battery and fix it, or means that it is endangered and needs replacement? Pretty unimpressive for a unit less than two years and as high-end as it's apparently supposed to be.

I tried first, does not fix it, but a few days worth of powercycles and now it recharges correctly yet :/

  • Battery not charging - Thinkpad E531

    Dear Lenovo,

I have been using Windows 7, but I recently changed to Windows 8.1.

In Win7, I was able to install and use the Lenovo power management software, and I changed the threshold of 40 to 50% battery.

After I installed Win8.1, I realized there is not any software for Windows 8.1 E531 power management, so I can't charge my battery above 50%.

It seems that power management software makes somekind of related material change or do not remember my previous settings which I did in Win7.

How can I change the thresholds without reinstalling windows 7 and power management software?

Could you give me a link to a management software can be used for Windows 8.1 E531 Thinkpad power (which is 100% working)?

    Another solution?

    Thank you!

    Hi Tray86,

    Welcome to Lenovo Community!

  • BlackBerry Z10 battery not charging 100%, remains stuck at 84% to 91%

Battery not charging 100%, remains stuck at 84% to 91%.

    Hi all

I got my blackberry z10 not too long ago, and initially, the battery was not serious. A full charge is 100%.

Now, I'm having the problem of not to charge up to 100%. He shows me the icon of "lightning" up to about 84% to 91% where it stops and shows me the '=' sign as in fully charged or not charging.

I tried to restart the device and even turned off while loading see that fixes the problem or not, but nothing helped.

Someone here has the same experience? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

LEAVE it plugged into the wall charger (not USB > PC charger) for half an hour.

With the charger plugged, remove the battey a minute then reinsert it.

This will often reset the battery on the device reading to the actual battery charge.

  • Battery not charging on my Satellite A350-220

Hey, I have a whole list of problems (some of which can be fixed) on my laptop which is 5 months old, but let's start with the most urgent issue.

The battery charging all the time. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't, it's quite randomly... Sometimes, it even says that the load, but it is not. Just 30% for example.

I have windows 7 and newer bios. Tried rebooting, placing battery after boot with cable and no battery etc. Nothing seems to solve the problem. Tried to reinstall the drivers. Nothing.

    > How to make cell phone battery properly?
It is always easier to ask something like this as getting the right answer.
Be honest, what can you do about it? You can start your laptop into the power outlet only and when the operating system is loaded you can put the battery into battery charge hope starts at will.

If this will not help there is maybe a problem of electronic power supply and this must be fixed by authorized personnel only.

  • Unknown battery - not charging on Satellite P300D-11U

    HI -.

    I have a Satellite P300D-11U

I have now bought 3 xtra different batteries. None of them will work - labtop doesn't recogninze any of them.
Only the original supplied with the computer. When activated, it says Remaning time battery unknown / undetermined
If I plug the power supply cord, it is said:
No battery found, no charging current.

Each shop/manufactor said it is a BIOS problem. That the BIOS cannot communicate with the battery.
I installed the latest version of BIOS on 20 August 2008, no change - still the same.

Is there a new current BIOS, or other solutions?

    Sincerely, Bryan

Hmmm I have a U400 and the battery has been recognized after the BIOS update.
Maybe it s not a BIOS issue but simply your battery or motherboard is not allowed.

    The warranty is valid?
If Yes, you shouldn't t waste time and should contact the ASP in your country for a control of the laptop. The guarantee must cover everything!

    Good luck

Check with support from the manufacturer of their books online and the drivers and their forums system
(as applicable) for known issues. Some manufacturer issued BIOS and other updates to help the battery
    problems.

Control Panel control - plan change Options - power plans - power - advanced settings

    long to load).

In fact, what causes a lot of wear on a battery empties it too low on several occasions. With today
systems overload are not a problem.

Here are some tips to help and troubleshoot battery issues.

Old battery? Unplug the power to the computer - remove the battery and clean the contacts with a pencil
eraser (do not use this, if your battery is fine slots - just clean up the edges of the knife which fit in)
them and be careful). Batteries are old, or it could be a problem with the computer.
Check with the support of the machine system, and many of them have on line forums.

New Lithium-Ion type battery usually last longer if you do not unload then less than 30%
However on a laptop that not extend their life a lot. Best is to use the a/c adapter
    When this is possible.
