  As you pointed out, ttisql session, you can use AUTOCOMMIT to 0 to turn off the automatic validation feature.

  In the same way in ODBC applications, run the function SQLSetConnectOption with SQL_AUTOCOMMIT_OFF.

  For applications JDBC, Connection.setAutoCommit (false) method to disable the automatic validation feature.

• ApEx Workspace default Login stopped working?

  I have several workspaces. I'm sure that, up to what a couple of weeks whenever I opened my ApEx for the development of the field of the workspace would be pre-filled with the last workspace I was in. Now he is still by default in a particular workspace, 'imr_ws', but I usually work in "bud_ws".

  User name and the name of workspace the workspace login page fields are filled with the information stored in the cookie named ORA_WWV_REMEMBER_UN. This cookie is sent to your browser when you connect if the site administrator has defined the Set Workspace Cookie on Yes option by using apex_admin to Home > Service Management > Security.

  have you tried the default admin/password, if this does not work, you should check the logs to ensure that shared services is in place and executed entirely, also make sure that openldap is running.

• Problem with adding a new value to the default login Page

  I hope he's a simple guy, I added an element of the selection list to the standard login page (P101) to allow the user to select a FIELD as well as their username and password.
  When the next page appears and I am trying to retrieve the value which is held in the new domain, it has been deleted, but the values entered in the elements
  P101_USERNAME and P101_PASSWORD are always present.
  
  I can't understand why the values that held in points P101_USERNAME and P101_PASSWORD are always present, but P101_DOMAIN has been deleted.
  
  I tried to create value to the zero page and writing in the field of value using pl/sql and javascript, but as soon as the page is requested, the value is cleared.
  
  Any ideas how to get around this problem?

  I guess that your login page contains a process like this:

  I have a conventional installation of OAM, that you have NOT customized the login.jsp file, so using the default login.jsp

  Go here

  $MW_HOME/user_projects/domains/IAMDomain/servers/oam_server1/tmp/_WL_user/oam_server_11.1.2.0.0/dcyk8m/war/pages/js

  There is a file called loginJS.js

  Open this file and make this change, add a line after line number 123

  Add this line

  document.getElementById('username').focus ();

  Bounce OAM and you're good to go.

  A simple nice for someone I am sure... I only of remote access to the network kit and therefore cannot test access to the Console.

  I have a switch with the following configuration (excerpt)

  Cisco connection authentication (where cisco is representative of a password)

  NOTE: I have not username cisco password Admin in global config

  My question is: with this current config access Console will stop using the configuration of default Ganymede for authentication and don't allow access to the line of the console if the cisco password is specified? In this case that the password is not defined in a global access, would be denied?

  I've seen it before where you have exactly the same set up, but instead of referring to a value of password on the console line, you specify a list of names.  For example, authentication of connection local CONSOLE_USERS, which would make sense, because you would be referring to a group on the Ganymede server named CONSOLE_USERS and only users defined in this group could access through the console, while the ACS server is running!

  Any assistnace appreciated as I really want to get my head around ACS unconditionally

  Yes, David, you can safetly delete this "authentication to connect cisco" line con 0.

  About radius server take a look on:

  On the radius server, I recommend freeradius for these tests.

  (there much capacity of fever, then cisco ACS, but it can allow you easy test of the basic functions)

  I use RADIUS for authentication on IOS, and switches CAT OS. When I connect the IOS ones, coming directly to the activation of the mode.

  When I connect to the switch CAT OS with the same user, I get only in exec mode. So, I have to enter the mode activate manually with the "Ganymede user password" as "enable password.

  My wish is to connect directly to the activation of the mode with switches CAT!
