  I don't want to be cruel here, but you have lost a customer because you did not have a safe and efficient workflow implemented. I never do anything without saving files in versions 10-20 minutes. If your files are get damaged whenever save you them, then you have to analyze your project and to understand what you do which causes corruption. Working for 10 or 15 minutes, save the file, open the file, save it with a different version and start over when you encounter problems. This is the most important part of the business advice I can give you. As soon as you have any indication that there may be something wrong, contact your customer. Don't make excuses, don't blame the software, take full responsibility and just explain that you need more time or something in the project must change. I've never had a client refuses to give me some latitude or refuse to make adjustments to the project that would be completed in time.

• strange situation: index normally works, but preferences are missing

  I was wondering if anyone has seen this before:
  
  I have a couple of instances, one for development and one for production (Oracle XE).
  View CTX_USER_PREFERENCES and I see all the preferences, I defined that, in the case of dev I can question serve as parameters for the context index I defined.
  In the case of production, installed with EXP/IMP, there is no trace of these preferences, but context queries function normally. Also, if I generate the DDL for these clues I can see missing preferences are mentioned, but if I try to specify it in a new index, it tells me that there is no preference.

  This is normal behavior if you use exp/imp, see the note 468599.1 on the Support of Oracle. The index will continue to work, but a change will lead to errors (missing preference).

  If the preferences must be exported by hand, or use ctx_report.create_index_script to create a script for indexes.

• Strange situation interleaving

• Record of strange results

  I came across a strange situation with a movie file sent by one of our colleague. The file is attached here. The results have been achieved for non-existing steps in the sequence 'Test '. See the attached picture. There is no single step in the sequence 'Test' even then results are saved. Please help me understand why there are results in the absence of measures to the title sequence 'Test '. Is this a bug in the TS? or something else.

  Sequence is saved in f1 TS 2012 SP1.

  It's because someone changed the ResultList of your sub Test sequence.  They added 4 items in there.  Delete the and you will not see this more.

  TestStand basic rule: never touch Locals.ResultList manually!

• WRT110 - strange problem

  Toshiba - Win 7 x 64 - Home Edition - IP 192.168.1.104

  If you want to get the most out of your machine, get 3 GB PC5300, since PC4200-2 will be slowing down your system which is capable of running at speeds PC5300.

  Yes it is strange.

  The first octet must be the century + 100, and the second byte must be 100 + year.

  Then... (in the order of the those first followed by bad)...

  120 113 is equivalent to 2013

  120 121 equals 2021

  46,11 equals (46-100) = - 54 and (11-100) =-89... and there is no year-54-89

  Just check the other bits...

  The 3rd octet is the month, if you have months of 7, 6 and 1... they are ok.

  The 4th byte is the day, if you have days 2, 7 and 10... they are ok

  The 5th byte is time + 1, so you have 8 for everyone, which means 07:00,... they are all ok

  The 6th byte is the minutes + 1, if you have 1 for all those, which is 0 minutes... they are ok

  Octet 7 seconds + 1, if you have 1 for everyone, i.e. 0 seconds... they are ok

  So in terms of months to the time you have:

  July 2 07:00

  June 7 07:00

  10 January 07:00

  These part of all date/times are ok, it's just the century and year who were corrupt.

  Now, if I force the same corrupted data in my version of the same table using my function of date gross and put my NLS_DATE_FORMAT the same as yours... I can reproduce your problem...

  Your data are certainly corrupted, so everything you use to import or create these data is the problem.  It certainly isn't the way that Oracle is the treatment of the date, it's just the fact that corrupted data has been forced in.

  No, this is not a bug but its expected behavior. You use the authentication of the BONE , and this means, you don't need to use the password for the Sys user login.

  I suggested that Windows creates these users in the ora_dba group, but when I checked there is no such windows users. The only user with ora_dba is administrator.

  It's a hypothesis very badly done. The group is a group o/s and if the account of the o/s which is administrator, in your case is a part of this group, Oracle would not use the password.

• Strange behavior when adding narration

  

  I have a strange situation with this long project where add narration is possible in the clear gray area below the time line. I can then move the clips at the appropriate place. This gray area can be drawn from the right, but only at the current point.

  I can set up a small test project and everything works as advertised, but in this larger project, the microphone gets cut to the narrative as soon as the countdown is at #1 and no cutting is generated on the time line if I am everywhere inside the project except under this light gey area.

  I talked to support and they had no solution. I checked the project and recharged it but that didn't help either one.

  Any ideas what could be wrong?

  PS - if the WAB has give you problems, it can be a very useful tool. Not sure how it is documented in help, but Steve Grisetti it covers pretty well in his articles and books. In addition to limiting the rendering of the chronology, it can be used to collect information such as times for one part of the timeline, limitation export stocks, etc.

• Cannot open the iMessage without wifi

  Strange situation. I have an iPhone and the iPad.

  I accidentally deleted some messages of iMessage for the iPhone.

  I have not turned on the iPad in several months, so I don't know the messages I deleted are always on the iPad. I want to recover the contents of these messages. The iPad has wifi turn off - it is in airplane mode, so it will not synchronize with iCloud and lose messages.

With the computer always upward in the shop, after a week and make a ton of search in the forums, that we are all at a loss of what is happening. We tried to uninstall Firefox and reinstalling and that did not help. We also tried to uninstall Adobe Flash and reinstall a new version of it as well. None of them is the problem. Firefox reset as well didn't help either. Being that this happens only on one computer I think it's a very strange situation. Y at - there anyone out there who has an idea of what is happening and how to fix or is really something that can't be fixed? There is no virus on the system. Yes, I tried the update through the update button as well as trying to go directly to the site Adobe itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Well, I just thought about it all now, but I still want to thank you for your help. You'll love the answer too. I was literally looking at the plugin page and I saw 17.0.9.18 and I arrived just to scroll to the bottom of the page where he showed another application like 17.0.9.18. Guess what he listed as.   I have a bit of a strange situation.

  I bought an IMAC 27 the retina used 5 k with a SSD of 256. end of 2015 model - still under warranty.   Frame background... before I made the purchase, I called in the SN and the Apple representative said that she had a 1 TB fusion drive.  It turns out it's a SSD of 256 custom. Great machine, nice and fast, but the disk is too small to hold all the photos we have on site. I called apple and they said, it is easy to put the photos on a disc of love at first sight and it wouldn't make much a difference of access time for the photos as thunderbolt comms is actually faster than the speed of the drive SATA external drive.

  Now for what is strange.

  I don't want a hard drive off my IMAC clean looking nice.    I have however ethernet cable in the wall.

  Does anyone know if I can use a gigabit for thunder bolt on side installation mac converter, use the ethernet cable wall I allows me to drive to the top of my structured cabling Panel, then connect the drive to love at first sight with another converter gigabit/crush?
