  I would like to confirm if we read content DRM with Adobe Access on Samsung Smart TV (2013-SDK 4.5). So far, I played back the DRM content with success on the desktop and Android but I couldn't get it to work on the smart TV Samsung. I lowered my AIR application to the AIR version 2.6 (it worked fine on my desktop) and installed on the TV, but when I tried to play, I got error 3307 (internal error). This error occurred when trying to create DRM metadata by using _drmContentData = new DRMContentData (drmProtectedContent);

  Could someone please tell me if I can play content DRM Adobe Access on the Samsung Smart TV?

  According to my knowledge, we cannot play DRM content with Adobe Access using AIR, you can only do in RTMP/RTMPe using flash. AIr is supported with the Flash.

  I'm having the same problem.  I use Hotspot on the Sprint for Internet network on laptop and TV.  Hotspot and mobile connected properly.  On the first attempt, everything went well past and Samsung Smart Tv connected without any problem.  I could turn on Netflix and watch 2 movies.  The next day, I was unable to connect the TV to the Internet, but he has been connected to the Hotspot signal on phone.  Everything is good with HotSpot connection and worked for hours with Netflix.  I am obviously missing a step that I had done before.  The answer is Yes, Smart TV will connect to the hotspot.  Uncertain of the WIFI.  Hope that helps.  If you find new info, please let us know.

  There is no option in the Apple TV settings to learn a remote Bluetooth.

  I'm not able to get the display of macbook to smart tv via HDMI cable.  Here are some of the conclusions that I have. Can someone please shed some light on this weird question.

  Hmm. Have you tried to get your friend or someone connect to your Samsung Smart TV?  It does seem like your Macbook or the cable are the issue.

  Edit: actually re read your post. I think that to see the option detect go to Preferences > poster under view press on and hold down the option key. bottom right, it should appear.

  I had a fire of Amazon Kindle which was stolen.  I decided to upgrade to an iPad 2 air.  I used to use the screen of mirroring between my Kindle and my Samsung Smart TV and I just assumed that an incredibly more expensive upgrade would also have this simple feature but NOOOOOOooooo, Apple does not support mirroring of the screen!  Really, Apple?  Sometimes I feel that I am in the prison of Apple.

  Kindle and Samsung use the Android OS, then Yes you can be mirrored between the two devices. Apple uses iOS, Android not. They do not support mirroring for devices that are compatible with the iOS. If you want to mirror for your purchase of Samsung Smart TV and Apple TV.

  I just bought a Samsung smart TV and is now trying to connect to the internet via wifi. The problem is that it connects to the router, but not to the internet.

  Other things that do not have an internet connection:
  -Cable Ethernet to the router works fine.
  -Wifi TV through my phone (connected to the internet with 4 G) works very well.
  -Wifi to my neighbor Asus router works fine.
  -When it is connected to my WiFi router, the TV responds to the ping.
  -All other devices connected to my router have access to internet.

  So, the problem seems to be with my router...

  Things I've tried but no luck:
  -Change the DNS on my TV in the local to OpenDns or Google.
  -Change the DNS on my router to the foregoing.
  -L' MAC address of the TV to give a static IP than automatic.
  -Double check that the TV using the same wifi encryption as my router.
  -The port forwarding 80 and 433 on television port.
  -Reset the TV in order to clear its DNS cache (got help from Samsung support to do this).

  Could I change in the router? It would be nice not to have to factory reset the router, since I'm not looking forward to start all my settings

  I don't think that you have a choice other than a reset to the default values.

  try to set up a network of comments without security to see if the work, then try the different security settings

• Compatibility Mac with Samsung smart TV

  I have a Macbook Air (OS X 10.11.1) computer and a smart Samsung LED TV on the same network home wireless.  I want to be able to reflect the screen of the computer on the TV and use the TV to play video files and display photos stored on the computer.  I contacted Samsung and the representative said that the TV software is not currently compatible with OS X.  Are there any third party software that can solve this problem?   Looks like the product you're looking for the Apple TV.  This unit uses your wireless internet connection to listen to all that play on your Mac to your TV via a process called AirPlay.  The latest version also has its own dedicated applications.   Here is some information on Apple TV:

  As I mentioned earlier in this thread (15,17 and 37 positions), doesn't matter which drive Flash updates for Smart TV, if any, would come from the manufacturer, Adobe and certainly not some random site asking you to fill out a questionnaire before give you a file.  Please contact your support of manufacturer of Smart TVs.

  Please, please, please, do NOT go to some random website that asks you to fill out a questionnaire to get a file.  If you happen to get a file, it will likely contain a virus, malware, etc..  Adobe, or any legitimate manufacture, will display a file on some random site and ask you to complete the questionnaire in order to obtain the file.  It just opens your system to all kinds of bad things.  Please do not.

• Slow writes PERC H700 and Samsung 850 PRO SSD

  I saw several posts about this, but don't see a solution.

  I have a few servers R710 with H700 controllers. I have installed Samsung 1 TB SSD Pro 850 and see writing very slow compared to other performance SSD tested in one box, simply slow in general. SAMSUNG SSD are ~ 500 MB/s in both sense when connected to the stand-alone desktop computer, but ~ 500 MB/s read and ~ 45 MB/s, writes when it is connected to a server.

  1. 1 x SSD in RAID 0 - no redundancy, just to test the performance. I tried all combinations of memory cache writeback and read before possible setting (enabled, disabled) and has never had more than ~ 45 MB/s, writing.

  2. 6 x SSD in RAID 5 with all possible combinations of never getting write cache over ~ 110 MB/s, writing.

  3. 6 x SSD in RAID 10 yet one time all possible settings of the writeback cache - ~ 140 MB/s.

  Finally, I installed 120 GB Intel SSD and got more than 400 Mbps in both directions without worrying about the RAID or cached.

  What is the problem with the H700 and Samsung SSD controllers? No one knows how to fix?

  Any other R710 compatible controller, which do not have this problem? Might be able, JBOD? I also tried a stop the controller PCIe Board without a bit of luck (bottom of basket or any compatibility issues)

  The controller is a latest firmware and the BIOS and other components. Used Dell Repository Manager iDRAC discovery and the ISO bootable to update everything.

  SAMSUNG SSD are on a latest firmware as well.

  The Samsung 850 Pro SSD are not validated or certified to work with controllers from Dell, and as such, there is an incompatibility of communication between readers and the controller at the firmware level. Thus, you are required to achieve the unexpected poor read and write performance regardless of the controller cache settings. Consider using Dell certified readers.
