XML in a Table data. It is NOT easy for me :-(

Hi friends.

I have a table with 2 rows and three columns.

The titles are at the forefront and they are: software - license - Date of expiry

And the values are supposed to be in 2nd place.

I have a text called 'Customer' field

I want to have an XML file that is linked to my PDF file. This XML file must contain all my clients databases, something like this:

Alfred:

Software: Antivirus

License: personal

Expiration: 2 years

Emily:

Software: firewall

License: Pro

Expires: 3 years

And so on with all my clients.

I need the field text called 'Customer' to display all possible clients on my XML (drop menu, maybe) file so I can choose a customer (Alfred and Emily in this example)

And most of all... I need the table either automatically filled in according to the selected customer.

If I choose "Alfred", then the number of the line 2 should be supplemented with "Personal-Antivirus-2 Years", each column, a field.

I'm really confused.

Can you help me, please? Thank you and best regards.

You guessed it... It is will be the easiest way to manage in this scenario.

Have the data integrated into Acrobat and then send the file to users.

Whenever there is a change in the XML data, you need to re - import the XML file and save the file.

When I said "hardcode the values in the PDF file", the drop-down menus in the PDF file will have values populated means design time itself. You can do this either type the values in the property or important data XML of Acrobat.

I hope this helps to answer your requirements...

Let me know if you have any questions go to this approach.

Thank you

Srini

    Need for XML output is attached

    You don't have to try things at random, all of this is well documented, with examples:

    Generate XML from the database data

    Your query, although not correct, returns two columns. That's why Oracle is complaining when you try to search in a single variable.

    Not tested, but the following should be close to what you want:

    DECLARE

      l_file_name      varchar2(30) := 'TEST_XML.xml';
      l_file_path      varchar2(30) := 'CMDB_DIR'; -- you probably want uppercase here
      l_xmldoc         clob;

    BEGIN

      select '' ||
             xmlserialize(document

    It seems that there is a problem reported on the DIT that was refitted with internal BlackBerry MKS defect tracking system. Until this issue is reviewed by our internal teams, please use the solution suggested by the Rapporteur for the question by introducing an "if" statement before inserting data to the DataModel:

                    if (data.name) {
                        empDataModel.insert(data);
                    } else {
                        empDataModel.insertList(data);
                    }

  • Data binding does not seem to work

    I have a report with 3 queries - a mother and two children. (In fact, there are more than 2 children, but only 2 of them are at the origin of the problem.) The current version of the report uses frames/repetition, overlapping frames and fields for each request of the child, which makes it almost impossible to change - and I need to change.

    I wrote a query that joins the two children in a single request. It works in SQL * more when I add the where clause that expected be added by data - links, but when I run the report I get the same results as when I run it in SQL * Plus without the data where a clause link. So it seems data links do not work for this game of parent/child of queries.

    No idea why? (Reports 6i)

    It is certain that data binding is the problem. I did the new 'child' an independent query, adding where clause to the query and deletion of data links between the parent and the child, and that is work - at least for the case where the parent returns a single record. I really need that data links work well, then re - asks the child for each parent. On the other hand, report editor showed a strange icon on the request of the child. It seemed to me the icon of data link with a slash through it--and he disappeared when I deleted the data bindings, so I'm sure that the icon showed that data links were not working. He didn't explain why.

    Hello

    In my opinion, your configuration is good, but there is something that you can check. Access the wireless network connection properties. There is option this connection uses the following items and the inside should be sharing of files and printers for Microsoft Networks.
    If this isn't the case, you can add it. Click the button install.

    After that, start the Explorer and choose any folder. With the right click of the mouse, there is the option sharing and security. Share this folder must be selected.

    Try to please and let me know if you have any success.

    Good luck!

  • Loading XML into the relational Table data

    Hello

    I get a generated XML file to other tools (Windows), I am trying to create a Linux shell script that will gather the necessary XML file to my Linux server, then ask Oracle to use this file to load the XML data into a relational table. This activity and the data will be needed on an ongoing basis.

    I tried two ways. First, I loaded the XML document into the database and tried to extract the data directly from the document, but it does not work. Now I want to try to read the data directly from the file on the server through select, however I don't get all the returned data. In the Select statement below, I am trying to query the data to see what is returned for my tests.

    Create Table ci_results_table (transactionID Varchar2 (100), //transactionID should be PrimaryKey but became errors in test of insert, PK so deleted NULL value)

    message Varchar2 (200),

    This Varchar2 (50).

    XMLType of the ProcessedDate,

    status Varchar2 (50).

    sourceFile VarChar2 (100));

    Select x.*

    from XMLTable)

    ' TSPLoadResults/results '.

    PASSAGE xmltype (bfilename('CMDB_DEVADHOCRESULTS_DIR','LoadResults-HP_146.results.xml'), nls_charset_id ('AL32UTF8'))

    COLUMNS

    transactionID PATH Varchar2 (100) 'TransactionID '.

    Result XMLType PATH 'result ',.

    Message Varchar2 (200) PATH "Message."

    PrimaryKey Varchar2 (50) PATH "PrimaryKey"

    Date of ProcessedDate path "ProcessedDate."

    Status Varchar2 (50) PATH "Status."

    SourceFile VarChar2 (100) PATH "SourceFileName.

    ) x

    ;

    Eventually, I'll have to build on that to limit the returned data to records where SourceFileName is like '% PA' and insert what is returned in to the ci_results_table. Attached is an example of the XML results file I am trying to load, it is named "ResultsTransformedtoUnix" because I used dos2Unix to convert Unix which can be good or bad. (I send the output file must be converted to the format BACK until the other application can read). Original (before converting Unix) file named in the script is also attached.

    Help, please. Thank you!

    Hello

    I see some bad things in your query.

    (1) obvious one, explaining why you get all the data: there is a typing error in the XQuery expression, there 'result' not'slead.

    (2) ProcessedDate can be extracted as a date (at least not directly) because it actually represents a timestamp, use the TIMESTAMP WITH time ZONE HOURS and cast back to DATE data type in the SELECT clause

    (3) transactionID is an attribute, it must be accessible with ' @' (or ' attribute:' axis)

    (4) if the encoding of file really is ISO-8859-1 as suggested in the prologue, then do not use AL32UTF8 but the name of the corresponding character set: WE8ISO8859P1

    Here is the query to work:

    select x.transactionID
         , x.Message
         , x.Primarykey
         , cast(x.ProcessedDate as date) ProcessDate
         , x.Status
         , x.SourceFile
    from XMLTable(
           '/TSPLoadResults/Result'
           PASSING xmltype(bfilename('XML_DIR','LoadResults-HP_146.results.xml'), nls_charset_id('WE8ISO8859P1'))
           COLUMNS
             transactionID Varchar2(100)            PATH '@transactionID',
             Message       Varchar2(200)            PATH 'Message',
             PrimaryKey    Varchar2(50)             PATH 'PrimaryKey',
             ProcessedDate timestamp with time zone PATH 'ProcessedDate',
             Status        Varchar2(50)             PATH 'Status',
             SourceFile    VarChar2(100)            PATH 'SourceFileName'
         ) x
    ;

    Directly on the file using this query will only be decently (for large files) on 11.2.0.4 and beyond.

    On older versions, first load the file into a (temporary) XMLType column with binary XML storage and CHOOSE from there.

    because I used dos2Unix to convert Unix which can be good or bad.

    Hi all, I would like to have a check box that when checked, allows you to hide a quote form and make a purchase order form visible, carrying a part of the field of the form of citation data in a new table on the order form. I have attached to this form to https://workspaces.acrobat.com/?d=pqpsXx5VPi * LkMeVKrX57w if you want to take a look. If the check box is cleared, he hid the PO form and to make quite visible.

    The idea behind this is that my client will create his quote and send t to his client. Once the customer accepts the quote, he simply click a button to generate its purchase order send it to its supplier.

    It seems that I have buttons to add lines on the submission form that the problem is more complex. I would be able to do it myself if the table has a fixed number of lines and I was able to use global fields, and naming each cell something different, but because it's a single repeating subform, I can't operate at all.

    I understand that, because it's a repeating subform that I need to create an XML schema to do this, but also can not know for the life of me how to create the schema. I read tons of tutorials, but no idea how to apply it to my specific needs. I've been able to find only info on how to bind the data source once it's been created.

    I would be eternally grateful if someone could help out me.

    Thank you!

    I edited your form and put it here.

    Here's what I did:

    • Script inserted into your box renamed someone who mask/displays the purchase order / sales quotation
    • I have included a script object with a function I wrote to transfer data from as named fields/subforms from one section to another
    • Inserted a few fields in your table of purchase order

    What you need to do is to complete the development of your purchase order table. Make sure that the common fields between the quote and purchase tables have the same name in order to transfer data.

    No necessary schema.

  • How can I Data Modeler does not generate constraints on NNC_ tables?

    Hi all

    Unfortunately I have not found the answer using Google ;-)

    When I generate my DDL scripts on my model on some tables Data Modeler (version 4.0.0) automatically generates constraints on the columns of the table "NNC_" for example:

    CREATE TABLE STG_DURCHGANGSKNOTEN

    (

    ID NUMBER CONSTRAINT NNC_STG_DURCHGANGSKNOTENv1_ID NOT NULL,

    Kilometrierung VARCHAR2 (20) CONSTRAINT NNC_STG_DURCHGANGSKNOTENv1_Kilometrierung NOT NULL,

    Letzte_Aenderung DATE CONSTRAINT NNC_STG_DURCHGANGSKNOTENv1_Letzte_Aenderung NOT NULL,

    Knotentyp VARCHAR2 (100) CONSTRAINT NNC_STG_DURCHGANGSKNOTENv1_Knotentyp NOT NULL,

    Name VARCHAR2 (100),

    BZ_Bezeichner VARCHAR2 (100),

    GUI_Bezeichner VARCHAR2 (100),

    Spurplanabschnitt_ID NUMBER NNC_STG_DURCHGANGSKNOTENv1_Spurplanabschnitt_ID CONSTRAINT NOT NULL,.

    XML_Document XMLTYPE

    );

    How can I avoid this? I like to just get something like this:

    CREATE TABLE STG_DURCHGANGSKNOTEN

    (

    IDENTIFICATION NUMBER NOT NULL,

    Kilometrierung VARCHAR2 (20) NOT NULL,

    Letzte_Aenderung DATE NOT NULL,

    Knotentyp VARCHAR2 (100) NOT NULL,

    Name VARCHAR2 (100),

    BZ_Bezeichner VARCHAR2 (100),

    GUI_Bezeichner VARCHAR2 (100),

    Spurplanabschnitt_ID NUMBER NOT NULL,

    XML_Document XMLTYPE

    );

    Thank you

    Matthias

    Hi Matthias,

    The NOT NULL Constraint clause appears likely because 'Not Null Constraint Name' property is set to the column.  (It is indicated on the Panel "forced by default and ' in the column properties dialog box.)

    To stop these products, you can go to the Data Modeler/DOF of the preferences page (on the Tools menu) and set the option 'generate short form of NO forced NULL.

    Note that there now is a forum specifically for the Data Modeler: SQL Developer Data Modeler

  • Can you check data in a table or another, but not both in a single query?

    I have a situation where I need to connect the two tables, but the data can be in another table (archive) or different records are in both but I want the last disk in two tables:

    ACCOUNT

    AccountID name

    John Doe 123

    Jane 124 Donaldson

    125 Harold Douglas

    MARKETER_ACCOUNT

    AccountID key Marketer StartDate EndDate

    1001 123 10526 8/3/2008 9/27/2009

    1017 123 10987 9/28 / 2009 12/31/4712 (high date ~ that means currently with this Distributor)

    1023 124 10541 03/12/2010 12/31/4712

    ARCHIVES

    AccountID key Marketer StartDate EndDate

    1015 124 10526 8/3/2008 12/02/2010

    1033 125 10987 01/01/2011 01/31/2012

    If my query should return the following:

    123 John Doe 10526 8/3/2008 9/27/2009

    Jane Donaldson 10541 12/03/2010 31/12/124 4712 (that is the later of the two folders for this account between tables Archives and marketer_account)

    125 Harold Douglas 10987 01/01/2011 01/31/2012 (it is in the archives, so get this recording)

    I'm not sure how to do this in a single query.  Beware, I am possibly reading several accounts at once and return to a .net collection

    Open CURSOR_ACCT

    Select the account ID

    Of

    ACCOUNT A,

    MARKETER_ACCOUNT M.

    R OF THE ARCHIVES

    where A.AccountID = nvl ((select max (M.EndDate) of Marketer_account M2

    where M2. AccountID is A.AccountID),

    (select max (R.EndDate) in Archive R2

    where R2. AccountID = A.AccountID)

    and upper (B.SID) as a parameter. '%'

    < can you do a NVL like that?   probably not...   I want to be able to get the MAX registration for this account on the table of MarketerACcount OR recording max for this account to off the table to Archive, but not the two >

    (setting could be 'DO', so I return all names beginning with...)

    Hello

    So, you have a few lines in marketer_account and the other rows in the archives, but you do not want to treat all lines, as if it were a table, is it?

    This sounds like a job for the UNION:

    WITH union_data AS

    (

    SELECT StartDate, EndDate, Marketer, AccountID

    OF marketer_account

    UNION ALL

    SELECT StartDate, EndDate, Marketer, AccountID

    To archive

    )

    got_MaxEndDate AS

    (

    SELECT StartDate, EndDate, Marketer, AccountID

    MAX (EndDate) ON (AccountID PARTITION) AS MaxEndDate

    Of union_data

    )

    SELECT a.AccountID, B.SID

    m.Marketer, m.StartDate, m.EndDate

    One ACCOUNT

    JOIN got_MaxEndDate m ON m.AccoutnID = a.AccoundID

    WHERE m.EndDate = m.MaxEndDate

    ;

    I hope that answers your question.
    If this is not the case, after a CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for your sample data.
    Report when the above query is the production of incorrect results and explain, using specific examples, how to get results in these places.
    Always say what version of Oracle you are using (for example, 11.2.0.2.0).

    See the FAQ forum: https://forums.oracle.com/message/9362002#9362002

    .

    Starting with version 8, the maximum year in DATEs Oracle is 9999, not 4712.

  • May not be able to Shrink tables (data files)

    Hi all

    Oracle 10.2.0.3.0 on HP - UX

    I've restored the cold backup of size 1.5 to. All tables are present in a single schema.

    SQL > SELECT SUM (bytes) / 1024/1024/1024 "GB" FROM WHERE user_segments;

    GB
    ----------
    1496.96539

    Application user is past the tables of all the useless lines.

    SQL > SELECT SUM (bytes) / 1024/1024/1024 "GB" FROM WHERE user_segments;

    GB
    --------
    677.87667

    After letting down the paintings, I try to reduce the tables to reduce the HWM. For this, I have the query on all of the tables below.

    change the movement line of table_name enable;

    ALTER table table_name retractable space compact;

    I check with a script available in metalink to analyze the data files how can I reduce the size of the file of data manually

    After running script. I found there is that no boom of the data file cannot be done. When I try to reduce the data file using

    SQL > alter data < datafile > size < size >;

    It throws error as

    ORA-03297: file contains data beyond the requested value of RESIZING

    When I check my size of the database, this is the same I checked with the tables, that is to say 1.5 to.

    Could you please suggest what would be the problem?

    Thank you

    Hello

    But I have no space left to create the tablespace or move the tables. Export of more than 1.5 TB of data is not allowed for me to move forward.

    So it will be difficult, but it is not impossible.

    First published as previously you must use option SHRINK SPACE, as you could see in the link below
    in order to free up space in your Tablespace:

    http://www.Oracle.com/technology/oramag/Oracle/05-may/o35tuning.html

    With the request that I posted, you can locate the last block in your data file.

    You can follow the Segment that has this block by changing the query as follows (assuming that your block size is * 8192 * bytes, else you will need to change)
    This value in the query):

    select a.tablespace_name, a.file_name, b.owner, b.segment_name, ceil( (nvl(hwm,1)*8192)/1024/1024 ) "Mo"
    from dba_data_files a, ( select file_id,
                             max(block_id+blocks-1) hwm
                             from dba_extents
                             group by file_id
                           ) b
    where a.file_id = b.file_id(+)
    order by tablespace_name;

    Then, MOVE you (or RECONSTRUCTION if there is an Index) the segment corresponding in a different Tablespace.
    And revert to the original.

    Check again where is your last block with the above query.

    And Segment-by-Segment basis, you can move the HWM of the data file and reduce its size without
    use too much space.

    But you need time, so be patient. Time or space, you can choose :-).

    Hope this helps;
    Best regards

  • ODI - 1228:Task Load Data - LKM File to SQL-fails on the connection target: table or view does not exist

    While performing a mapping (present in the package) that loads the file to table data, my mapping is being failed in the step - LKM file with above mentioned SQL error.

    This task is running for 30 candy Mint and loading data about 30 to 40 million for the temporary table of C$ ODI.

    Before the completion of the task is to make failure and also C$ table is also get deleted.

    Any possible resolution for above mentioned the issue?

    Problems have been solved.

    In our case, the prefix of all the data store name has been SRC_ so the nickname of all the data store became SRC, and the table name C$ depends on the daatastore Alias.

    So for executing two mapping tables $ CAN have been getting dropped by other mapping due to the same table name $ CAN.

    Change the Alias name giving it a unique name solve the problem.

  • FilterVisible does not work for an af:table component.

    In jdev 12.1.3

    I have a component af:table surrounded by a panelCollection in a jsf page, and I have set the attribute FilterVisible of the element af:table as 'true '. The page associated with source codes are as follows:

    But, when the page runs, the buttun toggles filter for the table does not appear in the upper area of the panelColletion.

    Is there something that I missed?

    How to fix?

    Thank you.

    The not Blas: how to add screening lines to an af:table which has not been originally configured for this

    When you add an ADF table read-only on a JSF page you can add "the lines matching" to the table. Here's how to put it on a table that was not setup with the 'filtering of lines"and now you want to enable it now.

    1. right click on the JSF page that contains the 'af:table' and select 'go to definition Page.

    2. in the window structure, right-click on 'executable' and select 'insert inside executables-> Search box.

    3. Enter an ID like this--> SrListQuery

    4. change the XML binding file so it adds these 3 attributes, as shown.

    <searchRegionBinds="SrlistView1Iterator"Criteria=""Customizer="oracle.jbo.uicli.binding.JUSearchBindingCustomizer"id="SrListQuery"/>

    5. return to the JSF page and go into the source editor and add these 3 attributes in bold to your "af:table". You should use "SrListQuery" which is the Id of the executable search box.

    <af:tablevalue="#{bindings.SrlistView1.collectionModel}"var="row" rows="#{bindings.SrlistView1.rangeSize}"emptyText="#{bindings.SrlistView1.viewable ? 'No rows yet.' : 'Access Denied.'}"fetchSize="#{bindings.SrlistView1.rangeSize}"  filterModel="#{bindings.SrListQuery.queryDescriptor}"  queryListener="#{bindings.SrListQuery.processQuery}" selectedRowKeys="#{bindings.SrlistView1.collectionModel.selectedRow}"selectionListener="#{bindings.SrlistView1.collectionModel.makeCurrent}"rowSelection="single" id="table"filterVisible="true">

    Finally we must determine which columns we want to allow filtering occurs for which we do as follows

    6. Select the "af:column" tag in the structure window.

    7. click on the symbol to expand the 'behavior' options in the property inspector.

    8. set "Filterable" to "true".

    9. Repeat steps 6 through 8 for each column that you want to be blockable.

    Now, when you switch to design view of your JSF page you should see your table that has one row on top of the table which allows line of filtering for columns that you have enabled this for.

    Thanks for the response to the stupid question.

    (a) Yes, I have the table created in the database.

    (b) the Data Source connection points to the correct schema.

    (c) Yes. The source is configured with a pool of outbound connections.

    (d) and I have re-deployed the adapter.

    Concerning

    Mr President.

    I recreate my diagram by connecting as sysdba and opens the my database

    then I do not get this message.

    I think that was the problem with my database it has been locked or is created in use of the system.

  • Download / file to process XML in Oracle tables with inconsistent structure

    I need help to figure out if I can write a piece of code that can process XML elements / files that do not match every time. If the data does not exist for a particular column, the element or attribute is not included in the resulting XML code.

    Here is an example of my script:

    < testxml >
    < departments >
    < DepartmentID > 1001 < / DepartmentID >
    < DepartmentNum > 10 < / DepartmentNum >
    < DepartmentName > finance < / DepartmentName >
    < DepartmentHead > Scott Tiger < / DepartmentHead >
    < / departments >
    < employees >
    < employee >
    < EmployeeID > 1111 < / EmployeeID >
    Annabella < EmployeeFirstName > < / EmployeeFirstName >
    < EmployeeMiddleName > D < / EmployeeMiddleName >
    Miller < EmployeeLastName > < / EmployeeLastName >
    Anna of < EmployeePrefName > < / EmployeePrefName >
    January 1, 1970 < EmployeeDOB > < / EmployeeDOB >
    < EmployeeSalary > 5000 < / EmployeeSalary >
    < EmpCommission > 1000 < / EmpCommission >
    < / employee >
    < employee >
    < EmployeeID > 1112 < / EmployeeID >
    Benjamin < EmployeeFirstName > < / EmployeeFirstName >
    Burns < EmployeeLastName > < / EmployeeLastName >
    Ben < EmployeePrefName > < / EmployeePrefName >
    < EmployeeDOB > 2 February 1980 < / EmployeeDOB >
    < > 4000 EmployeeSalary < / EmployeeSalary >
    < EmpCommission > 1500 < / EmpCommission >
    < / employee >
    < employee >
    < EmployeeID > 1113 < / EmployeeID >
    Charles < EmployeeFirstName > < / EmployeeFirstName >
    Cook < EmployeeLastName > < / EmployeeLastName >
    Charlie < EmployeePrefName > < / EmployeePrefName >
    < EmployeeDOB > 3 March 1975 < / EmployeeDOB >
    < > 6000 EmployeeSalary < / EmployeeSalary >
    < / employee >
    < / employees >
    < / testxml >

    In the example above, you can make a difference in 3 employee records. The first record has all the details he has given to all the columns, but second record is missing the tag < EmployeeMiddleName > and the third record is missing < EmployeeMiddleName > and < EmpCommission > tags altogether because there is no data in the database for them. Under normal scenarios, these files come with a Blank item or attribute tags (< EmpCommission / >, but this isn't the case here.)

    Appreciate your help in this in advance.

    Thank you and best regards,
    JD

    Hi JD,

    Glad you made your way here :)

    For example, suppose that your sample WITH THAT XML has been loaded in TMP_XML (table XMLType), so what's the problem:

    SQL> SELECT x.*
      2  FROM tmp_xml t
      3     , XMLTable(
      4         '/testxml/Employees/Employee'
      5         passing t.object_value
      6 columns ID number path 'EmployeeID'
      7               , FirstName  varchar2(30) path 'EmployeeFirstName'
      8               , MiddleName varchar2(10) path 'EmployeeMiddleName'
      9               , LastName   varchar2(30) path 'EmployeeLastName'
     10               , PrefName   varchar2(30) path 'EmployeePrefName'
     11               , DOB        varchar2(15) path 'EmployeeDOB'
     12 , Salary number path 'EmployeeSalary'
     13 , Commission number path 'EmpCommission'
     14       ) x
     15  ;

            ID FIRSTNAME MIDDLENAME LASTNAME PREFNAME DOB SALARY COMMISSION
    ---------- --------------- ---------- -------------- -------------- --------------- ---------- ----------
          1111 Annabella       D          Miller         Anna           01-JAN-1970           5000       1000

    ?

    See, missing components appear in the NULL columns.
    Do you want a different behavior?
