Help file XML generating the table data

Hello, I am new to generate XML and tried a host of options, including using variants of XMLELEMENT, XMLGEN and XMLDOM, all to nothing does not. I need to write code that will generate an XML file that will produce results such as below. Data will be taken from a table called cmdb_formatted_test and number of lines may vary. The code below seems to work almost however I get an error "not enough values. The select works if I don't mean to put the clob data in the variable.

[code]

DECLARE

l_file_name VARCHAR2 (30);

l_file_path VARCHAR2 (200);

l_xmldoc CLOB.

BEGIN

l_file_path: = 'cmdb_dir ';

l_file_name: = 'TEST_XML.xml ';

Select xmlelement ("xmlns:ns1 = 'CILoad' ns1:CIList'),

XMLELEMENT ("ns1:ConfigurationItem", XMLATTRIBUTES (c.transactionID, c.action),

XMLELEMENT ("ns1:RequiredElements",

XMLELEMENT ("ns1:AssetTag", c.assettag)

XMLELEMENT ("ns1:CIName", c.ciname)

XMLELEMENT ("ns1:FdaStatus", c.fdastatus)

XMLELEMENT ("ns1:OwnerPerson", c.ownerperson)

XMLELEMENT ("ns1:SoxCritical", c.soxcritical)

XMLELEMENT ("ns1:Status", c.status)

XMLELEMENT ("ns1:Type", c.type)

) like"ADDITIONS".

). getclobval()

in l_xmldoc

of cmdb_formatted_test c;

dbms_xslprocessor.clob2file (l_xmldoc, l_file_path, l_file_name, nls_charset_id ('UTF8'));

END;

Need for XML output is attached

You don't have to try things at random, all of this is well documented, with examples:

Generate XML from the database data

Your query, although not correct, returns two columns. That's why Oracle is complaining when you try to search in a single variable.

Not tested, but the following should be close to what you want:

DECLARE

  l_file_name      varchar2(30) := 'TEST_XML.xml';
  l_file_path      varchar2(30) := 'CMDB_DIR'; -- you probably want uppercase here
  l_xmldoc         clob;

BEGIN

  select '' ||
         xmlserialize(document
           xmlelement("ns1:CIList"
           , xmlattributes('CILoad' as "xmlns:ns1")
           , xmlagg(
               xmlelement("ns1:ConfigurationItem"
               , xmlattributes(
                   c.transactionID as "transactionID"
                 , c.action as "action"
                 )
               , xmlelement("ns1:RequiredElements"
                 , xmlelement("ns1:AssetTag", c.assettag)
                 , xmlelement("ns1:CIName", c.ciname)
                 , xmlelement("ns1:FdaStatus", c.fdastatus)
                 , xmlelement("ns1:OwnerGroup", c.ownergroup)
                 , xmlelement("ns1:OwnerPerson", c.ownerperson)
                 , xmlelement("ns1:SoxCritical", c.soxcritical)
                 , xmlelement("ns1:Status", c.status)
                 , xmlelement("ns1:Type", c.type)
                 )
               , xmlelement("ns1:OptionalElements", null)
               )
             )
           )
           as clob

  • Cannot right click Windows 7 Explorer of files to generate the copy of the file names in a Notepad or Excel-compatible file. HELP REQUESTED!

    I struggled for several hours to restore the service right click that I used to have XP to Windows 7.  I need to save lists of file names such as displayed in the file Explorer. Allowing you to right-click and save files in Notepad. This option has been removed in Windows 7 and anything put in place to restore it.

    I have lists of items in the inventory and need to copy and paste the image corresponding to a transfer sheet to allow the server names to match images in article SKU.  The file names are long and typing is a complete waste of time.

    I used to be able to find them in the Windows Explorer, right-click on the directory and generate a txt file that I could open in Notepad or Excel.  -Easy.  Now right-click only allows an export in an uneditable image in ONE NOTE. This is useless for me. I can't do anything with an image file - I need the editable data.

    Is there a solution?  I need only the file name and extension, not the full path, in a text or spreadsheet document propagation.

    I had used the Microsoft solution to install their dose without knowing the final format was a NOTE image file format and not a simple txt file. I try now too write the batch file:

    %windir%\Printdir.bat

    or edit it in order to keep the file in Notepad and do not make the final conversion into a single Note.

    The problem is that the fix from Microsoft, designed to fix this problem, has placed the conversion file in the root directory and it cannot be overwritten.  I refused the possibility to delete, edit or write the file due to the requirements of administrative privilege mandated by the security of Windows 7 too much.

    So if anyone has a solution to every problem - that would help - I am very tired and frustrated and not happy with Microsoft.  Their zealous concern with security made their unnecessary programs for me and have further discouraged me to convert to the windows 10. frustrations and nightmares are waiting for me there I can't imagine.  What I really want to do at this point is to go back to XP.

    He ate five hours of my day. I don't have the time to fight like that. I am trying to be productive, but all I got are monumental technical walls and roadblocks - often designed into the system. Frustrating doesn't begin to describe it.

    Found a solution on a Web site:

    http://www.watchingthenet.com/how-to-print-a-directory-tree-from-Windows-Explorer.html

    They said it was for VISTA, but worked for me under Windows 7. You will need to use Notepad to the command prompt and select run as administrator to save the file in the root directory.

    Thanks for the help.

    Cheers.

  • All my attempts so far to generate the table of contents for Kindle (.mobi) failed. Can anyone help?

    I used InDesign CC to create an epub file and the TOC and the Navigation bar appear perfectly in Adobe Digital Editions (version 3.0). Then I saved the file to the IDML format open InDesign CS6 and use the Kindle Plugin to create a mobi file. I use the same style of table materials used to create the epub file, but although Kindlegen validates the file, the table of contents is unable to generate. I've been on several discussion forums and many people express problems by having their TOC displayed in Kindle Previewer. Can anyone help?

    Hello

    Kindle requires a separate html file for OCD and even must be referenced in the guide in content.opf element. In your InDesign CC document, generate the table of contents on a page and make sure the option 'Make the anchor text to the source paragraph' is checked.

    Now export the EPUB 3 file. Open EPUB in Sigil (it's a free EPUB editor of Google). Menu Goto tools-> Table of contents-> generate HTML Table of contents. This creates a new xhtml file and automatically adds the element of guidance in content.opf like this:

    Save EPUB and open directly into Kindle Previewer. Table of contents option must be turned on now and should work.

    Please try and let me know if it works.

    Kind regards

    I don't know where you got the impression that I said that the DOM would be better. It will be definitely worse. The only advantage of the evaluation of DOM based (or functional) is that it can handle a much wider range of XQuery and XPath expressions. However there is nothing in what I saw in your examples the SQL execution path is not be be able to manage the only way you get the performance you need is to get the work of path of execution of SQL. To get the job of re - write, you will need to avoid wildcards and get the fix for the bug.

    I hate to disappoint you, but your XML schema is actually quite simple, it is certainly not in a class, that I would not complex, for recording results in a hierarchical structure very simple, unique, with 42 nested tables, if you want to see an example of something I would consider as complex search the Web for the FpML or NIEM schemas , recording these patterns result in recursive structures with multiple nested tables 1000!

    I see nothing in your XML schema that would make the use of wildcard characters required (with the exception of running in this bug). For tasks and Instance/tasks / * are identical in your use case as a tasks element can contain one or more elements of task, not do I see anything that would make me think that some how transform XML CSV would make it easier to load.

    My number 1 recommendation is to apply the 10.2.0.4.0 patch or upgrade to GR 11, 1 material. According to your deadlines, you can also consider 11 GR 2 beta.

    With FrameMaker 2015. When I generate the table of contents from a new .book, I get blank pages between each page of the table of contents, they are totally blank does not even a block of text. I click on Add> autonomous Create TOC. I keep the default settings. And that's what I'm left with.

    TOC Frame 2015 small.png

    I can get rid of them by special> Delete page. But I never had to do before the 2015 version. I tried with older files generated in frame 10. same thing. If someone has encountered this?

    Master Pages are part of each document.

    You can import master pages from another document (i.e. a ' model') in your current document using the file > import > Formats... option and select layout from the list (deselect all others).

    If you have changed the current TOC for the problem of the Page Master on the left, then simply save the file and use the Edit > update book option for that OCD regenerated by using the new page templates.

    Hello!

    Can someone advice me in the following cases:

    I want to erase my Photos from iPhone and iMac. Before that, I wish I had pictures of my library of Photos saved as a regular directory with files. As Windows does, for example.

    Can someone tell me how to save all Photos in the form of files without losing the GPS data? Thank you!

    Just export them (File menu) in unmodified versions.

    Don't know exactly what you are looking for, but if you want to just set the number from 1 to 999999999, query below would:

    select level from dual  connect by level <999999999;

  • HELP: Default XML or the grid of data from the server

    Help

    I work a flash function proof-of-concept for a client that reads an XML file in a data grid. As coded, it works a lot when I run locally, but when I transfer to the server web it does not work (grid object shows but no data). And I guess I don't understand the remote debugging because when I 'Start the remote debugging session' and 'Opening' it appears to download again, works very well.

    The remote SWF file is located in the http://www.gw-webs.com/TSI/teamTSI.SWF. HTML and XML are also in the same remote folder.

  • Retrieve data from PL/SQL block and generate the UNIX data file

    Hi all

    I comply the following Unix Shell Script code block. The following code was generated the file count_curdate.txt with all need info. The query gives the number of records, the partition_dt group

    ABC ='sqlplus-s < < of folklore > count_curdate.txt
    uname/paswd@ConnectString
    SET THE OFF POSITION;
    SELECT COUNT (*) | «, » || partition_dt of the XYZ group by partition_dt;
    "exit";
    END '

    But now I need to change the above code to use dbms_application_info.set_module in it. Could someone let me know how to generate the file using PL/SQL in Shell Script block. I have tried following written code, but it generates count_curdate.txt file with 0 bytes.

    ABC ='sqlplus-s < < of folklore > count_curdate.txt
    uname/paswd@ConnectString
    Set serveroutput on;
    SET THE OFF POSITION;
    Set feedback off;
    BEGIN
    DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO.set_module (' shm.ksh ',' get account per day ");
    FOR again IN (SELECT COUNT (*):) «, » || partition_dt as 'DCount"of the XYZ of partition_dt group);
    LOOP
    DBMS_OUTPUT. Put_line (reccur. DCount);
    END LOOP;
    end;
    /
    "exit";
    END '

    Hello, your PL/SQL is not successfully completed, i.e.,.

    This:

    ABC=`sqlplus -s < count_curdate.txt
    uname/paswd@connectstring
    set serveroutput on;
    SET HEADING OFF;
    set feedback off;
    BEGIN
    dbms_application_info.set_module ('shm.ksh','get count by day');
    FOR reccur IN (SELECT COUNT(*)||','||partition_dt as "dcount" from XYZ group by partition_dt);
    LOOP
    DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(reccur.dcount);
    END LOOP;
    end;
    /
    exit;
    END`

    Should be this:

    ABC=`sqlplus -s < count_curdate.txt
    uname/paswd@connectstring
    set serveroutput on;
    SET HEADING OFF;
    set feedback off;
    BEGIN
    dbms_application_info.set_module ('shm.ksh','get count by day');
    FOR reccur IN (SELECT COUNT(*)||','||partition_dt as "dcount" from XYZ group by partition_dt);
    LOOP
    DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(reccur.dcount);
    END LOOP;
    end;

  • XML in a Table data. It is NOT easy for me :-(

    Hi friends.

    I have a table with 2 rows and three columns.

    The titles are at the forefront and they are: software - license - Date of expiry

    And the values are supposed to be in 2nd place.

    I have a text called 'Customer' field

    I want to have an XML file that is linked to my PDF file. This XML file must contain all my clients databases, something like this:

    Alfred:

    Software: Antivirus

    License: personal

    Expiration: 2 years

    Emily:

    Software: firewall

    License: Pro

    Expires: 3 years

    And so on with all my clients.

    I need the field text called 'Customer' to display all possible clients on my XML (drop menu, maybe) file so I can choose a customer (Alfred and Emily in this example)

    And most of all... I need the table either automatically filled in according to the selected customer.

    If I choose "Alfred", then the number of the line 2 should be supplemented with "Personal-Antivirus-2 Years", each column, a field.

    I'm really confused.

    Can you help me, please? Thank you and best regards.

    You guessed it... It is will be the easiest way to manage in this scenario.

    Have the data integrated into Acrobat and then send the file to users.

    Whenever there is a change in the XML data, you need to re - import the XML file and save the file.

    When I said "hardcode the values in the PDF file", the drop-down menus in the PDF file will have values populated means design time itself. You can do this either type the values in the property or important data XML of Acrobat.

    I hope this helps to answer your requirements...

    Let me know if you have any questions go to this approach.

    Thank you

  • Generate the Sql Data model ER diagram

    Hello

    I want to use the Oracle Sql Developer Data Modeler to generate ER diagram for my schema. There are a lot of tables in this schema, so I would like to exclusively identify the tables that should be selected to generate my ER diagram.

    Basically, I want these table that are related to other tables here. The reason being, if I select all the tables in the schema, and then I went to these tables in the ER diagram which have nothing to do with other tables.

    Please can anyone suggest write queries that produce this data dictionary?

    Thank you.

    select uc1.constraint_name,
           uc1.table_name,
           uc1.constraint_type,
           uc2.constraint_name,
           uc2.table_name,
           uc2.constraint_type
    from   user_constraints uc1,
           user_constraints uc2
    where  uc1.constraint_type='R'
           and uc1.r_constraint_name=uc2.constraint_name

    This gives you the relationship between the primary and foreign key
