• Overscan issue with 4 ATV

  My plasma Panasonic tv (version 2010) was too turned on scan and it is not a switch to turn it off.

  I didn't have this problem with previous Apple TV (v2 and v3), but now with ATV4 all the edges of the screen are cropped.

  I thought the option to calibrate within the parameters of the atv could help me fix, but it has only a model to verify the problem of excessive scanning, do not to fix. I even bought a soft (Calibrateapp), who noted that it could help the issue of excessive scanning, but just bosses (I ordered a refund for this one).

  I really want to buy a new TV just to solve this problem which did not exist on older AppleTV.

  Can someone share some light on this issue?

• Recommended solution for Thinkpad Tablet and VGA projectors?

  I ordered a Thinkpad Tablet hoping to use it for a teaching tool, but I face a common problem: most classrooms (and indeed, most conference rooms for business) are projectors VGA.

  I know there are a variety of converters HDMI / VGA (using Active electronic components, of course), but I was wondering if Lenovo recommends a solution or if anyone has first-hand experience (perhaps with the Ideapad tablet, or perhaps with a review of the Thinkpad Tablet model) connect to a VGA projector.

  An extra (a little more specific question), it's the mini-HDMI output provides power to work something like the HP-HDMI-VGA connector. If not, are there drivers to support a USB output device / VGA (which are available for Windows, but uncommon on Android).

  The HP adapter works without external power supply with a warning: the output resolution is the native resolution of the Tablet, which seems to cause distortions on 4:3 monitors and slight overscan issues at least a part is watching 16:9. For my purposes (conferences mathy things), it seems it will work fine, although I will take a piece of chalk tomorrow just in case.

• Xoom buttons does not work in landscape mode

  Okay, so I already got basic measures to reboot, hard Boot (hold down the Volume Up and Reboot at the same time) and do a reset to the factory settings to try to resolve this issue, always have. Here it is:

  Recently without apparent reason, and when I'm in landscape mode, I can't interact with the "home" button, the "back" button, the Manager tasks and wake up. It doesn't matter what app I am or if I'm on the regular homescreen, they indicate simply that I'm in contact with them. The buttons are there, but it's as if there is simply no response from the user interface. IT IS ONLY IN LANDSCAPE MODE. Everything works well in portrait mode.

  I spoke with an agent who told me that I had to send it in for repair or replacement. It would cost me $150,00 to do. Tablet is not even really worth even more.

  It started to happen shortly after that I bought and started using a docking OEM with the Xoom.

  All your guys help would be greatly appreciated. This tablet is my only option to watch movies and netflix now. ; no TV. No one being not able to landscape mode and a few apps that I just can't leave if they force the landscape mode.

  Hi all, I have a Xoom Non - u, I am in Australia. My version of android says 3.0.1 when I type the system update it tells me an update of the telstra software available. When I select download, downloads of the file, but when I attempt to load the update I get the android guy with an exclamation mark in the middle. I can get an update indicating message failed. I rebooted it many times & I have also done a system restore, any final in the same way, download failed. can someone tell me what my problem is with my Xoom tablet. Thank you

• Low storage problems - Xoom

  Someone at - he found a solution to the question of the conditions of STORAGE LOW, that mysteriously appear for a short period of use of your Xoom. I searched on the Internet regarding this issue and it seems that most of the owners are simply hard to reset their device to resolve the problem which, in my view, should not be the case because of the fact that the problem is simply one more time. As for me Ive tried many techniques to recover from storage space to use ES Explorer to remove the temporary files not clearing on cache files but I'm near the 2 GB free space, I had days back my current space is 5 MB!...

  IM also at the hearing that Motorola is aware of the problem and that it should have a solution to the issue but that the statement was made 4 months of someone in another forum.

• Official: ICS 4.0.4 (IMM76) for the WiFi Xoom US

  The Xoom (chapter WiFi) scholarship,

  The long-awaited ICS 4.0.4 update started rolling the Tablet Xoom WiFi on 29/03/12 and will take place on all of the tablets recorded over the next few days. This thread will track progress, discussions, advice and issues related to the update, so please let us know when you receive the update and how it works.

  NOTE: If you encounter problems with the new update, please post them in this thread and not new threads. This will allow to Motorola and the XPRTs to keep track of your comments, observe the consistency and answering questions.

  The ICS 4.0.4 update should fix several previous questions and includes the following:

• Leave comments / contact developer on Android Market for Xoom

  I must say that I like how they changed the market for the experiense of the Tablet, but could not find the place where I can leave a comment and rate the apps that I downloaded. Does anyone have an idea if its possible to make the Xoom and if so where?

  Edit: I am also noticed now that I find no opportunity to contact the developer, unless the application is installed.

• Xoom browser does support multitasking tab?

  I tried to listen to Internet radio in a tab, and reading the newspapers in another tab without result. This in the Chrome browser as well as in the Dolphin HD (latest version). A single tab is turned on and the other goes out in the background. Desktop computers have no problem with this kind of multitasking. Is there a way to make the Xoom supports multitasking tab? I would appreciate your help on this issue.

  The Xoom itself supports multitasking natively, but the app must also support multitasking or even multi-threading. For example, I often start a new installation of app and then switch on the browser for surfing the Internet. When the download and installation is complete, the Xoom warns me in the lower right corner of the screen (it's multitasking). Similarly, I typed a URL in a browser (using Chrome, Dolphin HD or Firefox 4) tab and then immediately passed to another tab and load a different URL at the same time, switch back to the first tab shows that it finished loading in the background. I think the problem you are experiencing may be limited to streaming audio or Flash in the browser, maybe it's not multi-tasking capable. I do not stream Internet radio via the web, but use the Android app instead (it's FREE through Amazon today only). If you use the app, you can carry out several tasks and it requires fewer resources to work (and your free browser for the other surf leash).

  The other thing to consider is that Chrome (and possibly honeycomb) are suspected of leaking memory when you use the browser (where the reason why we recommend restart from time to time). This can also impact your use of the browser for audio streams.

• Update Flash killed my Xoom!

  The last thing I saw was a Flash update, now my Xoom does not illuminate. When I plug the led does not illuminate.

  I just updated my Flash and I'm having no problem at the moment. Try to do a hard reset flight of Hold Up and press Power.

• Are the US 3 G Xoom network locked?

  I live in Australia and I am wanting to buy a Motorola Xoom. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab for the moment but would really like the larger screen. The Xoom is not for sale yet in Australia. I'm looking to buy a Xoom slightly used on ebay, if I can, but I'm afraid it might be network locked.

  I could verify that the USA 3 G is the same as the Australian 3G (with the service provider I use) it seems that there are no compatibility issues. It seems that the Xoom, the American version of the 3G is sold by Verizon and I would like to know if they are network locked or if some are and some are not, so I have an idea of what to look for in trying to find a.

• Story about the Motorola Xoom

  Story should run on the Xoom? If so it will not be for me. I downloaded Air very well since the Android Market, but it takes several will install. Even when it does not install when I try to install the desktop within the history on the web app it tells me I have no Air then try to install it - and fails. I don't see a way to get the history file that apparently useless Air download that won't work no. So history does not work on the Xoom for me, which is a shame. It must be very nice.

  . AIR files can not be installed directly on the Android tablet or by phone. Application must be re-packed. However, we have still a few outstanding issues to be resolved before the application starts to be useful on the Xoom or any other android tablet.

• Appeal iPhone issues 7 more

  I recently bought the new iPhone 7 more.  Not only am I having problems with the LTE service, bounce back between 3 G and no service I am now having problems with call connectivity.  When you try to make an outgoing call, I get an automatic response from my carrier (Verizon) "it's Verizon, we are unable to complete your call at this time, please turn off your phone and back and try again."

  It is a known issue with the iPhone 7 and Verizon. Supposed to be Apple and Verizon are seeking him. It has been a problem since the phone was released. Do a Google search or search here on the forums for a temporary solution but not a cure.  But basically to stop the LTE oice and data into data only in the settings.
