  Very probably during the process of adding more memory you may disrupt the battery CMOS (or RTC) or even the chip for the BIOS itself. Please (no need to do this):

  • Reinstall the components autour RAM slots
  • Change new battery for RTC
  • Check the BIOS and reset the date hour away
  • Check the date and time of Windows.

  I tried signing out and back in to the application of CC Office repeatedly, and I tried to rename the opm.db file in the user OOBE folder. That makes that worse, sporadic to constant.

  It is a fresh install of Win7 pro on an i5 system - three years, but two days ago, I changed the system to an SSD drive and reinstalled everything from scratch. I did complete the operating system update so, until I started to install the CC apps. I installed Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat.

  Here is a possible shot: I used packages of stand-alone Installer available at tools ProDesign - the reason being that I have very slow home internet, and three to four hours for a single application to download is simply not an option. Updates to the OS are as much as this topic can manage, if I take a little at a time. So, I downloaded the installers at work and taken home. Even for the update installation programs (and that's when the real trouble began).

  So, what can I do, what are my options here?

  I think that the problem is caused by a small button battery in your computer that needs to be replaced.

  1. If you you disconnect the power supply to your computer

  2. Hold the button for 7 seconds

  3. Lay the computer on its side with the side where the wires are down

  4. Remove the side panel

  5. By peer in there and you'll see a shiny silver battery about 1/2 "in diameter.  It's the battery

  6. Go into any store and buy a 2032 button battery.  They cost less than $5

  7. Find a very small screwdriver flat blade (like that used for glasses)

  8. Very gently, loose battery.  It will pop up, so be ready to grab.

  9. Press the new battery with the markings embossed on the top-side facing you.

  10. Close the side panel

  11. Replace vertical

  12. Start the computer

  I know it sounds weird, but I would like to start by making sure that your Mac hard drive is correct. Demarrer start on the recovery environment, run disk utility and perform first aid on your hard drive. You can also perform a boot secured, which does essentially the same thing.

  I also saw problems with USB devices that appear only on a specific USB port. Try changing ports.

  The external drive is new does not mean that it is not defective. Perform first aid on the external hard drive and reformat. Better still, try another drive altogether to eliminate the drive as the source of the problem.

  Try to go to iCloud.com to see if the elements are there and whether the device or the computer. That should indicate if the device or computer is not synchronizing.   I use Windows Vista Home Premium, SP1 and that you may have noticed that when I schedule recordings for some a particular channel, Media Center starts 2 minutes beforehand and ends 2 minutes in advance.  This affects only shows record from my local affiliate Fox - all other shows for other strings start and stop at the appropriate time.

  I checked the system clock with the start times of the shows and both are correct.  In fact, I saw one day Media Center started to record for a show that did not begin until 08:00 at 19:58 (according to the system time).  I had my TV on at the same time and was able to verify that the program in question had not yet begun, so the flow of the internet was sychned with the dissemination of local transmission.

  It's very frustrating because I miss the end of some shows and cannot always extend registration ends because I'm ordering another channel, the next hour.
