  If you do not use your account to send AOL from, then you must go to tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties and then under servers, set the correct and less advanced as well.  These values are obtained from your e-mail provider.  See if there are instructions on their Web site to use OE and what parameters to use.

  Windows 7 firewall allows you to create your own rules for inbound and outbound traffic. With them, you can control programs, services, ports, and machines. Better to have a look at the control panel / Windows Firewall / Advanced settings.

• Inbound and outbound ACL question

  I want to restrict inbound and outbound traffic with access-lists on my PIX 515. May be this is a stupid question, but I don't know how the acl pix treatment directions of traffic. Let's say that I encouraged in traffic ntp to the outside to the inside host inbound_acl, I need to open port ntp also in the outbound_acl pass the ntp response?

  If you open port NTP of outside inside the host, PIX will maintain this session state and will return by the hosts inside circulation. The default is no ACL out (ACL equivalent to entering on the inside of the interface). The statefull inspection rule is the same for all directions/interfaces.

  The time zone is not the computer's time. It's the shift of computers in hours and minutes from the Greenwich Meridian

  To change the time zone of the terminal, simply press Ctrl + Alt + T on your keyboard to open the Terminal. When it opened, run the commands below:

  sudo dpkg - reconfigure tzdata

  Once opened, just follow the screens to change the time zone.

  most of the time I am using my Toshiba satellite pro m30 without the battery with the energy of the power system. the battery is stored somewhere outside of the computer for a month the real time clock shows a bad time if the computer is started after a period of time.

  I think my cmos battery is going to die soon.

  Hello Reinhard

  I agree with you. It is time to replace the CMOS battery. It is not easy and the machine must be dismantled. If you are not familiar with the procedure for disassembly, it can be dangerous. A small mistake can result with damaging material.

  If you want to do it alone, you do so at your own risk. Be sure to use the right battery. Maybe you won't believe, but if you use a battery hurt it could cause battery explosion, or other damage.

  I'm not 100% sure, but the RTC battery must be placed on the left side near the touch pad. If you want to only please be very gently. The laptop parts are very sensitive.

  In my library, the details section only lists the title of the song, but not the Album or artist.

• Wrong time; No work of Fix

  We are in an office and 4 of us are connected to an Internet Server and some software that we share.  4 users AND the server always shows wrong time - about 10-15 minutes.

  I have read every available answer and tried every fix, but we either do not have the little ' time Internet "tab most call for papers for, or the answers just do not apply (Yes, we have daylight saving time.  Yes, we are in the correct time zone)

  I guess that the 4 users have the wrong time because that's the way it is on the server.  But why?  Someone has an idea?

• enlarge the font of incoming emails and my e-mail folders

  I have problems to see the tiny print on my email folders and incoming e-mails due to macular degeneration. I can't find info how to fix the font size. I did once but Microsoft just fix my computer and it is small.

  In Firefox, the zoom feature is probably your best bet. You can zoom the content of a site using one of these approaches:

  • In the menu '3-bar', the button to the right of the current percentage of zoom to enlarge (click - to shrink).
  • CTRL + using a key on the keyboard to enlarge (Ctrl - to reduce) +.
  • The Ctrl key while the mouse wheel scrollin

  In General, the default zoom level for the toolbar of the browser area and all sites relies on your Windows text size setting. If your Windows text size setting has been reduced, which could explain the problems in Firefox.   If you want to enlarge BOTH the user interface AND the content of the page even more than your size setting text of Windows, we can help you with the configuration for this change.

• track detail displays &amp; prints on all e-mails from the Inbox, and forward e-mails. How to remove or hide?

  My incoming e-mails shows all information tracking (which was previously hidden) on the screen and print emails. If I send an email tracking information included in the email sent. If I reply to an e-mail message, the information is not displayed (pictured) on the email. We have not been able to find a way to hide this information as it was in the past and to our other users.
