  When you set up your account send only, you should be able to disable the e-mail is.  Under the general tab of the account properties, you will find a box "Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing".  Uncheck this option.  You can include any string of fake server, you want the name of the incoming server.  The account will never check incoming mail, but you can use it to send mail.

  Some messages are not complying with the standards of the Internet and the images do not show before their delivery.  You can overcome this by transmitting the message as an attachment instead, and then the images will be intact.

  The hotspot just iPhone connects you to the Internet, the e-mail application does not really know the difference (as much as he knows, he might as well be a Starbucks WiFi at the coffee shop).

  It seems that you are properly connected to the hotspot, but that your e-mail program is not configured to download emails to iCloud.  Your hotspot is actually not related to that.  The mail app will download mail, regardless of how you connect to the web.

  My answer is the same:

  Try to define under Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties and if you still have this problem, make sure that there are no conflicting anti-virus (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3) and try to compact and repair the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).  If it still does not work, then see if you can connect using the web interface: https://postoffice.tpg.com.au/advanced/postoffice/login.php?TPG=9fq1mclnpfs3ohturt2red8bf3

  The parameters of Windows Mail (which is renamed in Vista OE) are the same for OE.  WMUtil is therefore exclusively for Windows Mail.  If your settings are incorrect then try and change them as indicated.  If the settings are correct and its doesn't work, then if it is not due to the antivirus or the database, and then its something on the server end and you can try and remedy the situation by contacting your provider.  If they put in place and its nothing does not work, then there's someone here can do to fix it.

  I opened a new gmail account and tried to use Windows Mail to send/retrieve messages instead of you connect on a browser all the time.  Before the change, I used Windows mail to my Shaw account (a local Canadian internet provider).

  I have still two addresses on Windows Mail and they worked very well last night.  This morning, Windows Mail prompts for a name of user and password for shawmail.  I put them, he fails to send/receive messages and then claim again the entry.

  Gmail or shawmail works now.

  Remove the account from Shaw and reboot. The Gmail account is working now? If so, try adding the account of Shaw and see if it works.

  Click on the name of title just above the list to change sorting options, it will toggle between first name and family name, Crescent/descending Crescent/descending.

  The settings should be saved automatically.
