Y410P cover with Do Nothing Option close, computer laptop Goes CRAZY (opens programs randomly)

Just got my phone today. I play with her, but I found a problem obvious and unpleasant. If I can not ge this fix I must return.

I have the opportunity to "do nothing" when the lid is closed. However, I discovered that the laptop opens just randomly files/programs/applications. I have the laptop sitting on my table. It's not squealing or repositioning. Is it due to poor planning on this laptop? The laptop isn't even a touchscreen when what happens?

Hi anon09,.

Welcome to the Forums.

There is unusual activity on your computer. You can try to:

1. press Fn + F6 to disable the touch pad and try to re-create the problem (if it works, the touchpad is probably the one that opens apps - try to set the sensitivity by going to control panel > mouse.) There should be a tab device settings or MOMENTUM to set the sensitivity.

2. if same problem, try to re - create the problem in Safe Mode. If everything works well, perform a clean boot and test (this action temporarily disables startup programs which is most likely causing the problem).

Let me know your findings,

I had problems to install my HP printer on my HP Pavilion dv6 PC laptop d110. He worked previously but stop and I was forced to try to reinstall the drivers, but it still fails to connect in the end I tried different drivers and even online and on the CD, but still not. It seems to be a problem of troubleshooting when I go to the devices, but the problem is with my computer itself. I's went further in the resolution of problems and found 3 triangle'd photosmart d110 series in the Hardware tab of the properties of my computer. I am running windows 7 64 bit and have service pack 1 installed. I am quite perplexed because my friend has no problem to set up his laptop. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Cover with win8-1 after resetting my laptop Pavilion

I have reset my operating system (without loss of files and applications) on my new Pavilion 17 Notebook. I had already installed upgrading win8-1 included on my computer and several applications and games. Several problems developed IE computer freeze, task manager would not close programs, blk screens and other, mostly by playing games. Finally I reset as indicated above and of course the recovered operating system was win 8, and I can't find win8.1 to reinstall.  Can someone help me?

You will probably need to install many Windows Update before you can install Windows 8.1.  After update of Windows 8, click or tap the Microsoft Store Store on the desktop of Windows 8. If Windows 8.1 is available, it appears as the first element (app) which can be installed. Click or press and then follow the prompts to reinstall it.

  • With the help of the computer laptop Recover copied files recovery?

    Hello world

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-3105tx. I received my hard drive crashed. I could not be able to make the recovery discs using my recovery partition. But how ever I copied my files on a separate disk recovery partition. Now, I have installed Winows 7 Ultimate. But he wants to recognize drivers.  Can I get my phone in factory settings using the files of recovery that I copied to separate drive? If it is possible, how?

It is very unlikely that you try to use a copy of the file recovery works. Please see the page of HP Pavilion dv6-3105tx Entertainment Notebook PC drivers for your computer. This page contains the complete assortment of the necessary drivers for your computer.

If you need help to find the drivers, thanks for posting the Windows Device Manager "Hardware ID" for all missing and/or unknown devices as shown in the example below.

  • My computer became slow to open programs and browse the folders

Hello, since more than two weeks and I'm going to slowly browse my files, and run programs, for example, Media Player Classic would take less than a second to run, and now it takes more than 6 seconds to run!
Now when I open the computer takes 2 seconds to display all of the content, and when I close the window which takes 4 seconds, but also with the rest of windows.

It is a record of what happened in my computer:

The CPU fan is working hard (noise)
MPC open in more than 6 seconds
After running the computer showed me a message that says "Restart to save the changes" (appeared once, not always shown)
Navigation in folders have been slower
When I start full scan by Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 the Scan window will hang and not respond (if the window reduced I can't restore it and he always downplayed)
And if I close the lid when Full Scan running and open only after that the screen goes black (after waiting about an hour the office appear but the window scan still kept to a minimum and not answer and windows suspended)
    Stop to take 20 Min!
Start of time take 3 Min! (To log on the screen)
USB port do not recognize any USB drive until you restart
Install Tune Up Utilities 2010 and clean every thing
    Stop taking about 1 min
Start to take 1 min (to log on the screen)
Navigation still slow (but better than before)

  • After a black screen with a cursor, the performed system restore, now cannot open programs, USB drive

Original title: Windows 7 Home Edition

Yesterday, my pc only has a black screen with a cursor. I tried to restore on another point but then after starting upwards and put my password, I get the home screen but cannot open any programs. I can't use the USB stick or cd / dvd drive so how should proceed to solve this? I can't put my external modem to make a back up and I really want to fix this without losing all the data on my pc. I can run programs in safe mode and windows installation disc opens in SafeMode as well, however I can't set safe mode.

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

The memory could not be "written", click ok to complete the program. I have not downloaded programs. The only thing I can think is deleting browser explore because I never use it (it is incredibly slow and slows down my computer laptop while each opening by mistake) and i ' LD fashioned just get rid of it.

    Hello

I hope someone can help me.

When I turn on my new A500 a box appears with the performance options.
All you can do is go and try to change the virtual memory is and I tried to check all the options and apply.

    -automatically manage the pagefile.
    -managed system folder.
-Custom - size here I didn't know what size to put in?

But all I'm trying to define and go ok and apply and then says that you have to restart to save the changes you made then I do that and the box is back and he's back on the setting of
    No swap file?

Can anyone help me with which is why it's coming when I switch on my computer and how to define and do stay like this.

    Thanks in advance...

    Sue

    Hello

You have a very strange problem
My Windows operating system that is never asked to change the swap file, even if the RAM was not upgraded to 2 GB of RAM.

Microsoft says that the default paging file size is equal to 1.5 times the total RAM.
So if you have 4 GB of RAM and the paging file is set to 6GB.
Usually, this should be good enough.

Also here is an MS article on this paging file:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314482

    Read it s useful.

PS: Check the msconfig. Startup tab check if there are some processes that arise from such a message.

  • C6380 - computer laptop xp prints with connection by usb cable but not wireless

    Hello

I have a c6380, which is about two weeks old. Setup worked fine when I put it on the wireless network and everything is ok.

I installed the software on a vista pc which is connected by cable to my router from sky. This shows very well.

I installed the software on a computer vista laptop that is wireless and prints well.

I also have a computer laptop xp. It is also wireless. The software installed without problem. See the printer etc. However, when I try and print, the printer makes noise and pulls the paper, then the screen says it's printing and then nothing happens. The printer stays like that and eventually the laptop shows a failure to print the message. The document remains in the print queue before deletion, and I have to press Cancel on the printer. If I plug the printer with a usb cable for this laptopit prints without problem.

I ping the printer wireless froom the laptop xp and access the admin screen. It also shows as a network drive in my computer.

I uninstalled the software that came with the printer, downloaded the hp software to ensure that it is up-to-date and re installed.

I put the printer with a static ip address.

I restarted the router as well.

The router uses a channel 11 broadcast key, wpa - psk and is set to g & b modes.

Now, it's really really frustrating because the computer laptop xp my wife, is the main reason why we bought a wirelsss printer because she is a teacher and done loads of printing.

I'm pretty good with pc / networks etc but have now run out of ideas.

    Can someone help me please?

    Thanks in advance.
