I have yellow question mark points by the Ethernet controller. My computer is Dell OptiPlex 360
Try to reload the driver your computer's Ethernet. On another machine, go to the support page for the driver for your computer:

Select the operating system 'Windows XP' and the 'Network' category Find your appropriate driver, download it, upload it to your OptiPlex computer and install it. There is also a Diagnostics Broadcomm utility in the same place that you can run if that does not solve your problem.

My dell latitude D520 Windows XP 2002 do not recognize of network, video controller, sm bus controller and video controller (VGA) compatible. Big yellow question mark in the OTHER DEVICES in Device Manager. I put the drive provided for the internet provider, lizzy, but does not work and I have windows wizzard network asks me to insert the disc again and again whenever I put the lap top on. I have a dimension 4550 o/s Windows XP Professional 2002. I have never used the computer on the Internet, but note that there are of the yellow question marks next to the Ethernet and USB Controller controller. Now, I need to use the computer on the internet and of course need of these at work. Go to the search on this site, I have re-installed the Chipset Driver and she appeared "found new hardware" for both. However, so what goes in the "found new hardware found' it asks to install the software. I tried to insert the resource CD that came with the pc, but cannot find the required software. I'm having a problem with a PSAA5A-01H00T A100 running Win XP sp2.
Windows does not recognize an ethernet controller, so the wireless NETWORK card does not work, even if the wired connection is.
I tried to install the latest WLAN drivers on the support site (two of them), does not. Windows insists that the correct drivers are not installed.I suspect a hardware problem and I have the user on an external wireless NETWORK card, but I would appreciate any idea that you guys can provide.

If so, then a critical driver is missing, and so the controller is not recognized correctly.You n t know what LAN or Wlan chip you have and what driver is needed?

Finally, I have windows xp pro loaded. But in Manager device theres a yellow mark sm bus driver. Searching the forum I seem to have fould to her in the video driver ATI pack. But when the driver is loaded it messes up windows so it does not start.

Have you tried to install the infrared driver of the European driver Toshiba page?
It may be a keyIn any case, before you start the manual installation of the OS, you must read the Installation Instructions. You will find all drivers that must be installed and the proper installation order.
