Yet CS4 don't transcode or do blu ray

I couldn't get even get a bluray.  Built the first film. The dynamic link to get it in even without worries. So no dice.

I tried to import with dynamic link and then buliding immediately, errors of blueray to object ' premierproject) export file not found. "

The dynamic link creates 2 files in Encore, the chronology and something else, audio? The file that is not the timeline say non-transcoded. Right-click and choose transcode I see the load alllll the way to complete, bar progress hear a ding from the speakers... and nothing. Is not yet exterieuree-transcoded. If I try to re - transcode the progress bar starts, btu I hear the ding in a few seconds.

I have tried many suggestions looking around, running in administrator mode, deleting caches, removing the entire project, re-record the two first files and more files.

Help, please.

I did a DVD with the same program when I was using XP 32 bit. I'm definitely not a PRO, but should be able to do a simple family movie on a disc.

In my view, there is a bug that someone on the forum for the generated files first considered not h264 as of the legal in another.

This is the case when the file has been exported using a preset VBR 2 Pass.

Try exproting using 1 pass VBR or CBR. Need to say do not transcode in yet.

Thank you

Ramesh.

I think it was me a few weeks ago? Well I had this problem with 2 pass, I changed it to 1 pass and sesame.

The video file is exported as h.264, comes out as a file, .m4v, which once imported said not transcoded.

I used most of the default settings for bluray h.264, audio PCM the auto value parameters. I changed it to Dolby,

I think the video file has been auto 29.97 the default value, which is the highest. I left it there.

Maybe I put the video 'p' and the 29.97, that doesn't look like not to it's standard blu ray settings. 29.97 only available in '' i ''?

I will try to match the wiki the link settings.

What resolution/frame rate do you have used / use with success?

You can do 1080 p 29.97 or 30. 1080 p will not be 23.976/24. If you want 29.97, it MUST be 'I' so just follow what are the legal video specifications, depends on the size of YOUR source footage, determine what you think the best choice for your delivery to be film.

as much as I, I usually stay on 1080i60 1 pass, sometimes 720p59.94 1-pass, but I did it only once. or for my super long SD disks (where I cram as 12 hours of footage on a disk) 480i29.97 I pass. (it annoys me REALLY, for the blu - ray it abolished 480 p, but its legal on DVD. huh?)

  • CS4 - Adobe Media Encoder-> still - H.264 Blu - ray

As many people are aware, transcoding yet can sometimes be less than optimal. I played with the settings of the SOUL and with the help of other people on these and other forums sliced all the right settings, while still would treat my native DVD quality videos and do not attempt to transcode the.

I am now trying my hand at the Blu - Ray and facing me similar problems, but so far I have not really found any answers that have worked. According to my research, the following should work:

    SOUL

    TV standard: NTSC

    _Audio_

I disabled because I'm using DD 5.1 encoding and for the quality of DVD, I learned that multiplexing is a no-no to prevent still trying to transcode the things of multiplexing. I guess the same applies to the Blu - Ray, so I'm not really worried about the Audio.

I tried a number of other parameters around these (including using 29.97 frame rate to match my source), but after 4 days trying different things with the SOUL, I am completely puzzled. What I want is someone to be kind enough to post their settings, in the level of detail above, allowing them to import an asset again so that it does not transcode the video.

I know there are other tools out there that can do these things, but I paid my $ for Adobe Mastersuite so that he would do these things for me. If possible, I would definitely stay with these tools.

I don't know if it's important, but my source is that a Panasonic HDC-TM700 set to record 1080 p 30 (I do not use of their proprietary format of 60 frame). I have successfully reduced this source with SOUL DVD quality. I also managed issued by SOUL 1080 p which was uploadable on Youtube. Still, I'm not sure it is important to others that I have used my source video. Here are the properties of the video according to the first:

    Type: MPEG Movie

    File size: 2.6 GB

    Image size: 1920 x 1080

    Sampling: 32

My actual clip is about 6 min, but my intention is to use clips of up to an hour in length.

Oh, I'm not sure if it is clear from my above information, but I'm not using Adobe Dynamic Link. I don't know if it is my problem, but my attempt to use has not produced the results I was looking for either.

Thanks in advance for your time and to make it this far in my post

Normal audio transcoding.  Blu - Ray, you can manually than to use the right PCM change.

I just tried very preset and video, as expected, was listed as not transcode as Blu - ray.  Make sure you are looking not to the status of transcoding from DVD?

  • Strange bug in Encore CS5.5 Blu - ray encoding

I noticed this bug recently and I was wondering how many of you have experienced...

Normally, we encrypt our videos in SOUL prior to importation in yet. Most of the time we simply encode h.264 Blu - ray CBR, but for this project, we wanted 2-pass VBR (also h.264) encoding.

When you import all 6 videos encoded in yet, we noticed that 3 of them always told that they had to be transcoded. The other 3 have not. All 6 videos have been encoded with the same exact settings; 2 - pass VBR h.264 Blu - ray and all at the same time in the SOUL, but 3 of them remained transcoding. So we thought that maybe the videos were corrupt and re-transcoded one just to see if that would solve the problem.

After transcoding, we re-imported and notice must still be transcoded. So we thought that we could fool again by doing a right click on the active and seeking assets transcoded for Blu - ray. We chose the same video, and he says now that the video is transcoded. During the build process, while it was loading this asset, he got almost to the end and then spit out this error:

    Error: "invalid format", Code: "14."
Note: "ERROR: this stream don't include photo Calendar SEI, Offset unit =
    blah blah...".

Thus, we tried to think about what we did differently this time (we build dozens of Blu - ray discs per month) and it was the 2-pass VBR. So we re-encoded this video as a CBR, charge, and he said do not transcode as expected. We could then build this project successfully.

But the fun does not stop there. We noticed some things that should be changed in the creation (button routing, etc.), so we returned to the project to see that 3 other videos now say no transcoded! Nothing had changed, this time, he decided to not load of other ones that were 2-pass VBR which had loaded and built perfectly fine the last time around.

Now, this is not your bug Encore-not-remembering-that-you-transcoded-the-videos typical... these files were transcoded before they were even imported in yet!

We tried the same trick with loading itself as a transcoded file to Blu - ray, and it spits out the same error during the generation. We have never had this problem in CS4... Is this something the way that SOUL is videos of 2-pass VBR encoding? Or is - how still is 2-pass VBR video error checking? Whatever it is, it seems to happen only with 2-pass VBR encoded h264 files. All this experience?

It is a bug. It's when encode you an asset with h264 2 pass preeset and import into encore. This introduced in CS5 somehow. This bug is caused by Sonic (3rd third-party tool) wrongly interpret the assets. Try with h264 vbr 1 pass preset and there should be no problem.

  • Blu - Ray OK, DVD version gives 'General error' on the construction of disc image

When you generate the final .iso file of the DVD disc image, I got a warning of 'General error' during one of the final steps. The Blu - Ray since the same project worked perfectly. The error occurred not during video transcoding, but just after the attempt to transcode a file audio small .wav for background music on the menu. Yet once, it worked well for the Blu - Ray, it's 16 bits, 48 kHz, etc.. All menus and video and audio previews also showed no sign of distress.

Any ideas what to look for? Final for the .iso to DVD transcoding took like 6 hours so I want as supposition little and check the work as possible! Thank you!

How long is the audio? It may be simply too short to encode a correct DVD. If so, open it in Soundbooth and add silence at the end.

  • 'Fill' a Blu - ray in Encore CS4 disc

Can anyone provide any comment here:

I bought a tower duplicator Blu - ray for duplication of records.  The problem is that Blu - ray discs I'm authoring in Encore CS4 are no overlap in the tower and producting errors.

The master drive plays very well, but told me the duplicator company that the issue is with the master drive not be "liquidated" when written out of our creation (yet) manufacturing application.  Therefore, the Replicator cannot work with the master drive.

Can someone tell what action I can take in the implementation of a project to ensure that the Blu - ray disc is liquidated when a disc ends?  I guess it's a simple setting I'm missing, but could use some deliberation here.

The disks I'm creating are simply 'play only', with no menu screen.

    Thank you

    MBS

I don't think that you are missing a parameter.

Since you are using a duplicator as a final step, I'll try the method of Sito (build still on file, imgburn create image file and imgburn burn disc image) and I would also try to build again to image, imgburn burn the image to disk.

If you arrive here, can Minu, you give us an update on this issue?

  • Yet CS5 insists on transcoding .m4v

    Kind of stuck here.

Try to author a Blu - ray player and I coded a large video file of first CS5 with Media Encoder CS5 using H.264 Blu - ray.

I still have it and then put the clips in again and she never try to transcode them but for this project, she insists on transcoding and the transcoded file packs in another 4 GB or more.

    Here is my encoding settings:

    Format: H.264 Blu - ray

Codec: The main Concept H.264 Video

    TV standard: automatic

    Frame dimensions: 1440 x 1080

    Rate: Auto

    Order the field: Auto

    Pixel format: automatic

    Profile: hand

    Level: 4.1

    Encoding Bitrate: VBR, 2 Pass

    Level Bitrate: Custom

    Target: 25Mbps

    Maximum: 30Mbps

I do not understand why not build without first transcoding.   The initial encoding took 20 hours and I can't wait to transcode the video again and I don't want the extra 4 GB.

Any ideas on what happened with my encodes, or is this a problem with yet?

    Thank you.

Made several comics with these parameters in first. No transcoding en was necessary.

  • Project yet for DVD & Blu - ray - I can clone it?

    Hello

I have a video ready to be exported from PremierePro and recorded in PAL 16:9 Full HD. Now, I need to create a DVD and a Blu - ray of the same video disc.

I want to only create a project and then clone so that I can use it for both media.

I have already created a project yet, pick a HD theme. I have now completed everything: I've only worked on the menu but no video, jet.

I would like to know if I can now duplicate the folder and dedicate a folder (still draft) for the DVD and the other folder for Blu - Ray or if this is not possible. I think this should be possible, because if the video is 16:9 for the two media there should be no difference; but do not know.

Don't forget, I've changed most of what the HD model had. I used just a few things.

If this is not possible, can you please teach me how to work on the menus and the preparation of the DVD, before I have to insert the video, once when I create two separate circles in order to reproduce the customizations?

I wish to create two projects still separate and do create all the menu from scratch twice.

Also, is there a valid book that I can buy being devoted to yet or is not required (perhaps because there is a lot of documentation on the Internet)? I learn properly.

    Thank you

In theory, this should be possible, but in reality I would create certainly 2 separate projects.

The main reason is that Blu - ray is 1920 x 1080 square pixels, DVD-video is 720 x 576 (PAL - more on this subject in a minute), and the pixels are rectangular, with the report being in the area of 1.4 PAL: 1 that can destroy a menu if simply scale you down because not only you lose half of your resolution vertical & almost 2/3 of your horizontal resolution , the pixels will be being stretched as well horizontally.

For these reasons, you will need to choose fonts on the screen very carefully for the DVD version and I would be absolutely for certainty make 2 separate menu fixed if it was my project.

PAL is not really an ideal standard to use, as it has a rate of 25 frames per second and you're simply unplayable outside the EU on the vast majority of the players & TV systems - you will definitely trouble to Japan & US.

To make things even more difficult, you can't use progressive scan in PAL resolution either - it's just not in the Blu - ray standard - you will need to use interlaced.

The video is probably the least of your worries, however. First & still may reduce but also make the necessary encoding MPEG-2 for DVD - personally I'd this separate 2 processes, review the decline in SD resolution first to a provisional 10-bit lossless codec and this review of a problem before I did the final version of MPEG-2 for DVD.

    Hope this helps

  • Yet 5.1 on OS 10.5.8 burn Blu - ray discs, but crashes during the generation of the same project DVD

I spent a few weeks creating a Blu - ray disc double layer with 20 menus and 44 timelines lengths ranging from 18 minutes 9 seconds.

The final product will be a double pack containing the replicated Blu - ray Disc and DVD.

I have pre-transcoded DVD and BD and related assets proper. The Blu - ray Disc built properly and seems to have no problems.

When I try to output in DVD Encore crashes almost immediately. I also tried to record just a DVD image, and it crashes at the same place.

I don't really want to recreate this entire program in DVDSP, but that's my plan.

    Other ideas would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

So I solved the problem by removing all the ac3 and m4v (including the related m2v) records on the SNA timlines replacing the original self-contained reference movies from FCP7. Then, I left still transcode and build from one day to the next, hop in the DVD to work one morning.

Now, I just need to transcode again for the Blu - ray or return to a backup...

  • Yet Cs4 create chapters

    Gentlemen!

    Windows Ultimate

    Yet CS4

I have a 3 hours and 25mins video (AVI NTSC)

Basically, it's a video family, which includes an Intro, part dance, dinner and ending

I wanted to make a DVD disc

So I imported my video as an asset and created a timeline for her

Now, how can I split the my at least 4 parts

Basically, I want to have 4 chapters in the main menu, like the first chapter would be the intro, the second chapter would be the dance part and so on...

But I must have at least 4 buttons on the main menu and each button represents a scene

    Thank you!

The best option for such a long video is to create like 4 videos, divided into 4 sections that you want.  Then, you link a button for each of the videos for the different sections, and you create a playlist 'play all'.  (You add a button in addition to the room of all.

With a timeline you'll have, you set a marker for chapter at the beginning of each section (Chapter 1 is defined by default in yet).  Do not forget that define you before chapter markers transcode you.  (Chapter markers must be limited to gop.  Still will take care of it as long as you set the chapter before transcoding.)

Your button "play all" will connect to this timeline.  You will create 4 chapter playlists (playlists CHAPTER, not a "playlist") with one (only) of the 4 chapters in a chapter playlist.  The buttons of your section will link to these chapter playlists.

You plan a disc double layer?  It's a lot of video to a single layer.  Jumps of layer sometimes create problems with long delays.

  • Blu - ray - why are H.264 motion menus re-transcoded in MPEG2?

I have a project of BR 720p50 with motion menus. During the generation of the BR menu motion disc are re-transcoded by again to MPEG2 eventhough the project default conversion settings are defined in the format H.264, 1280 x 720, 50 images per second. Media on the timelines do not re - transcode in MPEG2. Yes, I can find the .m2v in the Sources\Menus folder.

Transcode transcode status/BR BR settings for the movement of the menus are / are defined for transcode Don t.

I have no audio in menus of movement and they are transcoded h.264 in Adobe Media Encoder CS5 @ CBR, 11,11 MB/s, so the baud rate Maximum video Audio/Maximum @ 15.0 Mbps in still should be ok. (All media in the project are trancoded with SOUL CS5 @ the same settings as well).

I have transitions between each menu and they are not re-transcoded in MPEG2, so menus chapter and menu are re-transcoded then transitions are left intact by again. I can read the disc burned with no problems.

It seems strange to create motion menus to the H.264 format to see their re-converted to MPEG2 in Encore CS5.

No one knows why this happens?

    / Roger

There will be no problems with the menus of mpeg2 and h264 video. You can mix and match all different codecs, resolutions, display rate on a Blu - ray disc without any problems.

I would like to modify, menu and burn my files mt2s to BluRay, however after reading here
