I thought I read enough forums. I understood that in order to get even (so that I could create a dvd with chapters), I would need to uninstall my first pro (CC) and then would have the possibility to download first pro in its previous version (CS6) which included yet. This was not the case. After uninstalling first pro CC, I have learned that I now only have an option to 'TRY' first pro 2015.3. Yikes!
The little drop-down menu never showed up. No other option is never not presented. Really, I still need and trust that I could get it. What can I do now?
Where again, seriously? If it is no longer available will be someone just tell me?

-HARD drive failed after renewal of antivirus software trial period.
-All diagnoses would not recognize the HARD drive.
-Support HP said still in warranty, but I am out of country. HP said more was likely HARD drive cable.
-Buy cables and a hand off USA door.
-Installed, always the same answer.
-Ordered the new HP's HARD drive. Out of stock. Finally inquiring was commissioned to a part 3rd US rep. He recommended to buy directly from output, but higher speed. Did this and then HP replacement HARD drive arrives. Both outside the U.S. door hand.
-Install the fastest (slightly smaller) Seagate 500G 7200. Has started the recovery with discs of recovery (5 in total who received from BestBuy, but not the OEM to the research), but before the new HARD drive is smaller than the original WD 640 G 5400. Put WD #1 Bay and Seagate in #2.
-Start the process of disk recovery. Any resumption of the process of the plant and on the last drive-through, it says do not touch while the PC starts on and outside, etc. Said so press on continue continue.
-When the press continue, simply goes to the black screen with "No boot device...". »
-Run the other options, the same message.
-Diagnosis of ran. Drive HARD everything is OK.

@=""It seems that I managed to solve the problem on my own. Did two things:
1 set the registry keys determine programs associated objects 'Répertoire', 'Drive' and 'File' to the default values by using the settings found here: http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\2. If you want to have permissions for group 'Users' to read all these keys in the registry. For some reason any access worked only partly for standard users.
Not sure who finally solved this problem, but after I had finished 1. and 2. for the purpose of 'Record', by clicking on 'My computer' and any folder works normally for all users of the computer.
I suspect that some recent installation of program which adds actions associated with these objects messed up the registry. Suspects are Norton Antivirus and dbPowerAmp.

Welcome to the forum!
You can get your search companion to Windows Search 4.0 uninstall feature. You can do this:
· Click Start
· Click on Control Panel
· Click Add or remove programs
· Right-click Windows Search 4.0
· Click Remove
It will come back to your system by using the search instead of the Windows Search Assistant.

The time on the clock continues to change at the wrong time.
First of all, make sure that your clock is set to the correct time zone.
Right click on the clock.
Select adjust date and time.
Then select change time zone.
If your time zone is correct, you may have a bad CMOS battery but you can get around it by having the system more often with the internet time synchronization.
- Go to start
- Success and type task entry
- Click the arrow on the left next to the Task Scheduler Library
- Click the arrow next to Microsoft
- Click the arrow next to windows
- Click the folder to synchronize the time
- At the top right click on Synchronize
- Click on properties
- Go down and check run with highest privileges
- Click the triggers at the top tab
- Double-click the trigger that is listed in the box of
- On the top of the page task Begin at startup
- Uncheck delay task
- Check Repeat task (change in 5 minutes)
- On the right hand side change indefinitely the duration of
- Click OK twice
Exit Task Scheduler
Turning the computer off and see if it works

Problem with Windows XP Movie Maker. You try to view saved WMV format results in arrested image creation, but the music continues. Tried to re-record and solve the problem, no luck. Can properly view in Movie Maker as a project, but not the final version in WMV format.
More details: I saved my Windows XP Movie Maker project in WMV format. I taped 3 ways: at my computer on a flash drive and a CD - r. Everything seemed fine until I try to see the movie. The video freezes on a different image in each of the places I recorded it, but the music continues & it's in the same place every time depending on what I am posting with (the computer it freezes on a certain task, the flash on another, the cd on another), tried re-register but it always does the same thing... gel on a photo but the music continues. Help! I can't find a solution anywhere. PS Please answer me "simply", as I'm not too computer savvy.

Some experiments to try.(1) create a small project with just a few pictures and see if it will play.
(2) use .bmp photos to create the project instead of .jpg photos.
(3) remove all transitions and resave the project as .wmv and see it it helps.

How about if you change the settings of the router wireless. Change the width of the channel at 20 Mhz and select 9 as the standard channel under the 2.4 Ghz settings. For 2.4 GHz wireless security settings, you must set the security settings wireless personal WPA2 and AES as the encryption. BTW, you have problems in your laptop only, or with computers portable mutiple because if you don't have a laptop then you must try to update drivers wireless card from your cell phone.
