  Well, since I'm testing with friends, I downloaded all in a folder and then told them to click on the jad file.  They were able to see all the files even if, as the record was available.

  Hello Kangalarue, the steps that you might want to take depending on what technologies sites use to display animations. Here are two tips for the most commonly used animations:

  • Adobe Flash movies: you can go to the menu firefox > addons > plugins and set the "always ask" - shockwave flash plugin and then no flash content will automatically be played. then, you can control this behavior through the small plugin icon that appears to the left of the address bar, once the content plugin is stuck on a page.
  • Animated GIFs: some animations could be simple image files that contain an animation and loop indefinitely. You can control their behavior for all pages like this: enter Subject: config in the address bar (and confirm the warning dialog box), search for the preference called "image.animation_mode".   The driver is big enough, I would say save to disk, and then run the installation program.  You could do a right click on the link here, select "Save as", then download the file.  Depending on your internet speed, it make take some time downloading.  If it doesn't for you please specify exactly what is happening when you try to download the file, and any error messages see you.

  You must set up your default email program to send on a Web site.  Go to control panel | Default programs and set your default e-mail program there.  If your e-mail program is web-based, then you probably can't use this feature (sends the Web site file), then you may need to copy the site, and then paste it into a new message and then send it.

  Applications that are designed for the iPad or mobile devices will not work on an iMac. They are two different species, even if they have the same name.

  Also the applications that have been purchased on an Apple ID are always connected to this ID and cannot be redownloaded by an another Apple ID.  Apple ID can be joined or merged.  Also e-mail addresses that have been used for an Apple ID may not be reused for a different Apple ID.

  Applications for the iPad are obtained through the iTunes store, while the Mac apps are purchased through the App Store.  Two very different stores.

  So, you can buy the apps you want for the Mac on the App Store.
