YouTube or Firefox don't remember settings - choose your language

Since a few days now everytime I open a youtube page it will ask me to choose my language in a large blue bar on the top of the page. This happens when moving to a video to watch, or return to the main page of youtube. Nothing changes. I tried to delete cookies, clear cache, which does not help. Playback also options to not record. Annotations and legends can be disabled once but move on to the next video or main page and they have not been registered and these options back to default. Also the autorun on the bottom right of the video screen button not stay off, go to a new video or return to the homepage and reset as well.

I don't know if it's a problem of youtube or firefox. A community for this issue page was opened on youtube, here.

https://productforums.google.com/forum/#! topic/youtube/fkxTCtDlbAg; context-place = topicsearchin/youtube/choose$ $20your 20language| sort: date

Options or suggestions to help solve this problem would be appreciated

I had temporarily solved the problem by choosing in the world as my country. Playback settings were not saved, but at least he got rid of the bar. Now, I went to check and went account he had changed me in Canada as my position and I wasn't getting any blue bar. Also my reading settings are now saving again.

Rush idea of what happened, but I think the problem must have been on the end of youtube, because I did not something for firefox since I changed my countries around the world. However, going to keep this page handy, just in case it happens again.

  • Firefox don't remember my password.

Firefox will not remember my passwords, popup box does not appear. I checked my settings, but I can't hang on the passwords of websites "Remember" - definition, it has a light grey color. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Maybe you accidentally turn off the pop up box? Try to go to Firefox and then click on the menu and click on Prefrenences (Linux, Mac) or Options (Windows)
Click Security, and then make sure that the box saying remember passwords for sites is checked. If this is not the case, click on the box. If the box is grayed out, go to settings of privacy and of course she says "Firefox will remember the story. If not, click on it and click on "do not forget history."

Firefox has always remembered my last session and restored all the tabs when I came back. Now he comes and tells me the output I'm closing multiple tabs. That's happened? Now I'm back to my homepage. It's weird. How to always restore my last session?

It's like that for quite some time now. Firefox saves your browsing session all the time; have Firefox always open your previous session is set in Options > general = when starting Firefox - view my tabs, windows, and last time

  • Preferences > privacy don't remember settings

    Hello

If I put Firefox 'never forget history. He returned to "Use the custom settings for history" instantly.
    Why is this?

It's OK and the expected behavior

"Use the custom settings for history" to view the current settings of the story and cookie, you can inspect and see them.
Selection of custom parameters does not alter the historical settings and cookies.
Firefox will display "Use the custom settings for history" as an indication that at least one story and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that the changes have been made.
If all the history settings are default, custom settings are hidden and see you "conservation rules: (never) don't forget history."
"Never remember history" means that private browsing is active and "Always use private browsing mode" Gets a check mark.
"Use the custom settings for history" remains selected until one of the parameters of Cookie or history isn't the default to make you aware that the default setting changes have been made.

I got 20 tabs in firefox, firefox crashed and after that it doesn't remember the tabs when restarted, it loads with the right amount of tabs, but they are all empty and named "new tab".

I deleted sessionstore.js and .bak, but that does not change when I close firefox and sessionstore.js opens, I see having stored the old tabs, just used load them during startup.

I don't like the lost tabs, I just want the function runs again, any ideas?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

  • The story disappeared. Firefox don't remember story

Not in private mode. Settings to say remember the history. Everything else seems OK.

What is your computer system and the version of Firefox?

    History and cookies can be deleted or not saved several ways;

    • (1) private Firefox running in Mode (nothing is recorded)
    • (2) privacy settings; (Type Subject: preferences #privacy in the address bar.)
    • (3) many disk cleaners and antivirus programs may delete data from browsers. Open the settings and let the only browsers.
    • (4) mal-ware.

The problem may be caused by the settings clear history. It was supposed have been fixed in v30.

Type of topic: preferences #privacy in the address bar. The button next to history, select use custom settings.

At the bottom of the page, turn clear history when Firefox closes. At the extreme right, press the settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and history research and form without touching the others offshore.

  • Firefox don't remember the tabs (pinned or not) on shutdown.

Okay, I'm trying to breathe deeply here and not to lose my head.

I use two computers side by side. Both are Win7 64 bit... * TWO * machines began to play until tonight. The second machine was running FF locked in a minimized state, and after a few words of curse of choice and an hour of my life, I was able to google-shoot the problem (finding my way here and the answer).

However, this machine exposes the most frustrating behavior. It won't save a sessions/tabs/pinned app tabs. It worked very well for well over a year and decided to OOP bed earlier.

To try to solve this problem, as suggested on this site:
-J' deleted restore session .js files in the profile folder. It did not help.
-J' checked and double checked and recorded my history settings of the browser and privacy that I saw on this site, they seem to all be defined properly (Show Windows and tabs is selected, and I chose to keep the browser history).

Overall, none of these things have worked. In addition:
-I have not installed the extensions or played with settings.
    -J' restarted the computer.
-J' checked CCleaner and is not set to fiddle with anything associated with FF.

It seems strange that both machines will play until the same night, and both are mind-bogglingly frustrating.

    Help, please!

Well, I think I got this thing licked, and Mozilla better be careful here...

I think that the problem was caused by advertising windows, as when I started FF and tried to restore the session, he was trying to tell me that the session, which was reduced to a minimum was rubbish hotels I had not come, but I HAD seen a recent pop up ad that ran a title that I'm sure it was the same.

So, here: Mozilla - somehow stop pop - ads to force a new window in Firefox and it should stop many of these garbage to occur.

  • Firefox don't remember the username and password for Constant Contact

Contact updated their login this week, and now Firefox does not save the login information and password, even though I set it to do. Have tried all of the fixes suggested in Firefox Help. Works great for everything as usual, but is no longer remembered constantly in touch once I close Firefox and restart. Save the user name as long as I do not close Firefox, it won't save password to anything.

This site uses use autocomplete = off to prevent Firefox to save and fill in the name and the password.

You can remove autocomplete = off with a bookmarklet to register the name and the password of Firefox.

  • Firefox don't remember how I specified.

Whenever I want to use Firefox it does not account for the homepage, mail2world.com, I put. I run Windows 19, and I guess I'm not quite used to rhat one yet. Windows XP was MUCH better!

Is the homepage as shown in "Options/Preferences > general ' change or did you only this other page when you start Firefox?

You can check the target line in the shortcut to the Firefox desktop (right click: properties) to make sure that nothing is added after the path to the Firefox program.

When this change happens (end/restart Firefox or restart)?

If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:

  • Why is my firefox does not remember settings for bar add-on, spaces, etc.?

I put a few extensions for display in the bar of addons, but every time I put a few spaces and relocate, gets it more fuzzy space more and remembers him like that.
After defining the spaces, on every restart, it automatically grants them in his own way?

It happens only with me? Help, please?

Maybe this is caused by another extension that does not work properly.
