  Hey all, I recently (3 weeks ago orsomething) bought a new laptop, a Toshiba Satellite l670-143.

  But this last week ive been keyboard problems. The problem is not always present, but when his present is not weather im play, surf the internet or write an important document.
  I'm not sure at 100% what the problem is, I spent hours trying to understand and to remedy, but nothing seems to help. But when I press a P, I sometimes PPPs.   To be honest, if an external keyboard is working correctly I think that it s a hardware malfunction and keyboard connected internally. I doubt it of a virus or something else because the same mistake happen on an external keyboard as well.

  In addition to the keyboard there is no special driver, it of a part of Windows so that you can t update the keyboard driver.

  Now in your case I would take with the closest authorized service provider contact. Your laptop is only 3 weeks so it s under warranty. If you communicate with ASP, they can view the workbook, and if you need a new keyboard, the repair is free. :)

  I am a new user of Toshiba, I have a new Toshiba laptop as a model of its Satellite C660 / C660D, I use my new laptop for 6 months and I have some kind of a lot of time on my laptop. Sometimes I keep it open for more than 10 hours.

  My problem is like 3-4 months at the bottom right of the screen there is a caution came out as "there's something wrong with your hard drive, you should give it to any service of Toshiba for warranty".
  But it happened because I played on users, I mean users option for windows, not something material, changing just the current user name caused this and he now has weird name when I reversed the name change; He turned to something like TOSH ~ 1, etc.

  After several times, I mean like 1 month ago, my computer got very slow. Video games with their high resolution, but now the phone LAGS even I put it in low resolution, I played...   It is not easy to say what the problem is here. In General, you should think about upgrading the RAM to the maximum level. With more RAM laptop should have more power and different operations should be made much more quickly.

  From my point of view, this temperature is normal and certainly not too high. When you use your laptop, place it on the office and ensure that the cooling fan and cooling rack are free and not blocked.

  Don t open your laptop. Anyway, you can't do anything except to void your warranty. RAM upgrade can be done by the owner of the laptop and it will not void your warranty.

  I installed mac os 10.8 and migrated my user account on using the migration wizard, then I upogarded to el cap.

  Since I got it I noticed there is sometimes a LAG/beachballing. for example, when I go to Apple > about this mac > storage. the beach ball does not last long, maybe 3 to 5 seconds, but it happens with other applications also. IM wondering is it because I have no turn trim?

• Battery GS728TS with interfaces and the LAG problems

  We have 2 x GS728TS (running firmware 5.3.0.26) switches connected together in a pile with double stacking cables.

  There are 4 servers connected to the battery through the LAG. Each LAG is composed of 4 members and 2 VLANS, 2 on each switch in the stack. Each server running multiple virtual machines.

  Until recently, everything worked fine. However the last week we have suddenly taken in an issue where some (not all) computer virtual on a host could not communicate with VM on other hosts and vice versa.

  After investigation, we discovered that the entries in the ARP on the troublesome VM table did not contain correct entries. Restart the virtual machine has not resolved this. so I restarted the battery and after a long period of time (15 min) the battery came and most of the questions have disappeared, but not entirely.

  So, I checked the table of addresses on the stack of the switch and found that it contains 'bad' entries as well. It shows that some have learned mac addresses are on specific interfaces instead of a lag, and also sometimes these interfaces are not even part of the specified LAG.

  If I turn off one switch and keep it turned off (or the other) then everything starts working correctly again.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  During an extended last night maintenance window, I turned off and removed all the power to the two switches in the battery for about 5 minutes.

  I re-applied then power on both switches and after allowing then to start, check and they now seem to be working properly again.

  I just re-checked the switches (about 8 hours later) and they don't always work very well - no notice or detected problems.

I use an Edimax IP camera (model IC - 3110p) I currently streaming using VLC X asset control and then call the node to add the target and play the stream. I was able to find the raw video stream, and I use that as the uri in the control. My project also includes the startup OR Robotics 1.0 kit which has a compact single board RIO on I looked into this as a solution as well, but I think that only the Basler cameras and Axis Network are supported on Compact RIO. The video is streaming OK but I had a lag in like 2 seconds, which can cause problems when I add it to the robot. I was just curious to know if anyone had any other suggestions for this problem. (buy a new camera is not is an option I've tried cheap school). Also, I tried to get audio through VLC as well. When I give the node invoke my raw video (currently http://URL+/mjpg/video.mjpg) disseminates IP camera but let that audio and the invoke node will not accept the URL directly.  I'm relatively new to the acquisition of vision in LabVIEW and this is my first post a problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  I had the chance to try to run your program, and I also saw that there was a disconnect. However, when I tried to start the stream in VLC in itself, I saw again the offset. This makes me think that the shift is from VLC and not communication between VLC and LabVIEW. When I tried typing in Measurement & Automation Explorer directly, there was no lag.

  Most IP cameras are not supported by IMAQdx and therefore wouldn't appear in MAX. However, there is a 3rd party utility that can emulate an IMAQdx device based on network flow, of an IP camera, which is contained in this knowledge base article. I suggest that you try to view the stream to the MAX to see if you still see the shift. If there is no lag, then the issue is definitely with VLC or stream.

  My acer w700p delivered in 2013 with window 8.0 iconia tablet, the camera has functioned... the image on the screen was clear, that the windows camera app has been very sensitive.  If you have moved the Tablet/camera, the screen updated instantly, like a phone or device is.

  After update to 8.1 m app photo and material "to work", but it has some issues:

  1. the application it self is supper lag.  If I tap to save an image, or load options, it is laggy
  2. The screen is not updated when you move the camera... it takes some 15 seconds on the screen to be updated when you move the camera to the tablet.  This is true for video and still
  3. This occurs in the application of acer crystal too

  I contacted Microsoft, who told me to get an updated driver.  Acer said it is a Microsoft driver and they are not responsible, although it worked well in 8.0

  Microsoft argues that they have found the real part of the camera, but the last pilot, they found is the same than in 2006 that update windows to apply.

  starting from 15/01/2015, Microsoft and acer said they intensified this top-level support and someone will get back to me.

  Acer offers I do a system restore that calls 8.0 on, then update.  I did this twice myself, and repair acer did twice and not fixed.

  Someone has the camera works smoothly to the point 8.1?  someone has a link to a newer driver?

  I wouldn't go back to 8.0 just for a camera to work, cause 8.1 overall was better

  I had the same problem when I upgraded to 8.1 on my w700 a year and half ago.

  You must change your battery power plan settings.  go on change Plan settings > change advanced power settings > Intel platform & thermal dynamic parameters > Low Power Mode and change to allow specific Application for battery and turn off when it is plugged.  It has nothing to do with the camera itself.

• Overheating/game lag, DV7-1270us

  My problem is with overheating, I have had this laptop for a while, and although I have maintained, it has been much used. I installed a few games, and everything by playing them, it is not uncommon for the laptop to overheat and shut down. The laptop is normally warm enough when it is long periods of time (but doesn't stop generally), the fan works and goes faster when the laptop does many things.

  My problem with this is, let's say for example I play GTA IV; This laptop is equipped to play this game, based on the minimum hardware recommended and also recommended (not to mention CPU) so naturally I guess play it's going to be no lag, no problem. This is not the case as for other recent games, Mafia II, Dead Island and others have given me the same problem, market and playing usually gives me good FPS (playable in any case) but after maybe ten minutes, very rude gal starts, I'd get a maximum of 10 fps, if even that, though, I know my system takes care of everything.

  So far, I have

  -Open the laptop, cleaned, ensuring no dust is in

  -Defragment drive C together, had more than 50 fragments k

  -J' use software gamebooster when playing games to ensure without resources is wasted on background programs

  -Tweaked my settings 3D geforce nvidia to optimize performance

  -Tweaked settings in game, low graphics, etc.

  -Update to the latest graphics card drivers

  This maybe has me a bit of extra FPS, so you can see my frustrations, I've exhausted all the options that I know, that's why I came here, lag problems seem to be related to the problem of overheating because as I said booting games since a laptop cool, means usually only playable FPS, but shift begins as the laptop heats up and uses 100% cpu power.

  My only other thought would replace thermal paste. It's quite painful surgery that I don't want to even try unless I know it will help, is there any other cause that would explain why this is happening?
