• Everyone is that MS Word will cease to display paste options after the upgrade to the latest version of Firefox?

  I've recently updated to Firefox 26. I have a PC running Windows XP Professional SP3. I also use Microsoft Word 2007. Recently, when I copy something and paste it into a Word document, I see more the little button that lets me choose Paste options ("Match destination formatting", etc.). Note that I checked the box in the options that says "options button to see the dough.

  I can't be absolutely sure of that, but I suspect the update of Firefox and the sudden disappearance of my button paste options are linked. (This may seem unlikely, but I read on another forum that someone had the same problem after installing Skype, then perhaps it is not impossible).

  If someone has had this problem, or no one knows the solution (or not related to Firefox)?

  Thank you, everyone, for your help. I found the solution, and it has nothing to do with Firefox.

  In case anyone wants to know, I had an Add-In for MS Word. When I disabled it Add Ins, the problem of the Options button paste missing disappeared.

• Unable to paste the screenshots in u MS Paint

  I can't paste the screenshots of the Internet using MS Paint - Version 6 (2007). When I use the PrSc, can't do the editing and paste or Ctrl / P options actually paste the screenshot taken out web in paint.  I was able to use it in the past... and the 'dough' OE seems locked.  Is there a way to disable this or fix it?

  I'm sorry I wasn't more clear with my description... after that I took the shot, just paint refuses t let me paste in any direction - 'paste' appears frozen or link is dead - it will not highlight for me to use :(

• Re-enabling the function paste

  With the new allow button paste to the top of the pop I like much more that the old style, I find myself sometimes hit denied by accident or by pressing the key at the wrong time.  Once you click on refuse then you cannot paste anything in and the only way I found to clear which is to refresh the page or start over.  I was wondering if there was a way to manually authorize stick upward without start again?

  This is a feature which is quite deeply embedded in the platform, it is not possible for us to change behavior.  Next year, we will do another platform upgrade to a version that has a much better editor and will solve a lot of problems, that the community has reported.    Best regards, Robert

• Cannot paste settings to multiple Photos of development

  I am under Lightroom V3.2 and I have about 100 photos that I took at a concert.  I changed the exposure, brightness, etc and the noise reduction and copied the development parameters.  If I paste the settings on any photo into one, the dough works very well.  However, I would like to paste these settings to all 100 photos at a time.  In the film strip, I select several photos, and little matter how to paste it (usually with the big block at the bottom left of the screen to develop key), the settings are applied to only the selected photo to the right in the film.  I've tried everything I can think of, but I can't get the settings to be applied to multiple photos at the same time.  Any suggestions?

  Hat most likely your problem is due to being in the Loupe. Switch to view grid so using the button paste, otherwise use development settings > paste settings in the film context menu.

• Problems with version 28

  From the moment where I updated the version 28 of Firefox a few days ago whenever I write a link in the toolbar and press 'go to address' or press enter, it refuses to load whatever it is and just stay where he is.   Try to open a new window to see if it works.

  Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problem.

  If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a profile already used in the new profile, but be careful not to copy files corrupted to avoid transporting on the problem

• FF28 upgrade & all the addons are showing that off, even if they are enabled

  Upgrade to FF28 & addons all + userscripts show that disabled, even if they are enabled.

  I already tried to delete:
  addons. JSON
  Compatibility.ini
  Extensions.ini
  Extensions. JSON
  Extensions.SQLite

  All that done as a cause of Firefox go in a "reboot several times 50 times more than one by one and each time asked me to manually install each addon. The process took more than 5 minutes and left me very impressed by the ability of Firefox bugs.

  End result? I am still sitting with the same problem. All the addons are showing that off, when they are turned on in fact. I cannot change them, uninstalled them or install new addons.

  PS. Oh and I write of Sleipnir not Firefox because Firefox has refused to work with the buttons on this page for some reason any (yes I'm allowing scripts in NoScript)
  PPS. Oh and my old account here for some reason some refused to open a session, even though I wrote the user name and password and I tried using the user AND email for the login process. Overall, very impressed with the services of Mozilla for now. I really want to move to a different browser.
  PPP. I have over 300 tabs open in Firefox, so can't go on the road to reset, because Firefox has no way to record a session.

  Honestly, Firefox must be transportable by default. What the point of having a browser that you spent 12 months + customization with 300 + tabs open, if your Windows partition is damaged and you cannot retrieve your tabs because it is installed? I will never use the installed version of Firefox again because it is impossible to save. If I had been using portable Firefox at the time where I could have accessed my XP partition corrupted with Ubuntu live USB, back up the folder and be good to go on my new install of Windows 8. Instead I had to start from scratch. That's what you get for not using of portable software.

  This is resolved. The steps that I followed:

  1. Ignore all the Internet advice and find a way to do it myself because no one else seems to know anything about Firefox.
  2. Save the entire Firefox portable folder making it a 7zip file
  3. Disable all addons
  4. Download the latest mobile Installer
  5. Install using the portable Installer but navigate up to the existing installed cell phone directory
  6. Open portable Firefox after updating
  7. Update all addons (do not select all again)
  8. Restart Firefox
  9. Now activate the addons, then restart Firefox

  Note: installing addons now I find that I can't add using the button 'Download' for the addon, I have to copy the URL of the button, paste it in a new tab and press enter

• I can't copy pictures to my pictures from web sites folder etc...

  I tried several times to copy images from web sites. When I right click on the photo I then click on "copy image". When I right click in my pictures the button "Paste" does not shine so I can't copy images.

  I just download fire fox yesterday. Is there something that I need to download or add-on to be able to copy photos, etc. I never had this problem with Internet Explorer.

  These features make accessible to the general public through the driver supplied with the HP full feature software, by your description I guess you have mistakenly added the In-OS driver included in Windows 8.

  This means that you have tried inadvertently open a shortcut with a program, rather than an existing file.  To solve the problem:

  1 - Copy the following command: %systemroot%\system32\rstrui.exe

  2 - Click the Start button, paste into the command (or type it) in the bottom search box and press ENTER.

  3 - follow the instructions to restore your computer to a date prior to the issue occurring.

  First of all, I would like to say a big thank you for those of you with all the necessary knowledge to help with questions here on this forum.  It has greatly helped me with my projects and I encountered problems.

  Yesterday I was working on a project and was able to use transitions to my titles, but today I can not use them at all.  Apply the button past never green for me.  I did something to disable this?

  The these all separate titles, or you try to apply Animations to text to text more than one block in the same title?

  Also, are your long titles over a line? Text animations work only on single-line text blocks.

  Hi, see controls customize Firefox, buttons and toolbarsand click on restore default settings.

  If this does not help, Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
