  • Battery Lenovo Z510 problem

Greetings! I have a Lenovo Z510 8 GB Ram, Core i7, 1 TB hdd, I bought less than a year ago. Off late I've known major battery issues. He started with the laptop stopping randomly without warning, even if there is a life on the left, for example. PCT of 90 or more. This worsened when the laptop did not start at all, until I plugged in the charger. The only way I can now exploit the laptop is connecting to the charger, but again, the battery remains at 0 of the pct, does not load. The battery light continues to flash red, also, I used a BatteryInfoView application to analyze it, and it still says battery reached 83 percent of its original capacity, however, I get a message every time at startup saying the battery is low and needs to be replaced. What can I do about it? Thank you.

  • BATTERY LENOVO IDEAPAD Z510 PROBLEM

I bought Z510 a year back, in this short time I am facing battery problem. Battery won't charge and the system to keep plugged in a State with each use.

I'm a home user and use the laptop for a limited time. I don't understand why lenova did not provide a removable battery that can be changed by the user only.

Now new battery is not available on the market, also that Lenova simply made it their responsibility saying laptop in not less than warranty.

I ask Lenovo go to analysis of root causes of this problem that hundreds of people face the same problem in this model.

Hope Lenovo would provide some software to assist the problem or at least to give the details of the service provider where the batteries can be repaired or replaced.

  • Battery - Lenovo Z510

Hi friends, I have a strange problem. More than a year ago, I bought a Lenovo Z510 which worked well. Unfortunately, just after a year of purchase, the battery started to pose a problem. I talked to the person interested in India who quickly rejected my plea for a new battery. As a result the battery was no charge and rest to 0% power. The service staff tested and concluded that the battery was low and in need of replacement. For all reasons, I haven't bought the new battery. Recently, I was to format my laptop for other reasons, and over time, he began to support up to 100% and has worked for about an hour that was actually fun. But my concern is that the event as to why and how it happens. My other question is that how long it would go. Was it due to formatting and updates! Please throw some light and reason it please. • Battery Lenovo Edge 15 unauthorized error

I have a Lenovo Edge 15 80H10004US. It's about five months. Recently, I noticed that the battery has a red X on it, and although it is reported that plugged in charge, he never takes a charge. If I disconnect the AC power that the laptop turns off in one to two seconds. I read many similar problems with the older models, but not mine. Similar recommendations that seem to include measures such as the removal of dough that is not possible (AFAIK with on the cancellation of the guarantee), turn off the system as a Hard Reset and uninstall the battery ACPI drivers. These steps have not solved my problem. The Energy Manager lists the battery as unauthorized and tells me to get it replaced.

I would like to get a few patches, other recommendations that send them to the Lenovo or have the Geek Squad to fix (it was purchased from Best Buy).

Please let me know what other information you might need to assist me.

Red Cross appears usually when the battery has failed.

If you have already tried the hard reset and update the drivers, then it seems not be much you can do.

Repair of Lenovo, while you are still in warranty, it would be my suggestion.

  • Z510 shutting down Lenovo made sudden initial troubleshooting - ideas?

    Hello everyone,

I have a Lenovo z510, I bought 1 year and 3 months ago and it worked fine until about 1 month ago.

1 month ago I changed the thermal paste, because I had an overheating problem, after this, worked perfect for 2-3 weeks and now I have another problem

Since a few days ago, my computer is down suddenly when I tried to play games. On windows or Internet not found no problem.

If the computer is connected all night to the power of the energy, in the morning, the computer can be on the games for 3-4 hours before closing, after that if I try again to turn on the computer and play again the time is reduced to 10-15 minutes. (If I turn on the computer and I use it to listen to music or on the internet works well)

When I turned on the computer appeared at a window, informed me that and a link to buy a new charger or battery.

Checked events system, core error 41 power - the computer was stopped by a problem of energy.
Plans energy windows enabled, I tried, same problem
Lenovo, tried, same problem uninstalled energy management
Lenovo to 8.1, same problem installed energy management
Disabled an option on system control panel/system/advanced/recovery/restart in case of failure, tried, same problem
Tried to install the firmware of the battery, after that download pops up that is not compatible with 8.1 or is not a Lenovo (O.o?) computer

At this point, I started to throw the source of software...

Opened verified computer motherboard, looks ok
disconnecting the battery and tried without battery, simply with the cable, same problem
plugged again battery and power supply unit changed, same problem

On the computer, all of the steps above, the battery is displayed 100% before and after his stop.
    No error appeared

Checked Lenovo forums, no solution based, but founded the people with the same question (or similar)

Can you help me or give me ideas?

    Thanks in advance

    awaiting your response

  • Z510 - fake battery percentage

I bought Lenovo Ideapd Z510 about 1.5 years. Installed 10 Windows via Windows update 3 months ago. My laptop was working fine until now. 1 week ago I just changed a document and suddenly portable got off without any notification. He did not stop rather he turns off unexpectedly. Shown before setting power off battery percentage was 70%. I tried to turn it on but also used the recovery key, but nothing helped. I plugged in the charger and the charge indicator noticed was RED, which means the battery is low. I turned on the laptop and now the battery percentage shown was 0. Self decided to execute gauge reset it using Lenovo Energy Manager, which in turn will calibrate the battery.

After two days I though that he's fine now. But I have PES on my laptop for 2 hours and the specified battery life was still 94%. I got that wrong info is displayed. I generated enery powercfg-energy command prompt report. Once I opened the report that I was surprised to see tha last full Charge value is greater than the design capacity, which is quite bizarre. Now, it takes two or three hours to charge completely from 99% to 100%. And even after lsitening to music, surf the Web and edit several documents at the same time battery percentage shown never becomes less than 94% and thatbtoo it takes 2 hours to go from 100% to 96 or 94%.

Please help me. I want to know what it related equipment and in particular the battery or with the operating system? Note that I did not install any new application or a program in the past 5 months. Thanks in advance.

  • Battery Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 13 (0217) problem

    Hello guys,.

Because I couldn't find a solution for my problem, I decided to write here, hoping that someone (by a team from Lenovo or users) have the same problem and therefore can help me.

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 13 model (version 0217). (I bought from a friend, because he didn't deliver more when I decided to buy it.)

I have problems with my battery. The design of this capacity is 62.12 Wh, I used it wisely, so it was not always charged to 100%. I always unload down around 5-7% and then plug the power adapter. (See image).

My first problem is that during the last 3 months, the capacity is down to 45,88 Wh and I can't really understand why. This can be a generic problem with the battery?

My second problem is - for which I found another topic here, but it did not help me - that when I charge the battery, stops at 99% of load, showing "3 minutes is remaining" and if I disconnect and reconnect the adapter, it stops like 99% saying have completely loaded. In the battery maintenance, I changed the settings to "always fully charge' Custom, but still, it won't charge the battery fully.

My third problem is that I have updated the BIOS of my laptop a few days ago, and when I try to search for an update of the firmware battery or when I do a battery meter reset, the system shuts down suddenly without any warning or something else.

I would be really grateful if someone could help me with this, I like really my laptop but it really bothers me...

    Thanks in advance.

    (1) so that you must have used it a bit and then, under the charge cycle is at 234.

    (2) don't know, but sometimes my battery the fact.

    (3) download HWinfo32 and check your system temp, and what temperature your CPU is.
