  I recently bought Flash CS3 Professional with absolutely no background in Flash at all. Even after watching the video training from Total Training companion, I am completely overwhelmed!

  Also, the Flash help book can be overwhelming for a beginner. I suggest you
  Google'ing "flash tutorials". There are countless sites and dedicated forums
  to make expert beginners.

• Adobe Flash CS3 Professional

  Hi, I created a flash (action script 3.0) file. It uses flash. I have a question, am I able to switch the content inside, which are my own lecture notes in adobe dreamweaver. I don't want to use the flash, because the iphone has some display problems there. Instead can use adobe dreamweaver to do? Someone has an idea to do?

  If it is a jpeg image and not text, then you must use the html code to place the image in an html page.  Dreamweaver files may have established them to code/text.  If you want to display an image in a HTML to Dreamweaver, then you must use the appropriate tags/code.  Looks like you have no familiarity with the creation of web pages, then you will want to start asking questions in the Dreamweaver forum.

• Added links to my Flash CS3 Professional buttons

  I did a few buttons that blink when the user hovers over them, and they need to add links to them because they are the navigation buttons.
  
  I got 1 of the buttons to work by using the following code in the control panel actions:

  }
  
  It works very well and can be seen at www.grangestudridingschool.co.uk
  
  Another one of the buttons works but will not be charged to the top of the page, the code for this button is as follows:

  getURL (" http://www.grangestudridingschool.co.uk/livery.html","_self")
  }
  
  The problem I have with the second button is that it tries to put a link to the delivered page but without the .html so it returns a 404 error because this isn't the title of the page!
  
  So my first question is: why it will not connect to livery.html or how can I make a link to this page?
  
  My second question is why usually my other buttons work as I have used the same code and change what needs to be changed, what follows is the 2 mistakes I recive on my other buttons:
  
  1120: access of property BreakingButton.BreakingButton.onRelease = function () {the undefined
  1180: call to a method may not set getURL.getURL ("www.grangestudridingschool.co.uk/breakingschooling.html", "_self")
  
  Sorry for the long explanation but I have tried with this now for three days and I lose a lot of hair, trying to sort out.

  I just watched one of the files (button Breaking) and may have found the problem... The instance of the button is not named (in the properties panel).

  And their AS2 was a good catch on your part... Code AS2 (getURL) will not fly in an AS3 file (which uses navigateToURL). I assumed that they were all in the same file, so if it worked, all have them.

  Yes, new features are added to Actionscript between versions.  Given that CS3 is the first version, that it will not support all the features of coding that makes the CS5.

• Flash CS3 Animation quality question

  I created the Flash animation with integrating graphics background JPG and 1 lines vertical and horizontal pixels. The background is behaving well, but lines blink (or floating, depending on the resolution of the image and the dimensions of the document) despite the different parameters and formats of film I used. I managed to solve the problem by increasing the size of the document (i.e. using 600 x 600 px instead of the expected 200 x 200 px). You the product usually problem when the image moves horizontally on the screen. The JPG image background and all horizontal lines are fine, but the vertical lines flicker or disappear momentarily. I work with Fireworks CS3 and Flash CS3 Professional. Can anyone help? Thank you.

  Thanks John. This is exactly what has caused the problem. After I put on the scale the chart outside of Flash, and then imported in Flash him "blinking" had disappeared.

• Return to Flash Professional 8 after Flash CS3

  I've tested the Flash CS3 and worked with a FLA document and it forced me to save in the new CS3 format. I didn't like the new Flash CS3 and returned and installed 8 Studio which includes Flash 8 Professional. Now I can't open the .fla file at all and it says: "unexpected file format", and it's a .fla file! Help, please. How can I cancel this works on my .fla files. Thank g-d only, I have done this with three files, but the three files are very important.
  
  I want to stay with Flash Professional 8, but now, after living in Flash CS3 and it forced me to save in the new format, I can not re - open my FLA files in Flash 8. Remedies? It is urgent and important.

  You cannot reinstall the trial - it expires after 30 days and you will need to buy to
  continue to use it.
  You have never ti uninstall Flash 8 to record up to 8 Flash with CS3 - you can have multiple
  version of Flash installed on the same machine.

• Impossible to update Flash CS4 Professional version 10.2 10.0

  Hello, I tried to update my Flash CS4 in order to solve a problem I have with CS4 crashing when you try to open the document flash (.fla) files.

  When you say own uninstall, did you use the cleanup tool? Use the CC cleaning tool to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6

• .fla file format did not recognize Flash 8 Professional

  unrecognized file .fla format.  Just downloaded the Flash 8 Professional.  I have a CD to go to Adobe Flash CS3 revealed, a textbook.  Takes the CD fla files and when I go to open a file.  It gives the warning... fla file format not recognized.  Suggestions?

• Registration of Camtasia to Flash CS3

  I develop Flash training tutorials and have a problem that I hope someone can help me with. I have not noticed this in previous versions of Flash, but something is not right and I can't put my finger on it. I tried different versions and types of screen recorders, but they all produce the same results.
  
  Which brings me to my question.
  
  I've upgraded to Flash CS3 and noticed that when you make my screen recordings the side panels, which hold the Flash tools are not counted. When I say tools I am referring to the library, behaviour, components, etc. These are all part of the capture screen, but everything I see on the record is a grey area. I tried on my old version of Flash, and the recorders work very well.
  
  When I drag the tools for the center of the stage, I can see the properties of the tool themselves, but I can't see the tabs that allow me to move between tool palettes. It's very frustrating because the record are pretty useless without the ability to see the tabs or tool palettes.
  
  I use Windows XP Professional
  NVIDIA Geoforce 8800 GTX graphics card
  4 GB of Ram.
  Intel Core 2 CPU (2.13 Ghz)
  
  Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated that I spent several hours trying to figure this out and do not progress. I want everything first including ActionScript 3.0 tutorials on my website, but until I work this problem I cannot get registration which are of a good quality to post.
